* VillainTeamUp: Kuon brings over Waldstein and Enkidu to his cause for the Final Night. Waldstein joins to honor their friendship while Enkidu joins under the promise of the greatest challenge he'll ever face for when he gets his turn fighting Kuon. Waldstein also has no intention of letting Kuon fulfill his ambitions without one last bout.

* IdiotHair: To an almost comical degree. Kuon has a pair of ahoge that are so absurdly large that they end up looking more like a pair of antennae.

* TheAgeless: Looks and sounds almost as young as Linne does. The sequel reveals that he is somehow able to alter his physical age, now appearing as a young adult man rather than a teenager.
* AloofBigBrother: He's the oldest of the two Siblings of Eternity.

** Speaking of Seth, Kuon is most likely the one who made contact with Chaos for him to deliver the Eliminators to him. This must have been an important element to Kuon's plans as the possibility of Seth simply running with the Eliminators in hand and not forming a contract with Chaos was perfectly fine in Kuon's eyes.

** His older form in ''[Sys:Celes]'' now seems to have solved that issue.

* FaceHeelTurn: Over the course of at least five hundred years, Kuon went from an honorable young boy who would help a foe without hesitation to a cold, scheming being.
* FallenHero: Kuon willingly gave up both his own and his sister Linne's chances at a normal life so that the various factions of his clan would stop quarreling with each other. That was centuries ago. In the present day, Kuon is now coldly manipulating those same factions towards his own enigmatic goals. Regardless of what those goals may be, the way he's going about them has turned him into an antagonist to much of the cast.

* {{Jerkass}}: According to WordOfGod, Uzuki is one of the worst in Amnesia. She's not a villain like Hilda is, she's just a ''really'' shitty person.

* AffablyEvil: Even though he is the true BigBad, he comes off as rather friendly towards Hyde when they meet for the first time. He even goes out of his way to try and talk Hilda out of trying to become a Re-Birth, though he does admit that it's mainly to benefit his own schemes. Some of his lines in ''[Sys:Celes]'' even have him politely introducing himself.
** He's described as being a benevolent, merciful, and overall chivalrous young man. While his intentions are unknown, he was certainly a heroic person back in the old days.
** Apparently too heroic in that he opted to have himself AND his probably unwilling sister to bear a curse for eternity, something Linne herself isn't willing to let him off the hook for.
** Still has it in him to be incredibly polite if you can ignore the fact that his end-goal is the destruction of the world.
** [[spoiler: Honors his promise made to Gordeau and sends Roger back to the world of the living.]]

* TheOjou: Unlike her friends who all share similar upbringings as orphans, Kaguya is said to be a from a renowned family.

* TechnicalPacifist: Subverted and averted. Kaguya mimics Orie's win-line from the previous game at how her bullets punish the wicked like how Orie's Ruler is non-lethal to those who are pure of heart. Kaguya however states that her bullets will hurt anyone.

On the gameplay side of things, Tsurugi is a rushdown character bar none, sporting an incredibly aggressive moveset designed to get him up in his opponent's face as soon as possible and not once letting up on the offense with a mixture of large, powerful normals. To add to this, Tsurugi has the unique mechanic of all of his Increase attacks having guard points, which are brief windows during an attack where Tsurugi is fully armored, allowing him to fake an opponent out when they try to get the drop on him.\\\

* AffectionateNickname: Tsurugi calls Hyde "Kido-cchi" in the scrapped Chronicle scenario featuring him and Sasaki and it's not out the world for him to have been the one to start calling Komatsu as "Koma-chan".

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: Going with the theme of ''UNI'' taking several cues from ''VideoGame/MeltyBlood''/''VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}}'', Tsurugi is very clearly based on Arihiko Inui, being the HotBlooded, orange haired best friend of the main protagonist. Where they differ, however, is while Arihiko is Shiki's MuggleBestFriend, Tsurugi is already an experienced In-Birth who has been partaking in the Hollow Night for way longer than Hyde has. Tsurugi is also not characterized as a womanizer or a delinquent.

* BenevolentBoss: Tsurugi isn't the proper leader of the EFG, he mainly does most of the work involving new recruits and acts friendly towards all of them. He's done enough recruiting to have an informal protocol for bringing students from outside the school to the Student Council Room. While the real leader is the yet unseen Student Council President of the school named Sasaki, the Student Council Room is utilized as the EFG's Headquarters.

* DefeatMeansFriendship: [[spoiler: Was forced to join Licht Kreis after being defeated by Silvaria 10 years prior to the game's start. She has come to appreciate her new life although she isn't a 100% satisified from being humiliated by Silvaria.]]

-> The former leader of a group of In-Births called Bankikai, and a past associate of the woman now called Tsukuyomi. Bankikai's reputation as a faction once grew to such heights, that it put them under the eyes of both Licht Kreis and especially Amnesia. Ogre and the rest of Bankikai eventually did battle with Amnesia before unforeseen circumstances lead to the group's disbanding and his own untimely death... For a while, at least.\\

Nearly a year later, around the time that Kuon announces his plans for the Seven-Day Immortalize, Ogre - a man once thought dead and buried - is alive and kicking once again, and even he doesn't know how or why. With his group disbanded since his passing and no one to turn to, Ogre steps into the Night once again, searching for answers in regards to his resurrection.\\

* BackFromTheDead: Someway, somehow, Ogre has been resurrected following his death at the hands of the turned Roger and the first thing he does following his return to the waking world is go searching for answers as to how exactly he managed to come back to life.
