** Luna's name is Spanish for "moon", which also comes from the Pink Floyd album, "Dark Side of the Moon", referring to her rock star image.

!!The Loud Siblings

[[folder:General]]
* AlliterativeName: [[AlphabeticalThemeNaming Each of their names start with the letter L]]...and of course they share the same surname Loud.
* AllWomenLoveShoes: Lori and Leni. Lori's shown to have a lot of shoes under her bed in "Get the Message", which she didn't even know before, due to always kicking off her shoes at random. Leni also has a lot of shoes in her closet, but she mostly wears sandals.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: As the theme song puts it "Duck, dodge, push and shove / This is how we show our love."
* BeautyBrainsAndBrawn:
** The eldest girls: Leni (beauty), Lori (brains), Luna (brawn)
** The middle girls: Luan (beauty), Lucy (brains), Lynn (brawn)
** The youngest girls: Lola (beauty), Lisa (brains), Lana (brawn)
** The odd ones out: Lily (beauty), Lincoln (brains), Clyde (brawn)
* BerserkButton: "Sounds of Silence" and "Making the Case" both show that using or ignoring them is not a smart move.
* BigScrewedUpFamily: 11 kids, two adults, all a tad nuts.
* BigSisterInstinct: All of Lincoln's sisters (older and younger) have this towards him. When they find out he's being bullied, they all jump to his defense.
* CatchPhrase: "Dang it." The phrase itself is said a total of twelve times in "Homespun."
* ColorCodedCharacters: Orange for Lincoln, sky blue for Lori, turquoise for Leni, purple for Luna, yellow for Luan, red for Lynn, black for Lucy, pink for Lola, blue for Lana, green for Lisa, and lavender for Lily.
* CrushBlush: All of the girls upon seeing Hugh, minus baby Lily.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Each of Lincoln's sister have gotten at least one so far.
** Lori: "No Guts, No Glori", "Save The Date", "A Fair To Remember", "The Waiting Game" and "Party Down".
** Leni: "Driving Miss Hazy" and "Along Came a Sister".
** Luna: "For Bros About To Rock" and "House Music".
** Luan: "April Fools Rules" and "Funny Business".
** Lynn: "Space Invader" and "The Loudest Yard".
** Lucy: "Sleuth or Consequences", "Back in Black", and "Spell It Out".
** Lana: "Toads and Tiaras", "Frog Wild" and "Patching Things Up".
** Lola: "Sounds of Silence", "Toads and Tiaras", "A Tattler's Tale" and "Patching Things Up".
** Lisa: "Snow Bored" and "Making the Grade".
** Lily: "Changing The Baby" and "Two Boys and A Baby".
* FamilyThemeNaming: Combines this with AlphabeticalThemeNaming, Each of their names start with the letter L. The Polish dub changes the first letter of each sibling's name (and nickname) to "H".
* FourTemperamentEnsemble:
** Sanguine: Leni, Luna (also phlegmatic), Luan, and Lana (also Choleric).
** Choleric: Lori (also melancholic), Lynn (also sanguine), and Lola.
** Melancholic: Lucy (also phlegmatic) and Lisa (also choleric).
** Phlegmatic: Lincoln and Lily (also sanguine).
* GenderBender: In "One Of The Boys", the sisters all become boys, while Lincoln himself becomes a girl later on... [[MindScrew somehow]]. After Lincoln escaping the AlternateUniverse in the episode, he briefly becomes a female version of himself named Linka. It was later revealed the whole thing was [[AllJustADream just a bad dream]].
** Lori as Loki.
** Leni as Loni.
** Luna as Luke.
** Luan as Lane.
** Lynn shares the same name as her male counterpart (Lynn is actually a unisex name). In fact, Lynn is pretty much the same as her male counterpart.
** Lucy as Lars.
** Lana as Leif.
** Lola as Lexx.
** Lisa as Levi.
** Lily as Leon.
* GenkiGirl: Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn and Lily.
* GibberishOfLove: All of the girls upon seeing Hugh, minus baby Lily. Lincoln himself upon seeing his HotTeacher.
* GirlsLoveChocolate: [[http://monolaf317.tumblr.com/post/157636745079 The sisters are all huge chocoholics,]] as revealed in the episode "Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru".
* JerkassBall: Lincoln or his sisters sometimes hold it for the sake of the plot, luckily, it usually leads to a...
* JerkassRealization: Sometimes, like in "Heavy Meddle" and "Cereal Offender", the girls will realize what insane jerks they've been upon seeing how badly their behavior affected Lincoln, and they'll try to make it up to him.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Most of them to some degree, constantly screwing Lincoln over but still caring about him.
* MassiveNumberedSiblings: 11 of them in total.
* MeaningfulName: They are not called the "Louds" for nothing.
* MysteriousMiddleInitial: Lisa's the only one of the eleven kids to have a middle initial that doesn't start with "L" (Lisa's middle name is actually "Marie"). The other ten children all have middle names that start with "L," but it hasn't been revealed what their middle names are.
** This is contradicted in an Instagram post that Mom uses the same middle name ("Marie") to remember them all, though this could be untrue.
* NiceMeanAndInbetween:
** Nice -- Leni, Luna, Lana, and Lily.
** Mean -- Lori and Lola.
** Inbetween -- Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lincoln and Lisa.
* NotSoAboveItAll: The more rational siblings such as Lori, Lisa, and Lincoln often join in the fun with their siblings. They are still kids after all.
* NotSoDifferent: A recurring theme in the series is showing they have more in common than Lincoln realizes.
* OddNameOut: Lincoln's the only one of the eleven kids to not have a four-letter name (his name has seven letters), though it can be shortened to "Linc". Also, Lynn's the only one of the eleven kids to have one syllable in her name (Lincoln and the rest of their sisters have two syllables in their names).
* PlentyOfBlondes: Over half the Louds, though justified due to genetics.
* ShipperOnDeck: All ten of Lincoln's sisters ship Lincoln and Ronnie Anne together.
** They've suggested Lincoln to kiss her when they find out his bully is a girl and hounding Lincoln the instant he gets home to find out if she asked him out to the Sadie Hawkins dance.
** Lori has a [[ShipperWithAnAgenda vested interest]] in making sure he and Ronnie Anne get along since she's dating Ronnie Anne's older brother. In fact, Bobby actually once broke up with Lori after discovering that Lincoln had (albeit unintentionally) hurt Ronnie Anne's feelings--Bobby explained that he couldn't bring himself to go out with someone who's related to someone who hurt the feelings of someone he's related to.
** Luan invites Ronnie Anne on April Fool's Day to throw a pie in Lincoln's face but she throws it in Luan's face instead. After the two walk off on a date, Luan says "she's a keeper."
* SiblingYinYang[=/=]RedOniBlueOni: All of them clash in some way, shape or form, though it's most notable with the roommates:
** Lori and Leni: Both are beautiful, but Lori is rather bossy and abrasive, yet also quite insightful from time to time, while Leni is sweet but incredibly dense.
** Luna and Luan: While both have showbiz aspirations, Luna is rather mellow most of the time when not rocking out while Luan is always her goofy, jokey self. In addition, Luna dresses in purple while Luan dresses in yellow.
** Lynn and Lucy: Lynn is a hyperactive, tomboyish sports nut while Lucy is a poetic, stoic emo girl.
** Lola and Lana: The most obvious case, with girly, beauty obsessed Lola clashing with dirt and grime obsessed Lana.
** And finally super intelligent but cold Lisa is paired with the innocent and cheerful (if also brainy) baby Lily.
* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: Each Loud sister (except Lily) has at least one moment of getting antics fallen on them.
* StalkerWithACrush: All of the girls to Hugh (except baby Lily) in "Study Muffin."
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Most look a lot like their parents since they inherit their hair colors (blonde and brunette). The only exceptions are Lincoln, who has white hair, and Lucy, who has black hair (it's proven that Lucy's natural hair color is blonde in "Back in Black").
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl:
** They all have varying amounts of masculinity and femininity. This best exemplified in "In Tents Debate", where the girly-girls (Lori, Leni, Lucy, Lola, and Lily) want to go to the beach, while the tomboys (Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lana, and Lisa) want to go to an amusement park.
** Another good indicator is hair color. Those who take after their mom (blonde) tend to be more feminine, while those who take after their dad (brunette) are more tomboyish. The only exception to this rule is blonde {{Tomboy}} Lana.
* TomboyWithAGirlyStreak: When all the girls accurately guessed that a girl had the hots for Lincoln (and was communicating through bullying), all the {{Tomboy}}s in the family joined in the {{Squee}}.
* TownGirls:
** Femme: [[PhoneaholicTeenager Lori]], [[BrainlessBeauty Leni]] and [[SpoiledBrat Lola]]
** Butch: [[CoolBigSis Luna]], [[PassionateSportsGirl Lynn]] and [[ThePigPen Lana]].
** Neither: [[PungeonMaster Luan]], [[{{Goth}} Lucy]], [[ChildProdigy Lisa]] and [[BrainyBaby Lily]]
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Pizza, to the point the siblings would fight for the last slice.
* {{Tuckerization}}: With the exception of Leni (who's named after Lennie Small from "Of Mice and Men"), all of Lincoln's sisters are named those Chris Savino knows.
** Lori, Luan, Lynn, Lana and Lisa are named after Chris Savino's five sisters (Savino's the ninth of ten children).
** Luna and Lola were named after Savino's two dachshunds (aka, "wiener dogs").
** "Lucy" and "Lily" were names that Savino and his wife came up with in case they had any daughters (they have three sons, but no daughters).
* VitriolicBestBuds: Lori and Leni, Lola and Lana, Lynn and Lucy.

