* SingleIssuePsychology: Averted. Realizing that [[ATragedyOfImpulsiveness the Queen didn't do anything wrong]] lessens his pain not a bit- [[spoiler: his sister was still anihilated in front of him for no fault of her own]], and he still needs justice for that.

A summoner in Freedom with an Award in the 300s, whose vessel is her twin sister Higan. She initially traveled to Toy Dream 35 for an exorcism job, which turns out to be a trap laid by Guard of Honor. Renge managed to escape, but was separated from her sister in her process. Rather than saving her partners like Kyousuke, she spurs them on in their vengeance, into a self-destructive spiral. She first appears in Volume 3 as the major antagonist. [[spoiler:At the end of Volume 5, Kyousuke rescues her from captivity and asks her to help him with his revenge against the White Queen. Currently, she and Kyousuke are in an uneasy partnership]].

A former leader of Freedom, who had achieved and stayed at an Award of 500 (hence the name). Incorrigibly lazy, she tended to be asleep even at important meetings. Along with Humanism and Open Bluff, she was one of the backers behind the Fifteen Siblings Project. [[spoiler:She turns out to actually be the Unexplored-Class Material, the Spirit of Fluttering Yellow Gills that Rules the Heavens, and is still alive. She'd pretended to be human to avoid being summoned]].

* DefectorFromDecadence

A summoner and scientist with a high status in Government, who specialises in research on spiritual damage. She is the leading researcher on the Anthill Project, [[spoiler:a means of mass-producing vessels]]. Despite having an Award of 109, she has never fought a single summoning battle. Her summoning name is Academia, and her Blood Sign (if she has one) is unknown.

A former leader of Government. Despite being around ten years old, she had progressed through all the three factions and reached an Award of 2799. Along with Open Bluff and Perfect Equilibrium, she was one of the backers behind the Fifteen Siblings Project. [[spoiler:She was killed in the Secret War while fighting the White Queen]].

The tyrannical former leader of Government. He had reached the legendary level of Award 1000, becoming one of the Thousand Eaters. Prior to the beginning of the series, he was assassinated by [[spoiler:his own vessel, Lu Niang Lan. However, it turned out that he'd survived, and he returns in Volume 6 trying to take her back. At the end, she kills him once and for all]].

* ArmyOfThievesAndWhores

An agent of Illegal, who's neither a summmoner nor a vessel. Despite this, she has managed to reach the Award 100 level. She has a number of jobs, including working as an assassin and running a shop with summoning-related goods. [[spoiler:In the past, she was the vessel of Elvast Toydream. Eventually, she managed to stab him in the back and escape]].

* AdultFear: She controls it well, but blacking out and WakingUpElsewhere in restraints brings back bad memories of her slavery.

A strange summoner who first appears at the airport battle in Volume 2. Despite only being around twelve years old, he is a summoner and a member of the Illegal organisation Killer Intent Antenna. [[spoiler:He is the son of Reiji Yasuzumi, another summoner and the former head of the group. After Reiji died, his vessel Fuuki decided to form a contract with Hayato and train him as Reiji's successor. Along with Fuuki, he is one of the main antagonists of Volume 2]].

A vessel in Illegal, and one of the Holy Key Women. She is Kyousuke's vessel in Volume 4, having asked his help to save her fellows. She also bears an uncanny resemblance to Masami Shigara (aka Madam Professor). [[spoiler:She is secretly one of the main antagonists of the volume. All of the Holy Key Women's souls had been fused into her body (though she remained in control) and she had in fact given up on saving any. Instead, she aimed to prevent this happening again, and allied with Max Layard and Ellie Slide for this purpose]].

A former leader of Illegal. He had an Award of 0, having never bound a contract with a vessel or summoned a Material. Despite this, he was able to maintain his position through fear alone. Alongside Humanism and Perfect Equilibrium, he was one of the backers behind the Fifteen Siblings Project. [[spoiler:He was killed while fighting in the Secret War, having decided to take to the battlefield for the first time]].

