I'm deleting this entry because upon rereading OG Tokyo Ghoul he was honestly shown to treat the other members of the CCG with a lot of decency, Amon in particular. I feel like the comment about him not going to funerals was meant to be seen as his way of coping with his frequently people in the CCG are killed in combat. Especially since exploring how characters deal with the fucked up nature of the setting is honestly a pretty major theme throughout the series.
Deleted line(s) 191 (click to see context) :
* {{Narcissist}}: Other than the care for his family, Mado only cares for himself and his own goals. Even Maurade states to Amon that Mado wouldn't even show up for his funeral or any of his former partners, showing only loyalty to himself.
Added DiffLines:
* ItsAllAboutMe: Actually subverted. While Marude can initially seem like he's only interested in himself and getting a promotion, he actually turns out to be a pretty decent and reasonable guy underneath it all.

* AssholeVictim: Given how many A rare example that's both played straight ''and'' subverted. From the perspective of ghouls, he was basically a serial killer who preyed upon innocent ghouls he murdered especially such as Hinami's parents and Touka's father, making his death pretty much deserved. From the perspective of other humans, however, he defintely had it coming.was a genuinely good-hearted family man and mentor who was devoted to protecting innocent humans. Interesting, [[GreyAndGrayMorality neither view is treated as incorrect]].

Added DiffLines:
* AssholeVictim: Considering she abused her own son and gave him extremely dumb advice she hypocritically didn't follow herself that caused him to discard his humanity later in the story, it's easy to rejoice in her karmic demise.
Added DiffLines:
* DirtyCoward: She ran away from any responsibility of raising Kaneki and doesn't stand up to her sister on making her work for her own money, so she worked to support both households and abused Kaneki to keep running away from her problems till she died from overwork just because she couldn't tell her sister off.
