* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Before and after CharacterDevelopment, Branch serves as the grumpy and sour manly man to the male Pop Trolls' energetic and sunny sensitive guys.

* NiceGuy. Being the shyest and most sensitive of his brothers, he is possibly the most kind and supportive of them all. Both outside and inside the universe he is recognized as TheHeart of his family.

* BigBrotherInstinct: Inverted. One of his most defining traits in ''Band Together'' is his determination to help Floyd. Despite his initial annoyance to reunite with the brothers that abandoned him, Branch quickly decides to help them when he learns Floyd has been kidnaped. He shows several times his concern for Floyd's well-being and is determined to save him even without the help of his other siblings.
** When Branch finally reunites with Floyd, he refuses to abandon him when the latter asks him to [[spoiler:and is the one who catches him when he is freed from his glass prison, in addition to being the first to hug him in joy when Floyd wakes up from his DisneyDeath.]]

* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Literally in his past as a member of [=BroZone=] his nickname was Baby Branch because he is the youngest of five brothers. Even after 20 years had passed, when reuniting with John Dory, Bruce, and Clay, Branch is still treated like he were a baby, with John Dory attempting to carry him, Bruce tossing him like a baby would be tossed, and Clay’s comments about him being adorable, much to his displeasure and slight embarrassment. Averted with Floyd, however, who sees Branch for the grown-up he's become.

* BigBrotherInstinct: Inverted with Floyd. Despite his initial annoyance to reunite with the brothers that abandoned him, Branch quickly decides to help them when he learns Floyd has been kidnaped.

* LovedByAll: Despite the past resentments that some of his brothers have towards each other, none of them have anything negative to say about Floyd due to his gentle nature and the only thing they can agree on is saving him.

* OlderThanTheyLook: A flashback shows that Floyd was already a young adult when Branch was only a baby, putting the former at least in his late thirties in the present day. Despite this, unlike the rest of his siblings he looks no older than the now adult Branch, and could even be mistaken as ''younger'' than him at face value.

* AmbiguouslyGay: While he doesn't show attraction to anyone in the movie and he hasn't been officially confirmed to be gay, he wears an earring on his right ear, which is a classic sign used by gay men in real life to hint at their sexuality. His voice actor is also openly gay.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Played straight and inverted since he is the second youngest. He is the one who is most concerned with Branch in the opening flashback. He tells Velvet and Veneer to leave his brothers alone. Plus, when John Dory and Branch come to rescue him, each time he begs them to leave for their own safety.

* OlderThanTheyLook: Subverted in the flashbacks, but in the present, he could easily be confused as Branch's younger brother and the youngest of the five brothers due to his adolescent looks.
