A werewolf who left her pack long before the game takes place. She used to be a normal, cheerful girl, but a lot of terrible things happened to her at once, leaving her bitter and angry. She's somewhat mellowed out from her canon self, proving to be one of the more level-headed of this wacky group, she isn't completely over everything that happened to her. While she has very low opinions of the majority of her team, she joined in the hopes of keeping Christie safe, from the pirates chasing her, and her terrible choice of guardians.

* TheChosenOne: Jake is fated to be the Atlantean Dragon, as he will be the representative dragon of the USA. Though still in training, he still has the responsibilities and authority of protecting the magical world.

* DelightfulDragon: Jake is usually a rather friendly and approachable dragon himself, unless you end being a force of evil, where he won't hesitate to take you down.

*SelfDuplication: Jake is able to create doppelgangers by using his chi. He used this ability to trick most of Team B so that they don't think the dragon aiding them against the dust demon is him.

to:

* AbusiveParents: Part of the reason Shoto ran away from home was due to his father's brutal training. That, and the curse that his mother placed on him when the abuse she was under caused her to snap and cast it on him.

* BigBrotherInstinct: Despite regarding most of the team rather coldly, Shoto quickly starts looking after Matilda, by buying a room at the inn when she had exhausted herself in the first city for instance, or staying close by to catch her if she fainted again. Matilda even mentions he'd make a good big brother, which surprises him. Hinata's disposition and Caitlin implying that it's caused by abuse caused him to feel protective over her as well, though he hasn't done anything to outwardly prove it yet.

* BrokenAce: Shoto had a lot of privileges, powerful magic, a very high-class family, and every chance to become a well-known and beloved hero. The abuse at the hands of his father and mother's curse has left him with a lot of issues.

* DarkandTroubledPast: Not only did he go through the same abuse as in canon, but has the added bonus of a curse that causes him to go into an animalistic rage whenever he feels too many emotions.

* HatesTheirParent: Shoto's relationship with his father has deteriorated to the point that Shoto (under the effects of his curse) attacked Endeavor and ran away from home. Shoto even considers the idea that Endeavor has sent mercenaries after him while hiding the truth from the public to keep from admitting that he was beaten by his son in a fight.

* HeroicLineage: While the world itself is different, Shoto's home still highly values heroes, and his father is still only the second best.

* IWorkAlone: Shoto mentions several times that he doesn't need the rest of the group, but stays with them anyway. When Caitlin mentions her concerns about him if they were separated, he responded that he could take care of himself.

* ModestRoyalty: A bit more literal here than in canon. Where originally Shoto's father was basically just a very popular celebrity, here, he's actually the ruler of a section of their home country. None of his team make any mention of suspecting him to be high-class, at least partially because he refuses to even talk about his family.

* MommasBoy: The similarities between Caitlin and Shoto's mom are enough to get him to follow her instructions better than most of the team. Whenever she asks him to follow her, he agrees (and complains that he doesn't need anyone to look after him).

* ThouShaltNotKill: After freezing Moonbow up to her neck, he points out that he could easily kill her by freezing the rest of her head. Caitlin and a few others argue not to, which quickly annoys him because he was just trying to scare her into complying.

* TykeBomb: Just like in his original canon, Shoto's father intentionally married his mom in an attempt to create a worthy successor, then trained him mercilessly from a young age.

Added DiffLines:

* AllLoveisUnrequited: Leah for Sam, and an unnamed teenage werewolf for Leah.

* BerserkButton: Nyssa bringing up her beloved causes Leah to snap at her in annoyance, due to her own issues regarding romance.

* DeadpanSnarker: When not utterly baffled by the rest of the group's shenanigans, Leah tends to prefer just snarking at the team.

* DarkandTroubledPast: Having your fiance maul her cousin then marry her instead, being bound to him thanks to werewolf magic, and then having to watch her new, better alpha abandon her and a bunch of children to die has left Leah pretty jaded and angry.

* FantasticRacism: Leah's introduction to the game was trying to sell off some jewelry she found after killing a bunch of vampires, or as she calls them, leeches.

* HairTriggerTemper: Just like in canon, Leah's powers still require her to get angry. While she has mellowed out a little bit, she's still sometimes shows her temper, such as when Nyssa mentions her beloved one too many times.

* LightningBruiser: Retains her high speed from canon, one of Leah's first actions in the game is to zip around a warehouse, taking back chests for Christie.