[[folder:Lincoln Loud]]
[[quoteright:283:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_loud_house_lincoln_loud_1.png]]
[[caption-width-right:283:"Surviving in a big family can be challenging, but it's not impossible."]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Grant Palmer ("Left in the Dark" - "A Fair to Remember"), Collin Dean ("One of the Boys" onward), Sean Ryan Fox (pilot)\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' José Luis Piedra

The middle child and only son in the Loud family, 11-year-old Lincoln is an average boy who constantly has to deal with living in a house with ten sisters.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: He loves comics, manga, video games and sci-fi movies, and can come across as fun-loving and awkward.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Lori often considers him as one.
* AuthorAvatar: Creator/ChrisSavino based Lincoln almost completely on himself as a kid, and is the source of his affinity for comics and manga.
* BatmanGambit: Frequently uses his familiarity with his sisters to pull these.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Not above using trickery and blackmail if he feels his sisters are being unreasonable.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Lincoln is ''very'' protective of his sisters (older and younger, but especially younger). For example --
** Whenever Lana and Lola (who're twins) get into fights, he's the one who typically breaks them up and settles their disputes.
** In "Left in the Dark", he comforts the twins when they're scared of a possible ghost being in the basement. And when Lincoln and his sisters think there really is a ghost, he loudly states he'll protect them and goes to tackle the "ghost".
** In "Sleuth and Consequences", [[spoiler:he takes the fall for Lucy when the family was trying to find out who clogged the toilet.]]
** He and his sisters ''immediately'' end their chore feud in "Chore and Peace" when they think Lily has been consumed by the trash. He spends most of that time frantically looking for Lily--she later turns out to be just fine, as she had been with their parents the entire time.
* BigNo: In general, Lincoln uses this trope whenever things don't go as planned for him.
* BigSisterWorship: Towards Luna.
* BirdsOfAFeather: His crush on Paige in "L is For Love" seems to stem at least partially from the fact she likes video games just like him.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: He frequently speaks to the viewer about what's going on or what he learned.
* ButtMonkey: He is frequently on the receiving end of his sisters' antics. At times, his sisters all gang up on him simply for being the only boy in the family.
* CharacterTics: Anytime he reads a comic book, he takes off all clothing except his underwear.
** This became less evident in later episodes.
* CheerfulChild: A quick-witted and fun-loving kid.
* TheChewToy: Nearly all the misfortunes that befalls him is played for comedy.
* ClassicalAntiHero: His primary motivation is his selfish benefits but he still has a deep sense of morality [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther and loves all of his sisters a lot and isn't afraid to show that]]. He's not above blackmailing Lori to get information about what she did to Leni in Episode "Driving Miss Hazy." He often feels [[JackOfAllStats inadequate]] about his own abilities in comparison to his sisters which in turn often feed into his selfish desires, and he makes plenty of mistakes that cause just as many problems for himself as for others. However, he always strives to better himself and learn from those mistakes, and will take the fall for his actions and even those of others.
* ClosetSublet: His room's actually a converted closet. He doesn't mind though, since it’s still his own room while his sisters all have to share their rooms--plus, it actually seems to be a fairly large closet, as it can fit not just Lincoln and one other person (often times Clyde), but all eleven of the Loud kids with no real problems, as seen in some episodes.
* CoolLoser: Depending on the episode. In "The Green House" he becomes an outcast to his schoolmates for not going green...and still is an outcast at the ending of the episode because all that hard work has made him extremely sweaty and stinky.
* CrazyPrepared: It's shown in "Cover Girls" that he has a trunk under his bed full of sister disguises in case he needs to impersonate any of them, including a split one for being both Lana and Lola at the same time.
* {{Determinator}}: Will go to incredible lengths to fulfill a task once he puts his mind to it. He spent eight months determining where the best spot was to sit in the family car.
* ExhaustedEyeBags: He has these either on the sides of his eyes or below them.
* TheEveryman: Lincoln doesn't have so much personality besides being the protagonist.
* FourthWallObserver: He frequently talks to the viewer about how he survives in such a large and crazy family.
* GracefulLoser: He commonly ends up failing in his exploits, but normally manages to see the positives of the situation.
* HasAType: [[spoiler: Given his [[SecretRelationship status with Ronnie Anne]] and his PrecociousCrush on his substitute teacher, it seems he's got a thing for Latinas and brunettes.]]
* HeroesWantRedheads: Had a crush on a red-haired classmate of his named Cristina in "Making the Case". Eventually subverted, as he doesn't seem to like her anymore, plus [[spoiler:the fact that he is [[SecretRelationship now (secretly) dating Ronnie Anne]].]] That said, he also has a crush on a orange-haired girl named Paige in "L is For Love", which seems to partially stem from their shared love of video games.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Clyde.
* HiddenDepths:
** "Changing the Baby" shows some of Lincoln's favorite past-times are playing chess in the park and collecting coins.
** "Project Loud House" reveals Lincoln to be a better poet than Lucy.
** In "House Music" it turns out he can play the cello.
** "Study Muffin" Lincoln tells us he's usually a good student (when he's not distracted by his hot substitute teacher), and is able to score an A on his test.
** "Pulp Fiction" shows that Lincoln not only is a good enough writer ad artist that he won a comic writing contest, but that he can redo the entire thing in record time.
* {{Hypocrite}}: In the episode, "The Green House" he hoards the electricity just to host a video game tournament while getting his sisters to give up theirs.
* IHaveBrothers: Lincoln is [[MiddleChildSyndrome the middle child]] and [[OutnumberedSibling only son]] of [[MassiveNumberedSiblings eleven kids]], and while he does have typical boyish interests like comic books and video games, most of the "feminine" things that he knows about are related to things that his sisters are interested in (such as Lola's interest in beauty pageants leading Lincoln to know which types of fabric are harder to clean than others), are practical (such as being able to cook) and learning to be kind and sensitive (as shown in "One of the Boys"). However, as shown in "Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru", just because Lincoln has a bunch of sisters, it doesn't automatically make him a "girl expert".
* IJustWantToBeSpecial: In "Making the Case" he wants to win some kind of trophy like most of his sisters did.
* IdenticalGrandson: "Cover Girls" shows that Lincoln didn't just inherit his white hair from his grandfather, but also skin complexion and similar facial features.
* InTouchWithHisFeminineSide: As a result of having so many sisters but no brothers. As demonstrated in "Roughin' It" and "One of the Boys".
* JackOfAllStats: Lincoln acts like this out of his sisters. He is not as good as his sisters in what they do, but he is competent enough to impress, and help them in what they are doing: such as helping Lucy write her poems, being one step ahead of Luan in her pranks, preventing Lisa's experiment from exploding by adding a chemical, and catching Lynn's football in "Project Loud House". He is also the only one Luna complimented when the Loud House siblings were playing instruments in "House Music".
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: At his worst, Lincoln can be extremely selfish and has been known to try and take advantage of his sisters' own hopes for his own gain. However, almost every time he ends up [[JerkassRealization realizing just how badly he screwed up]] and does his best to try and set things right, even if it gets him into trouble in the process. And flaws aside, he's a thoughtful, sensitive, and caring person.
* KiddieKid: Downplayed, but he still has a stuffed rabbit toy named Bun-Bun, which he deeply cares for.
* LaterInstallmentWeirdness: His usual fourth-wall breaks became less prominent as of Season 2, as there are a whole handful of episodes where he doesn't speak to the viewer at all.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The Feminine Boy (has a stuffed rabbit and is InTouchWithHisFeminineSide) to Ronnie's Masculine Girl (a rough and aggressive LovingBully) He shares a similar dynamic as the Feminine Boy with his more tomboyish sisters such as Lynn, Luna and Lana.
* MiddleChildSyndrome: Flat-out placed in this position.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Apparently he inherited it from his grandfather. Several of his baby pictures show that he was in fact born with it.
* NakedPeopleAreFunny: Often seen running around in his briefs. In "Undie Pressure", it's shown that he prefers to read comics in this manner--and, according to Lola, likes to do this on the ''roof''.
* TheOneGuy: The only boy of in a family full of girls.
* OnlySaneMan: At times, most noticeably in "Project Loud House" and "Heavy Meddle". Taken UpToEleven in "Study Muffin", to the point even his own dad is in on obsessively stalking Hugh.
* OutnumberedSibling: [[NotHyperbole Literally]] [[UpToEleven up to eleven]] as Lincoln's siblings outnumber him ten to one.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: In "Making the Case" it's shown he feels he lives in shadows of his 10 sisters because unlike them he had no trophy.
* PuppyDogEyes: He used it to convince Lori to give him free food and arcade tokens in "The Waiting Game."
* SecretRelationship: [[spoiler: With Ronnie Anne. Due to the [[KidsAreCruel non-stop teasing he was receiving because of it]], the two decide it's best to act like they aren't dating.]]
** [[spoiler: He admits this to the audience at the very end of "Back Out There".]]
* TeamChef: He's the one who cooks for his sisters the most, even able to prepare hard-boiled eggs from the pan.
* TerrifiedOfGerms: Seems to be easily grossed out over things such as someone using his toothbrush or dropping something in the toilet. He's usually freaking out if something is gross to him.
* {{Tuckerization}}: Named after E Lincoln Avenue, the street Savino grew up on.
* UnwantedAssistance: His reaction to his sisters in "Heavy Meddle."
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: His insulting of Ronnie Anne prompts Bobby to break up with Lori when he finds out, sending her into an emotional rage where she forces Lincoln to double date with them in order to make things up to them. His initial refusal nearly finds him on the receiving end of a nightstand!
* VocalEvolution: His voice got a bit lower in the second third of Season 1 due to Palmer hitting puberty. By the time Dean took over, his voice returned to its original high pitch, albeit a little whinier.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: His hair is white, while his sisters either have brown or blonde hair (or black for Lucy and she has the excuse of it being dyed), and is not an albino. Although WordOfGod implied it's not his natural color, several of his baby pictures show that it was white even back then.
* YouthfulFreckles: Shares this trait with Luna, Lynn and Clyde.

[[folder:Lori Loud]]
[[quoteright:251:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lori_loud.png]]
[[caption-width-right:251:"How dare you bully our brother! Only we get to do that."]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Catherine Taber\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Fernanda Robles

