* ScaryScorpions: Even moreso than his [[Film/{{Transformers}} live-action movie]] counterpart. He's humongous, fast and relentless at killing. Whatever the Transformer throw at him from gunfire to grenades don't work, and only evade him through using an anti-gravity switch.

* GutturalGrowler: Fitting considering he turns into a tiger.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He puts up a good fight against Prime himself in their initial fight aboard the Ark, and he still leads the Maximals in this version.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Despite being an AdaptationalWimp, this Megatron is still a very dangerous commander and an utterly ruthless fighter who can combine both his robot and beast forms to literally tear his opponents to shreds. As the commander of the Predacons, he managed to reduce the Maximal army from a force of 200 units to a squad of 6. One unruly Decepticon Seeker learns this the hard way as Megatron mauls him in his beast mode when he dismisses the Predacon commander’s orders. The rest of the seekers quickly fall in line after this display.

* CloningBlues: Per Bumblebee, reminding him he's a clone is a BerserkButton for him.

* TakingTheBullet: [[spoiler:He is mortally wounded while shielding Ratchet from Starscream, [[DiedInYourArms dying minutes later in Ratchet's arms]].]]

* TheRevolutionWillNotBeVillified: Optimus tries really hard to uphold this. When Bumblebee is about to leave the Ark, wanting no part in the Autobots' fight, some Autobots hold him at gunpoint because they believe he will rat them out to the Decepticons. Optimus has to order them to stand down and let Bumblebee go.

* EldritchAbomination: On top of his usual status as a giant transforming planet, he can now see across various timelines and speak directly or control others.

* AdaptedOut: Tarantulas' role in her creation and their partnership/rivalry is excised in this version, as Tarantulas is not present in Kingdom.

* GadgeteerGenius: Kept from her original Beast Wars depiction. She creates a device that, combined with Megatron's Energon signature (extracted from [[spoiler:his battle with Starscream]]), allows the Golden Disk's contents to be read by anyone. [[spoiler:This breaks Starscream mentally when he steals said device and reads the disk, allowing [[EldritchAbomination Unicron]] to be aware of him and the events of Kingdom.]]

* BadassBaritone: Quite deep voiced, reminiscent of his [[WebAnimation/TheTransformersPowerOfThePrimes Prime Wars]] incarnation.

* AssKickingEqualsAuthority: Comes with being the leader of the Decepticons. [[spoiler:He leads the charge at the climactic battle at the end of the season to try and prevent the Autobots from taking the [=AllSpark=] and escaping Cybertron]]

* WhatTheHellHero: He's not afraid to call out some of Optimus' judgement calls, especially if he feels Optimus is crossing the line. [[JustForPun Prime]] example being his disgust at Optimus [[IfYouKillHimYouWillBeJustLikeHim actually attempting to execute Megatron by blowing his head off.]]