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: By the start of the game, Leah's already left her pack behind and has lived on her own for the past year. This is partially due to a teenager imprinting on her, which was too much for her to handle.

A young kunoichi from Konohagakure, who became lost on a diplomatic mission involving her and several others from her clan venturing out into the world to make contact with other significant kingdoms and settlements. Hinata stumbled across the rest of Team A while fending for herself in the woods near Lekhitia, and has tentatively begun to settle herself in with the rest of the party in hopes that their company will eventually help her in getting home. Hinata has shown herself to be shy, gentle, and kindhearted by nature, though her village's (and clan's) practices have made her a dangerous fighter for her age despite her thoughts to the contrary. This combined with the mistreatment her clan has dealt to her have made her even more uncertain and wary, but a part of her hopes that her time with the party will bring about some new (and much wanted) changes in her.
----
!!Tropes:
* AuraVision: Her Byakugan allows her to perceive the flow of chakra and other supernatural energies in living beings; as is the purpose of her bloodline ability.
* TheClan: (Ex) heiress of the Hyūga clan; specifically the main branch.
* CloseRangeCombatant: Her family's practices and her relatively low chakra reserves render Hinata a primarily hand-to-hand fighter (though by her family's standards she's severely lacking). While she also has the basic Academy jutsu down pat, this was more out of necessity to even ''become'' a ninja in the first place.
* HeiressToTheDojo: Originally. Hinata is the daughter of the head of the main branch in her clan, however her status as a ‘disappointment’ soon meant this title was passed onto her more promising younger sister instead.
* {{Honorifics}}: Due to her formal upbringing and polite nature, Hinata uses these a lot in conversation with her allies.
* InadequateInheritor: Her lack of combat ability, timid nature, and reluctance to hurt others meant that her original privileges as heiress to her clan were soon revoked in favour of her sister Hanabi.
* LuminescentBlush: Her shy nature and poor self-confidence cause her to break out into this when given much attention or positive reinforcement.
* ModestRoyalty: Despite her technically noble lineage, Hinata presents herself as a completely ordinary girl and hasn't managed to let herself fall into the more arrogant practices of some of her relatives.
* NiceGirl: Even though she's been raised as a ninja in a fairly unforgiving environment, Hinata has still retained her kind nature and shows an active dislike of any conflict or trouble in regards to the rest of the party.
* PressurePoint: Her family's traditional Gentle Fist style takes full advantage of these in regards to their opponents—to the point where they can severely damage the internal organs of their foes by injecting chakra straight into their systems so as to cause maximum damage.
* ProphetEyes: Her inherited Byakugan gives her blank white eyes even while it's dormant; giving her the (ironic) appearance of being blind. In truth, however, her eyes can perceive in an almost complete sphere around herself and can even see through opaque surfaces.
* TheQuietOne: Her timidity and lack of confidence means that even when she ''does'' speak it is usually at a volume comparable to a whisper. This is represented in-thread by shrunken text in her speech.
* ShrinkingViolet: A notable example, due to her somewhat isolated upbringing and lack of sufficient positive reinforcement. Still, Hinata would've been the shy sort regardless of the fact—her treatment at the hands of her family has only ended up exemplifying these traits.
* ShyFingerTwiddling: Does this a lot as a prominent nervous tic.
* SilkHidingSteel: Even though she's the gentle sort and technically considered unskilled by her family, Hinata ''is'' a powerful fighter in her own right and is ultimately willing to fight if it's in behalf of her friends or if there's no other option.

* TheAtoner: Her heat-sickness has previously led to several deaths, and because of this, she is a wanted woman. She is trying everything within her power to make amends.

* HorrorHunger: Caitlin is a "heat vampire", a condition which forces her to siphon warmth from other living creatures. Though she's learned to somewhat keep this sickness under control, it's led to her killing several people in the past.

* AnIcePerson: She was thrown into a cave with magical properties. It gave her the ability to manipulate ice, but also rendered her unable to produce her own body heat, forcing her to drain it from others in order to survive.

* MysticalWhiteHair: She's a sorceress with snowy white curls.

* PowerDyesYourHair: She mentions that prior to the accident that gave her her powers, her hair was brown.

* ReformedButRejected: Most people outside of her new found family don't really believe she's changed.

* TeamMom: She's very protective of her younger party members. Shoto has to remind himself that she isn't really his mom, given that she looks like his mother and they have a similar power set.