The oldest of the Loud sisters at 17 years old, Lori takes pride in that fact by being colossally bossy and condescending toward Lincoln and her sisters. She spends most of her time texting to her boyfriend Bobby on her smartphone.
----
* AffectionateNickname: "Babe" from her boyfriend, Bobby.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: She is notorious for being bossy to her siblings, but never fails to repay them for their kindness;
** In "The Waiting Game" she thanks Lincoln profusely for getting her a job at the local pizza arcade, allowing him ''and'' Clyde to enjoy her share of free food and tokens as a thank you to him; she comes by to thank him again when he works her shift so she doesn't miss her high school dance. In "Out On a Limo", she insists Lincoln be allowed to enjoy his free limo ride before they all join him for a turn later. Finally, in "A Fair to Remember" she tells Lincoln he really is a "cool bro" when he helps her and Bobby to get back together.
** She is frequently seen hanging around with Leni and taking selfies with her, in spite of her shared annoyance over Leni's lack of common sense and tendency to raid her wardrobe.
* BabysitterFromHell: Complete with dressing and acting like a dictator in "No Guts, No Glori". Justified since she's trying to prevent the house from becoming even more chaotic while the parents are gone.
* BerserkButton:
** Don't ''ever'' enter her room or mess with her phone if you value your safety.
** And above all, don't ''EVER'' endanger her relationship with Bobby. It could be the last thing you ever do.
* BigSisterBully: Her status as the oldest gives her a feeling of dominance and superiority.
* BracesOfOrthodonticOverkill: In episode "Come Sale Away" it was revealed she used to have braces.
* BrattyTeenageDaughter
* ClingyJealousGirl: "Butterfly Effect" and "Green House" has shown that if Bobby is around any other females without her physical presence she gets pretty aggressive about said female. This includes her own sister, Leni, who was hiding a present for her as a favor for Bobby and disowned her in response (Yes, disowned!) or an inanimate object such as the painting of Mona Lisa.
* ControlFreak: She wants everything to be under her control.
* CoolBigSis: Can be this when she lets go of her own irrational selfishness.
* CrazyPrepared: Her room has a ''keypad lock'' for entry.
* DeadpanSnarker: She likes to make snarky remarks to everyone else when she gets the chance.
* DudeMagnet: Just ask Bobby, Clyde and Carl.
* GamerChick: As shown at the end of "No Guts, No Glori", she can pick up and play a new fighting game with no worries.
* {{Gasshole}}: She farts when nobody's around. If caught, she'll claim it's her shoes making fart-like noises.
* GoodIsNotNice: Lori can be very cross and condescending at times, but she is still a good girl.
* GrumpyBear: Crankier than the rest of her siblings.
* HairTriggerTemper: Not to the level of Lola, though.
* HiddenDepths:
** Her dream job is to be a CEO of a major corporation. She'll also settle for Co-CEO.
** A perfect day for her includes a round of golf.
* {{Hypocrite}}:
** In "Linc or Swim", she accused Lincoln of being selfish for hogging the pool even though she tries to hog it for "senior swim", [[LoopholeAbuse using her status as a high school senior]].
** In "The Green House", she gets jealous when Bobby stands next to the Mona Lisa --''an inanimate object''--, but in "Study Muffin" she openly flirts with Hugh and does not show any remorse about it.
* IJustWantToBeSpecial: Implied in "Driving Miss Hazy" when the other kids teach Leni how to drive. She mentions that she likes being the only Loud sibling who can drive and she feels that her siblings will no longer rely on her if Leni learns how to do it as well.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Not to the extent of Lola, but she can be rather selfish and entitled, especially when it comes to attention from Bobby.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Lori may occasionally be a BigSisterBully, but she makes insightful points when she needs to.
** She accurately guesses that the Loud siblings switching chores would go awry.
** Her tough demeanor when babysitting her siblings was shown to be a good choice, otherwise they all go nuts.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Though she can be a BigSisterBully, she loves every single one of her siblings and she'll come through for them when they need her.
* KarmaHoudini: She hits on Hugh in "Study Muffin" and even takes a picture of his butt while still seeing Bobby and never gets called out on it.
* LargeHam: A large ham in a tall body.
* LovableAlphaBitch: She's a high school senior with a condescending and selfish attitude who still loves her family and will do the right thing.
* MeaningfulName: Her name means "laurel," referring to her image.
* MsFanservice: She wears the most skimpy swimsuit in "Linc or Swim," and in "In Tents Debate" she wears a grass skirt and a coconut bra.
* NotSoAboveItAll: She is the first of the sisters who falls in love with Hugh in "Study Muffin", and makes her sort of a {{hypocrite}}. See ClingyJealousGirl.
* OfficialCouple: With Bobby.
* OnlySaneWoman: Along with Lincoln, [[DependingOnTheWriter usually]].
* PhoneaholicTeenager: If she's not being mean to her siblings (especially Lincoln), she's calling or texting her boyfriend Bobby (or some other friend of hers). She makes up a story to Lincoln about how horrified she was when Lola broke her phone by boiling it on the stove.
* SickeningSweethearts: With Bobby. Lincoln and Ronnie Anne both make fun of them for it.
* TrueBlueFemininity: Wears a blue shirt, blue shoes, and blue eyeshadow.
* ValleyGirl: Acts like more of a modern one. Obsessed with her phone, using "literally" like a comma, (as listed below in "Verbal Tic",) and obsessing over shoes and clothes. She's a bit smarter than the stereotype, though.
* VerbalTic: She seems to say "literally" a lot. Sometimes she uses it properly, but usually not. For example: in "Homespun," when while trying to get ready for a study date with Bobby, she gets trapped in the bathroom and the shower curtains fall on top of her, she loudly exclaims, "This house is literally falling apart!"
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Downplayed, but sometimes she could easily pass for someone in her early twenties.
* YourCheatingHeart: She openly flirts with Hugh in "Study Muffin" and does not show any remorse about it.
* YourMakeupIsRunning: Whenever she cries, her makeup goes down her face.

[[folder:Leni Loud]]
[[quoteright:239:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/leni_loud.png]]
[[caption-width-right:239:"Does anyone know how to turn on this sucky-thingy?"]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Liliana Mumy\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Lupita Real

