In Chapter 12, Uzaki remarks that wearing sunglasses makes him look like a normal person since it covers his eyes. Additionally, Uzaki's mother can barely keep it together around him just because of how intimidating his glare is. In Chapter 31, she realized she can actually be comfortable around him as long as he's not looking directly at her.

* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Sakurai is cripplingly terrified of horror stuff, and during a test of courage with his friends, he has a HeroicBSOD so bad that Uzaki has to bring him to safety by taking his hand. Ironically, when Uzaki tries to invoke this from him by making him watch a horror movie, ''[[GirlsAreReallyScaredOfHorrorMovies she]]'' ends up being the frightened one, while Sakurai actually shows little to no major reaction to it.

* ArentYouGoingToRavishMe: In Chapter 58, Sakurai asks her to take off her jacket, and she nervously complies... only to realize he just wanted to make sure she was wearing one of the shirts he'd been looking for. She's so upset about it that she decides to get back at him by making him watch a horror movie together with her... which [[HoistByHisOwnPetard ironically works more on]] ''[[GirlsAreReallyScaredOfHorrorMovies her]]'' than ''[[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes him]]''.

* GirlsAreReallyScaredOfHorrorMovies: In Chapter 59, she ropes Sakurai into watching a horror movie with her as revenge for the ArentYouGoingToRavishMe moment from the previous chapter. Surprisingly, he sits through the whole movie just fine, while ''she'' is the one who ends up terrified and clinging to him, and even begs him to let her stay at his place because she's too scared to walk home.

* SeriousBusiness: 'Choco-mint ice cream''. She's willing to get into heated debates over whether it is the best flavor.

* TeensAreShort: She's a 19-year-old (later 20) who stands at 150cm (4'11")..only to be revealed that she was lying the whole and is actually 145 cm (4'9"). However, she's certainly grown in other directions.