One of Kyousuke's classmates, whom he refers to as "Librarian-chan" due to her appearance. She often works at part-time jobs, despite it being against the school rules. [[spoiler:In Volume 2, she is extremely disturbed upon seeing the Rainy Girl, a ghost with the appearance of her murdered sister Shouko. To uncover the truth, she becomes Kyousuke's vessel for that volume. After Kyousuke prevents Shouko's murder, these events never happened and Ryouko is now an ordinary student again]].

Ryouko's older sister, who was murdered by a serial killer at the age of eleven. She would later appear near Ryouko as a ghost, resulting in the urban legend of the Rainy Girl. [[spoiler:It turns out that she isn't a ghost, but is actually alive, having been dragged from the past due to Hayato's and Fuuki's plan distorting causality itself. She appeared in front of Kyousuke and Ryouko in order to warn them about said plan. After Hayato and Fuuki were defeated, the distortions stopped and Shouko returned to the past, where she expected to die. However, Kyousuke decided to follow her and stop the murderer. This created a new timeline, in which the story of Volume 2 never occurred, and Shouko now lives happily together with her sister]].

Another one of Kyousuke's classmates, the Student Council President. [[spoiler:She is the vessel of Hayato, and one of the antagonists of Volume 2. She used to be the vessel of Hayato's father Reiji, and shared his ideal of bringing about world peace by killing those in their way. However, Reiji committed suicide after failing to prevent Shouko Umie's murder. In the present, her and Hayato's aim is to make everyone in the world immortal by covering the world in an Artificial Sacred Ground]].

A vessel for Government. At the beginning of Volume 3, she forms a contract with Kyousuke, and they work together for the rest of the volume. [[spoiler:She was originally Sayuri Kawano, a normal middle school student, and Kuina's friend. But she was kidnapped by Government and subject to the Anthill Project, in order to demonstrate that this project would work even on ordinary people. At the end of the Volume, Kyousuke breaks off his contract with her, causing Isabelle to become a normal person again]].

* EmotionlessGirl

One of the main antagonists of Volume 3, Kuina was once just a normal middle school student. But one day, her friend Sayuri was kidnapped. Eventually, Biondetta contacted Kuina and revealed the truth: Sayuri had been kidnapped by Government as a candidate for the Anthill Project, turning her into the vessel [[spoiler:Isabelle]]. Furious and desperate for revenge, she made a contract with Biondetta to take down the Anthill Project and save Sayuri. She was willing to make use of anything that would help, even the mind-controlling ability of Girl's Backdoor. [[spoiler:But it turns out that she wasn't doing this of her own will - Biondetta had been controlling her as well, deliberately making her into an avenger for herself to serve]].

* UnwittingPawn: [[spoiler:To Biondetta]].

Better known as Madam Professor, Masami was one of the leading figures behind the Fifteen Siblings Project. [[spoiler:She was also a summoner who has attained Award 3000, making her the best summoner seen so far in the series. Her summoning name was World Complete. She used a squirrel as a vessel and her Blood Sign was made from liquid]].

A member of the Fifteen Siblings Project. After Kyousuke summoned the White Queen, he began to devise a method of usurping control of the Queen - Operation March Hare. [[spoiler:However, it failed, with the White Queen realizing the truth and killing him]].

One of the Fifteen Siblings, with the role of the Queen of Hearts. She was something of a big-sister figure to Kyousuke and Biondetta. [[spoiler:When the White Queen began her rampage, she was among the first to be killed]].

One of the Fifteen Siblings, with the role of the Mad Hatter. He managed to gain and hold the position of the strongest summoner among the fifteen, prior to Kyousuke summoning the White Queen and rendering the rankings meaningless. [[spoiler:He is implied to have been killed during the Secret War, presumably by Biondetta]].

The leader of a group of Egyptian tomb keepers. She is the possessor of the Founder's Map, [[spoiler:which is inscribed on her back. She becomes Kyousuke's vessel for Volume 6]].

* AllLovingHero: She doesn't hesitate to become Kyousuke's vessel to save the lives of others, even though it could interfere with her original purpose (of being a vessel for a specific god). [[spoiler:She also encourages him to make Lu Niang Lan his vessel for the final battle in Volume 6, to provide her with an opportunity to confront her trauma]].