The second oldest of the Loud sisters at 16 years old, she may not be the brightest of the bunch, but she more than makes up for it in beauty and kindness.
----
* AccidentalMisnaming: Never seems to get Clyde's name right. Lincoln too, when she isn't using his nickname.
* {{Adorkable}}: How goofy and kind she is grants her this status.
* AmbiguousDisorder: Some of her quirks/traits point signs to a learning disability and/or autism (e.g. being LiteralMinded, frequently making raptor hands).
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Partially down to her low intelligence Leni is easily distracted, especially by things she loves like clothes, fashion and make up.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Leni might be the dimmest and the kindest of the Louds but even she can get aggressive, especially if you push her too far.
* BrainlessBeauty: "My favorite color is zebra."
* BuffySpeak: She often talks like this due to not being very smart. Her siblings refer to it as "Leni Speak", and in "Driving Miss Hazy" it turns out that using Leni Speak is the best way to teach her how to drive.
* ButtMonkey: While not to the extent of Lincoln or Clyde, she still qualifies as one owing to her ditziness.
* CloudCuckoolander: Leni is a pretty good example of this.
* CoolBigSis: Towards her younger siblings.
* TheDitz: Can't even ride her [[spoiler: hand-me-downed]] bike when she's young, and not even aware she's tripped to mud after that, though it's been implied that she's smarter than she seems.
* DrivesLikeCrazy: Has failed her driving test a total of 14 times, and as Lori notes, she can't even drive a lawn mower without the girls and Lincoln all resorting to "Leni speak."
* DumbBlonde: There are [[PlentyOfBlondes a lot of blondes]] in this family, but she plays this trope straight since she's the least intelligent out of all of them. She is literally too dumb to walk and chew gum at the same time.
* DumbIsGood: While she is laughably naïve, she's arguably the nicest of the Louds.
* EasilyImpressed: Naturally with generally low intelligence comes pretty low standards and a very naive nature. She called being able to see after she simply opened her eyes a '''''miracle'''''.
* EloquentInTheirNativeTongue: Played with, when Lincoln taught her how to drive. He didn't need to learn a new language, but he needed to learn how to speak in terms a ValleyGirl could understand.
* {{Foil}}: To Lori in terms of behavior and to Lisa in terms of intelligence and looks.
* TheFool: What else can you call someone who's lived up to adolescence with her level of intelligence?
* GogglesDoNothing: Wears shades purely as head decoration. The one time they went over her eyes, she thought she went blind.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: The sweetest of the Loud Kids, whose hair is noticeably a much lighter shade of yellow than her sisters, perhaps making her a platinum blonde.
* HiddenDepths:
** When she's [[LiteralMinded making Lori's bed for a ride to the mall]], she has as Lincoln puts it, "amazing craftsmanship".
** Upon mastering the lawnmower, Leni etches her name into the lawn. Granted, she spells it wrong, but her penmanship is immaculate.
** In "Cheater By The Dozen" she prepares a perfectly-made salmon dish for herself and her siblings, implying she can cook to some extent.
** In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud House" she's also shown to be a handy lockpicker and implies she's aware the others think she's stupid when she reveal this skill.
-->'''Leni:''' What? There's more to my head than just air, you know.
** She exploited a "test drive" so she and Lori could get a car to make a mall run.
** In "L is for Love", it's revealed that despite being obsessed with her own looks, she's not shallow at all, as her crush is Chaz, a fat but kindhearted boy.
* InopportuneVoiceCracking: Her voice squeaks on a regular occurrence.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Due to her low intelligence making her rather gullible and innocent in nature, she doesn't really tend to do any troublesome acts, like releasing the lobsters in a market, with any malicious intention.
* KindheartedSimpleton: Leni is the nicest and sweetest member of the Loud family; however she really isn’t that bright.
* LikeIsLikeAComma: Her most annoying habit is overusing the word "like".
* LiteralMinded: It's one of her main quirks, it seems.
** In "Driving Miss Hazy", when Lori tells her to make her bed in exchange for a ride to the mall, Leni actually makes Lori a new bed out of wood, entirely from scratch.
** In "House Music", when Luna makes Leni a backup singer, Leni takes that to mean singing "backup" repeatedly. Then, when Luna tells her to sing what's on the page of the lyric book, Leni starts singing "what's on the page" repeatedly as well.
** In "Come Sale Away", when her family is having a garage sale, she literally tries to sell the garage.
* MeaningfulName: Her name means "gentle". According to WordOfGod, she's also named after Lennie from ''Literature/OfMiceAndMen'', another character who's very kind but not very intelligent and rather gentle as well, at least when he's not harming people by accident.
* MsFanservice: In "Linc or Swim" she has the second most skimpy swimsuit and she also wears a grass skirt and coconut bra in "In Tents Debate"
* NiceGirl: While she could contend with Lori thanks to being the second-oldest, she prefers being a kind-hearted girl.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Implied. She's actually smart enough to know ''how'' to unlock the briefcase in "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud House", and when her sisters-and Lincoln-are perplexed at this, she tells them her head isn't just filled with air.
* OnlySaneWoman: In "One Flu Over the Loud House", she doesn't want to join her uninfected siblings' plan to escape from her flu-ridden sisters, instead opting to stay and care for her sick family. She even calls out Lincoln for treating them like lesser beings because of their condition.
%%* OutOfFocus: She's one of the sisters with the least amount of focus. While most of her sisters get at least two episodes (Lori, Luan), three (the twins), or several more episodes to showcase their characters in more depth, Leni so far has only two such episodes. Every other time, she's either relegated to a voiceless cameo or a quick joke.
* ThePollyanna: Unless something upsets her, Leni is always happy-go-lucky.
* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: So far she's been used as Lisa's guinea pig twice, once in a flashback from "Left in the Dark" where her head is swollen and has pink spots all over her face. Then in "Project Loud House", Lisa gives her an ointment that turns her skin blue and almost gave her a bloating potion but was intercepted by Lincoln.
** Another RunningGag in the series is her plowing into walls face first
* SuddenIntelligence: She becomes even smarter than Lisa after being hit on the head with a shelf and several pairs of shoes in "Butterfly Effect", [[spoiler:though this is later revealed to be all in Lincoln's head at the end of the episode.]]
* SuperGullible: To say that she's easy to fool would be an ''understatement''. [[ScrewySquirrel Luan]] loves to [[ExploitedTrope exploit]] this for her pranks.
* TomboyishName: While definitely ''not'' a tomboy, she is the only sister in the house to have a ''guy-sounding'' name [[DontExplainTheJoke (Leni sounds like Lenny)]].
* TooDumbToLive: Notoriously so. Thankfully, she has just as much dumb luck to make up for it.
* ValleyGirl: Lincoln has to resort to using "Leni-speak" in order to teach her how to drive.
* VerbalTic: She tends to say "like" a lot. In "Undie Pressure", her challenge (similar to the rest of her sisters) is not to say "like." [[spoiler: She fails quickly.]]
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: She hates spiders, which is a plot point in "Along Came a Sister".

[[folder:Luna Loud]]

[[caption-width-right:239:"GOODNIGHT, LOUD HOUSE!"]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Creator/NikaFutterman\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Alicia Barragán

The third-from-oldest of the Loud sisters, 15-year-old Luna is a guitarist with dreams of being a rock star.
----
* BiTheWay: Starts as AmbiguouslyBi, she falls head over heels for Hugh just like her sisters, but when Lincoln reveals his substitute teacher is Ms. Di Martino, she's the only one of the sisters who calls her "hot". In "Out on a Limo", she calls the woman through the drive-thru speaker "luv". It becomes less ambiguous in "L is for Love" when [[spoiler: her crush, Sam, turns out to be a girl.]]
* BoyishShortHair: Luna sports a pixie cut and is one of the more tomboyish of the Loud girls. To drive it home, before she came to love rock and roll [[LongHairIsFeminine she used to let her hair grow out]].
* BriefAccentImitation: She sometimes speaks in a British accent, probably to imitate the British rock stars she loves. Her challenge in "Undie Pressure" is not to do this. She does well [[spoiler:until she discovers there's a contest featuring who can do the best British accent.]]
* BrokenAce: She's good at playing music. Not so much when it comes to composing it as seen in "House Music".
* CoolBigSis: Fits this the bet among the older Loud siblings due to her generally cool and kind nature, in comparison to the kind but dull Leni and the more abrasive Lori.
* CoolBike: Modified Leni's old bike into a chopper complete with a side-car before passing it along to Luan.
* {{Gayngst}}: [[DownplayedTrope Kinda sort of possibly]], [[spoiler: In "L for Love" Luna shows a lot of uncertainty about whether her crush Sam would even like her, but its not revealed that Sam is a girl until the end of the episode. The episode is ambigiuous on if Luna's anxiety is specficially because they may be [[IncompatibleOrientation "incompatible" in orientation]] or the general insecurity that some may have toward their crushes in general.]]
* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Inverted. She wears purple, but is more tomboyish than graceful.
* GratuitousEnglish: In the italian dub, she usually greets Lincoln with "brother".
* HiddenDepths: Who would have thought that a wild future rock star like her could also play classical violin?
* InkSuitActor: She does look a bit like [[https://twitter.com/nfutterman/status/602110341275787265 Nika Futterman.]]
* LargeHam: Especially when she is rocking out.
* LoonyFan: To the point she ended up on the news for chasing after Mick Swagger for a lock of his hair.
* ManiacTongue: She usually flails her tongue when rocking out.
* MeaningfulName: Her name is Spanish for "moon", which also comes from the Pink Floyd album, "Dark Side of the Moon", referring to her rock star image.
** In the Polish dub, her name is changed to Harmonia, with the nickname "Harma", derived from "harmony", an appropriately musical name if not entirely in keeping with her primary style of music.
* MotorMouth: Prone to this.
* NiceGirl: She is the second-nicest out of the Loud ladies (after Leni) and Lincoln usually gets along with her the best.
* NoIndoorVoice: She's considered the loudest of the Louds.
* RockersSmashGuitars: She does this in "The Loudest Yard" after playing an electric guitar rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" in a nod to Music/JimiHendrix.
** In a flashback in "Hand-Me-Downer", she can be heard doing this off-screen before giving Lincoln the broken guitar.
* TheRockStar: More often than not she's rocking out on her guitar.
* {{Tomboy}}: Luna is an aspiring rock star.
* TomboyishVoice: She loves rocking out on her electric guitar and aspires to be a rock star, which aren't particularly feminine activities, and she has a deep and raspy androgynous voice courtesy of Creator/NikaFutterman.
* TooDumbToLive: Normally, Luna is among the more sensible of the Loud siblings, and possesses at least average intelligence. However, she can get so caught up rocking out that she does things that are incredibly stupid, for example trying to stage dive people who clearly can’t hold her weight, such as the six year olds at Lola and Lana’s kid’s concert in 'Bro’s to Rock' and Lily in 'Changing the Baby'.
* TotallyRadical: Often talks like this.
* VerbalTic: Says "dude" a lot even if she's talking to one of her sisters.
* VocalDissonance: Despite being 15 years old, she has a rather raspy, croaky voice.
* WaxingLyrical: Quite a few of her lines are references to songs.
* YouthfulFreckles: To emphasize that she is one of the more energetic Loud sisters.