The princess of Kingdom F, and Kyousuke's vessel prior to the start of the series. Kyousuke formed a contract with her as part of a job to settle the civil war in her country. Like all of his other Alices, she was released once her troubles were over. [[spoiler:She reappears at the end of Volume 6, having formed a contract with Doctor S to make Kyousuke and the White Queen get back together]].

* OneManArmy: Kyousuke believes- entirely justifiably- that it would take a war to kill Sinceria.

A mysterious member of Bridesmaid, first mentioned at the end of Volume 5. [[spoiler:He is actually Kyousuke's biological father, and the one responsible for his summoning skills and involvement in the Fifteen Siblings Project. He makes a contract with Olivia, and the two of them are the main antagonists of Volume 7]].

The very first [[ArtificialHuman Joruri Method]] made by the Meinokawa family, and worshipped as their secret god. She is the splitting image of the White Queen. [[spoiler:In Volume 7, Kyousuke visits her shrine, intending to make her the vessel for an artificial Unexplored-Class to defeat the White Queen. However, it turns out that the Queen has taken the place of the real Aoi]].

The highest level of Materials, which represent the immutable laws of the universe that even gods must follow. Unlike the Divine-Class, they are all original to the series. In ascending order of cost, they are: the Gold Harlot who Serves the Killer Boxes; the Spirit of the Fluttering Yellow Gills that Rules the Heavens; the Wicked Green Woman who Fills the World with Empty Treasure; the Lady of Purple Lightning that Separates Good from Evil; the Red-Eyed Lady who Sees Through all Sin and Calamity; the Ashen Shrine Maiden who Invites Merciful and Dignified Death; and the White Queen who Wields the Sword of Unsullied Truth. The Yellow Gills, Red-Eyed Lady and Wicked Green Woman, sometimes referred to simply as the Three, are the overseers of Freedom, Government and Illegal, respectively. [[spoiler:Due to being defeated by the Queen in the Secret War, the Unexplored-Class submitted to her, making the Queen invincible. Later on, the Colorless Little Girl Dedicated to a Single Goal is created by Kyousuke]].

* OrcusOnHisThrone: Her life consists basically of chilling out in the realm of Materials, watching humans do interesting things and waiting for Kyousuke to get involved in those things so she can show up in his life at dramatically appropriate moments.

The Colorless Little Girl Dedicated to a Single Goal is an Unexplored-Class [[spoiler:created by Kyousuke for the sole purpose of countering the White Queen. Due to being freshly created, she is outside of the White Queen's otherwise-absolute dominion over the universe. Her official name (aie – a – oio – ei – ueo – ioa – e – uai – ee) is constructed entirely from the vowels of the lowest sound range. She has a cost of 21 and no sound range, like the White Queen and Black Maw]].

[[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast The Black Maw That Swallows All]]. An uncontrollable Material that no one aims to summon, instead acting as a penalty for the unwary. If a summoner breaks one of two Taboos (hitting an equal number of high, middle and low sounds into Spots, or a White Thorn entering a spot when they have no White Thorns in stock) their Material will transform into the Black Maw and devour them. It then transforms back into the vessel, whose mind will be completely shattered. [[spoiler:It is also another facet of the White Queen]].

* APartyAlsoKnownAsAnOrgy: Her cultists tend to be...hedonistic. ([[{{Squick}} Yes, even children like Azalea.]]) It's one manifestation of the madness she spreads.

* EldritchAbomination: Her mere existence degrades the sanity/integrity of every human in the vicinity. Even if she doesn't do anything evil- or doesn't interact with people ''at all''. [[SlipperySlopeFallacy Just knowing that a supreme ideal power such as hers exists is enough to make people consider things they never would normally.]]

A database Material who ferries and filters information between the worlds. She is bodiless, being as infinite as knowledge itself, and colorless for the same reason. Her real name is too long to pronounce, akin to pi.
Her pawn is Natsuginu Shiroyama.

* Foil: She's the "omniscience" to the Queen's "omnipotence". Fittingly, the two look alike, but Wisdom is clothed in scraps and cables instead of the Sword of Truth because she doesn't have any of the Queen's power.

As a result, Kyousuke is driven to save people, while Biondetta is driven to help people with revenge. But they're ultimately NotSoDifferent, as they follow these ideals to inhuman extremes.