[[caption-width-right:293:"Get it?"]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Cristina Pucelli\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Leyla Rangel

The fourth-from-oldest of the Loud sisters, 14-year-old Luan has a fondness for comedy and practical jokes.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: Her love for lame puns gives her this status.
* AmbiguousDisorder:
** Some scenes, and especially the episode ''April Fools Rules'', show that her obsession with pranks can become very extreme, to the point that you may wonder if it's not a psychosis.
** She talks with Mr. Coconuts like she would with a real person in "Lock N' Loud", while still doing his voice too, which may suggest that the dummy isn't alive, but is her SplitPersonality. Indeed, Mr. Coconuts seems to have an autonomous personality, as she seems surprised to find that he got along fine with Edwin's bust.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: She plays it straight to her older siblings and she inverts it to her younger siblings.
* BerserkButton: Stealing her thunder is DEFINITELY not a good idea.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's kind and perky, but you don't wanna mess with her.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: She's not afraid to show off her angry side if someone messes with her.
** Should you be on the Loud premises on April Fools Day, then may God have mercy on your soul.
* BlackComedy: She mentions that she likes this kind of humor.
* BracesOfOrthodonticOverkill: Downplayed. Luan has braces, but they're not the exaggerated headgear type.
* BucketBoobyTrap: Tries this repeatedly in "Project Loud House", though Lincoln stops her every time to her mounting frustration. [[spoiler: She finally succeeds with Lincoln's teacher. ]]
* CatchPhrase: "Get it?"
* CloudCuckoolander: Luan is very strange.
* DemonicDummy: Her old dummy Col. Crackers. Also, [[MaybeMagicMaybeMundane maybe]], her current one Mr. Coconuts.
* EveryoneHasStandards:
** While she enjoys filming and laughing at other people’s humiliation, she would never post an embarrassing video on the web without their permission.
** She loves lame jokes, but she doesn't like knock-knock jokes.
* GenkiGirl: She's extremely energetic and cheerful.
* HairAntennae: She has two long hair strands sticking up from the middle of her forehead, perfectly suiting her quirky nature.
* HeroicComedicSociopath: She becomes this when April Fool's Day comes; she becomes ''[[TheSociopath utterly ruthless]]'' on this day.
* TheHyena: She laughs a lot at her own jokes.
* LamePunReaction: Her siblings often moan at her jokes.
* LargeHam: Due to being a comedian.
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: At one point, she makes a bad pun while working her {{Ventriloquism}} act with Mr Coconuts. The dummy actually [[LamePunReaction turns its head]] and shoots her a DeathGlare, but the show never clarifies whether or not the thing is truly alive. She talks with Mr. Coconuts like she would with a real person in "Lock N' Loud", but she's still doing his voice too, which may suggest that the dummy isn't alive, but is her SplitPersonality.
** Either, she can become invisible at will, or she's REALLY good at body painting as seen in a scene in "No Guts, No Glori"
* MeaningfulName: Her name means "uprising".
* NiceGirl: She loves making people happy for free and generally is cheerful and friendly.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: A mild case, but she's the only Loud sister with curved eyelashes.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Downplayed, but if she was slightly shorter, she could easily pass for a kid around Lincoln's age.
* ThePrankster: She loves to pull practical jokes on people without warning. Her favorite methods seem to be the BucketBoobyTrap and the PieInTheFace. This is taken UpToEleven on April Fools Day, when she sets up an insane amount of pranks throughout the house.
* PungeonMaster: If she says something, it'll most likely be a pun, to her siblings' annoyance.
* ScrewySquirrel: Of the practical jokes variety. She loves pulling gags on others for amusement, but they're rarely if ever in mean spirit... except on April Fools Day, that is, when she becomes a relentless, remorseless psycho of a joker.
* SharedFamilyQuirks: She gets her fondness for puns from Lynn Sr.
* TheSociopath: She becomes this only on April Fool's Day. To be fair, given her erratic personality, she probably has some sort of MediumAwareness that makes her realize no one could really get harmed from her actions.
* SuddenlyFluentInGibberish: Translates Lily's 'house story' in "Homespun"
* TheTrickster: She lives to pull pranks on others.
* {{Ventriloquism}}: She has a dummy named Mr. Coconuts. She also gave Lincoln her old one, Col. Crackers. In "Changing The Baby", she attempted to use Lily as a dummy.

[[folder:Lynn Loud Jr.]]
[[quoteright:342:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lynn_loud.png]]
[[caption-width-right:342: "DUTCH OVEN!"]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Jessica [=DiCicco=]\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Montserrat Mendoza

The fifth-from-oldest of the Loud sisters at 13 years old, Lynn is very energetic and always up for fun.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: Has an energetic demeanor and a passion for sports.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Although she tires of Lucy's brooding and gloomy nature, she loves her all the same, even shown to enjoy Lucy's poetry after the two have a massive falling out in "Space Invader". In this same episode, she is thrilled when they make up. She also tends to roughhouse with Lincoln more than any of the other sisters, but mostly because she simply loves playing with him and like the others will always stick up for him when needed.
* BarbieDollAnatomy: {{Averted}} in one of Lincoln's old pictures in "The Whole Picture", which shows him and Lynn in the bathtub together as toddlers and Lynn's bare chest and nipples are clearly on display.
* BigEater: Implied to be one; she loves her meatball grinders, having eaten them for ten days in a row in "Sleuth or Consequences". Also busily wolfing down a burger out of nowhere while her siblings discuss Lola in "A Tattler's Tale".
* TheBigGuy: Lynn is undisputedly the most physical of the Loud siblings. She also practices kickboxing and enjoys football and Mexican wrestling.
* BigSisterBully: Sometimes to Lincoln. Among all his sisters, she is the quickest to use threats and physical violence to get him to do what she wants.
* CompetitionFreak: Any sporting competition she will not accept anything other than her being the best. Even if the competition only exists in her mind, she will still not stop until she has won.
* CoolBike: Has one that becomes a plot point in "Hand-Me Downer" [[spoiler: Turns out it's a hand me down she modified herself.]]
* CuteBruiser: As stated before, she's the most physical out of the Louds. And she's probably the cutest out of all the Louds (barring Lily).
* DumbJock: Lincoln believes that if Lisa gives up tutoring Lynn, she'll flunk miserably in all of her classes.
* DumbMuscle: Lynn is apparently not very good at academia, if Lincoln is to be believed, however, she is the most athletic and physical of all the Loud siblings. See PintSizedPowerhouse.
* {{Fartillery}}: She can execute a rather powerful Dutch oven much to Lincoln's dismay.
* {{Gasshole}}: She's usually very flatulent and loves giving Dutch ovens (especially to Lincoln)... [[{{Unishment}} and for some reason likes receiving them as well]].
* GenkiGirl: She needs all that energy to play sports as often as she does.
* HairTriggerTemper: She's pretty aggressive.
* HiddenDepths: She's quite mechanically gifted it turns out [[spoiler: modifying the family bike into a top of the line sports bike.]]
* KnightTemplarBigSister: Despite bullying Lincoln she doesn't hesitates to beat those who bullies Lincoln.
* JerkJock: She does love her family and is normally friendly. However, she is among the more aggressive siblings, as she loves roughhousing others and it’s really not a good idea to get her angry.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's one of the more aggressive of the Loud siblings, but she truly loves them and will stick up for them all the same.
* TheLadette: Tomboyish and aggressive, and it's not many gals who can execute a perfect [[{{Gasshole}} Dutch oven]].
* LargeHam: Not as much as Lola, though, but still can ham it up pretty good.
* LeParkour: She's a surprisingly skilled Traceuse, as shown in one episode.
* LovableJock: Even though she does veer into the JerkJock category at times, she is still a friendly and outgoing girl and her heart is in the right place.
* MusclesAreMeaningless: Has a fairly lanky and slender body type despite all of her training. Can and will excel at every sport known to man and is able to grapple with people twice her size with ease if needed.
* OlderThanTheyLook: She could easily pass as someone around Lincoln's or even Lucy's age despite being 13.
* PassionateSportsGirl: She ''loves'' all kinds of sports, being on a number of sports teams at school.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Despite her small size, she can causally lift and carry another person who is about the same size as her, with one hand.
* PottyEmergency: For some reason, she believes it's bad luck to use the bathroom in any capacity before a game, leading to her inflicting this trope on her entire team by making them all hold it in for ''days''. She seems to be the only one not bothered by it.
* PuppyDogEyes: She used it to convince Lincoln to let her share a room with him in "Space Invader".
* RedIsHeroic: Generally wears red.
* RedIsViolent: Downplayed. Her signature color is red, and she's the roughest of the family.
* TeensAreShort: She's thirteen, but you wouldn't be able to tell from her height. She's about the same height as Lincoln.
* {{Tomboy}}: Arguably the most tomboyish out of the sisters.
* TomboyishPonytail: Wears her hair in a ponytail and she's the most tomboyish of the Loud sisters, loving pretty much all kinds of sports.
* TomboyishVoice: She has a rather deep and boyish voice, and she's the more masculine of the Loud girls.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Meatball grinders.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: One of her many suggestions to take care of Lincoln's bully in "Heavy Meddle" was a Camel Clutch.
* YouthfulFreckles: She spends a lot of time outdoors playing sports, which are probably how she got them.

[[folder:Lucy Loud]]
[[quoteright:304:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lucy_loud.png]]
[[caption-width-right:304:You forgot me.]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Jessica [=DiCicco=]\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Mireya Mendoza

The fourth-from-youngest of the Loud sisters, 8-year-old Lucy is a gloomy goth girl with an interest in Gothic poetry.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: In ''Back in Black'', where she develops a crush on Rocky and acts incredibly awkward around him. Her trying to act like a normal girl is even better.
* AloofBigSister: Inverted to her older siblings and played straight to her younger siblings. She's rather distant and reserved.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Has almost nothing in common with Lynn, but still misses her company whenever they argue, admitting to being unable to sleep without her nearby tossing a ball around in "Space Invader".
** She most often smiles when Lincoln, who is often creeped out by her, does something for her and the others, and usually repays his kindness such as when she made a comic book for him for standing up for her in "Sleuth or Consequences". In "Suite and Sour", she's happy to go ghost hunting with him.
* BigBrotherWorship: Downplayed. While she has her own conflicts with Lincoln and will never hesitate to call him out when he messes up, Lucy does on occasion display a level of respect and admiration for her older brother, for example going solely to him for his opinion upon her poems and admiring his thick skin.
* BlindingBangs: Her hair [[HiddenEyes conceals her eyes]].
* BoyMeetsGhoul: Lucy has a crush on Edwin, a vampire character in ''Vampires of Melancholia''.
* TheComicallySerious: She's TheStoic in a house full of people with extreme reactions. That's the joke.
* CreepyChild: She voted to spend their vacation at the beach in hopes of a shark attack. When Lincoln invited a friend over for a sleepover, she asked said friend if he would volunteer to be a corpse for a casket she was making. This scares the friend away. Finally, she suggested buying twin burial plots for their parents' anniversary, reasoning "Nothing says romance like eternity". And her favorite winter game is "Corpsicle", suggesting the only way to win is to catch ''hypothermia''.
* CatchPhrase: [[SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud "Sigh"]].
* CreepyMonotone: She usually speaks with this tone of voice from time to time.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite her gloomy demeanor, she's arguably one of the sisters Lincoln gets on with the most.
* DeadpanSnarker: Her standard response to her family’s antics is generally sarcasm or general wit told in the most unemotional way possible.
* DullSurprise: Rarely fazed and even when she is, she generally just says "Gasp!" with a slightly less monocord voice.
** Also noteworthy is whenever she screams, her voice goes no higher than how it normally sounds.
* TheEeyore: She's not a very cheerful person, and she often acts gloomy.
* {{Emo}}: Has black hair, emotionless, and stoic.
* EmotionlessGirl: She's definitely got emotions, it's just that she doesn't emote that much, her eyes are hidden which means they can't be used as a visual indicator for what she's feeling, nor does she have much in the way of body language.
* {{Goth}}: She's very gloomy, dresses in all black, and takes an interest in the morbid and otherworldly. She's apparently friends with many ghosts, conducts practice funerals in her spare time, and she frequently reads and writes depressing poetry.
* HiddenDepths:
** Admits that even she needs a break from the dark and gloomy every once in a while, and is secretly a fan of the extremely girly Princess Pony series, which even Lola, the most girly girl of the ten sisters, doesn't like.
** Also despite her seemingly casual disregard for everything, she admits that she couldn’t cope with her siblings teasing the way Lincoln can, and sometimes implies she is somewhat insecure and lonely.
* IronicName: Her name means "light"; ironically, she's a dark goth.
* JerkassFacade: She can come across as being aloof at times, but she truly is a NiceGirl.
* NiceGirl: Love for creepy things aside, Lucy is one of the friendlier Loud sisters.
* NightmareFetishist: When Lincoln asks if she wants to go ghost-hunting with him, Lucy tells him that the ghosts are her friends.
* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: Her morbid interests and OffscreenTeleportation tends to scare her siblings.
* NotSoDifferent: She's secretly a fan of ''Princess Pony'', which she reads whenever she tires of her gloomier interests. She also squeals in delight when she and the other sisters believe Lincoln has a girlfriend, and goes as ga-ga as the other girls over Lincoln's tutor, Hugh.
** Shown in full in "Back In Black", where she develops a crush on a boy and goes so far as to try on makeup and her sister's dresses to try to get his attention, and this is ''before'' her sisters find out what she's up to and try to help her out. It turns out Lucy actually wishes to meet someone who understands her interests, and is surprised when her crush actually likes her normal self.
* NotSoStoic: She can get angry and happy, and still look stoic. Can be this when Lisa, the less stoic Loud sister, isn't.
* OffscreenTeleportation: She often appears behind her siblings when they least expect it, which freaks them out every time.
* PerpetualFrowner: She doesn't smile much.
* RavenHairIvorySkin: Though considering everyone else in the family has either blond or brown hair (Except Lincoln, who has white hair), hers is most likely dyed. It's eventually revealed to be blonde in "Back In Black".
* SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud: Instead of sighing, she often says the word "sigh" out loud, and has said "groan" at least once.
* SociallyAwkwardHero: She is quite the awkward one.
* TheStoic: She rarely expresses any emotion besides sadness.
* {{Tarot Cards}}: Has proven scarily adept at tarot card readings (Flip's business [[NonFatalExplosions "booming"]], Lori "taking a long trip" on a oil slick into garbage, Luan getting "blown away" by an air hose, etc.), though Lucy herself {{lampshades}} in "Raw Deal" that the cards' interpretations should be taken more literally than figuratively.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Blood pudding.
* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Nothing compared to Lola and Lucy is generally harmless, but her fascination with the morbid could be seen as such.
* WhenSheSmiles: When she does smile, it's rather cute.

[[caption-width-right:350:Hey, Lincoln, check out my mud pie! It's nice and squishy!]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Creator/GreyDeLisle\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Karen Vallejo

In stark contrast to her twin Lola, 6-year-old Lana is a fancier of all things yucky.
----
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Usually this to Lincoln due to being messy.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: She and [[PolarOppositeTwins Lola]] can get along sometimes like practicing to be hall monitors in "Get the Message".
** They both cry about a basement ghost in "Left in the Dark".
** They're both fascinated by Frank, Lincoln's class tarantula.
** Lola allows Lana to keep the crown she won at a beauty pageant after she poses as her, due to her managing to win despite not acting like a girl.
** "Patching Things Up" is basically an episode devoted to show that, in spite of their differences, the twins are very close to each other. They end up [[spoiler:deliberately failing their final badge tests in the Bluebell Scouts trials so one of them wouldn't have to be in the Bluebells without the other]].
** They dance and have fun together during the party in "Party Down".
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Lana is nice, though she is no pushover.
* BigLittleSister: She's a few minutes older than her twin sister Lola but Lola is a little taller than she is. Though that's probably because the latter wears high heels.
* BlueIsHeroic: She wears denim blue, in contrast to Lola's feminine pink.
* ChildishToothGap: Lana is missing her two front teeth.
* CrazyPrepared: As a handyman, she always has her tools on her person, even packing a ''snow shovel'' inside her dress in "Toads and Tiaras" even though it was not winter. She also had a stash of wood ready for Lincoln to board up his room during Luan's rampage in "April Fools Rules"; her recommendation is mahogany.
* EveryoneHasStandards: When Lincoln offers her a peanut butter and sauerkraut sandwich, she refuses, saying that's too gross even for her.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Will happily eat discarded food from either the trash or the ground, as well as live bugs and worms. She will even opt to catch fish with her bare hands just so she can eat the worms herself.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Her Q&A states she wants to be a plumber/veterinarian/steam fitter, her super power of choice is talking to animals, and part of her perfect day includes saving an animal from a tree and her chore is cleaning up after the pets.
* {{Gasshole}}: As revealed by Lola in "Brawl in the Family", she often sleep-farts so loudly that it blocks the sound of Lola's snoring.
* GirlishPigtails: Though she's not girly at all.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She's blonde and the nicer one of the twins.
* HotBlooded: Lana gets pumped up quickly.
* IronicName: Her name means "attractive" or "peaceful", which she is in fact, not.
* TheLadette: What with her being a {{Tomboy}}.
* MrFixIt: In some ways shown to be a better handyperson than Dad, willing to deal with messier jobs.
* NeverBareheaded: She's almost never seen without a hat on her head, mostly her red baseball cap. When she has to wear another, she wears it over her current one, as shown when she wore tiaras over her hat. She even wears her hat to bed.
** The only times so far she was seen bareheaded was in a picture at the start of the pilot short, and throughout much of "Toads and Tiaras".
* NiceGirl: Typically very kind and fun-loving despite her rough and messy manner, and much more laid back compared to Lola. One of the ways Lola and her are PolarOppositeTwins.
* NiceHat: A red baseball cap.
* NoseNuggets: She's a nose-picker.
* OralFixation: She really loves her bubble gum. So much that she'll even chew old pieces that she dug out of the garbage. Then again, she likes digging through the garbage in general, so maybe that part is more indicative of her messiness than her love of gum.
* PerpetualSmiler: You hardly ever see her frown.
* ThePigPen: Again, she likes digging through garbage. Cleanliness is not high on her priorities list.
* PolarOppositeTwins: With Lola, being the mess-obsessed tomboy to Lola's beauty-obsessed girly girl. This proves to be an obstacle when she attempts to pose as Lola in a beauty pageant.
* SheCleansUpNicely: In "Toads and Tiaras", while impersonating Lola at a beauty pageant, she dons one of her sister's gowns and does another hairstyle. She actually looks gorgeous. Even she ends up admitting that she kinda likes the "sparkly towel".
* {{Tomboy}}: [[CaptainObvious Duh]].
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The [[ThePigPen dirt-loving]] Tomboy to Lola's Girly Girl.
* TomboyishBaseballCap: Wears a backwards baseball cap, and she's the [[TomboyAndGirlyGirl tomboy to Lola's girly girl]].
* TomboyishVoice: Her voice is rather raspy and boyish, especially when compared to [[GirlyGirl Lola]].
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Snot and ABC gum.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: She's scared of heights.
* WrenchWench: She loves operating heavy machinery. The opening song even has her causing a flood with a wrench! She also knows a lot about cars and their inner workings despite the fact that she won't be able to legally drive one for a decade.

[[folder:Lola Loud]]
[[quoteright:316:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lola_loud.png]]
[[caption-width-right:316:I'm telling Mom/Dad!]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Creator/GreyDeLisle\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Karen Vallejo

6-year-old Lola is a dainty, bratty fashionista who dresses in pageant attire and regularly competes in beauty pageants.
----
* AmbidextrousSprite: Her side swept bangs tend to switch their direction often.
* AmbiguousDisorder: She tends to lash out at people for petty offenses, even ones that aren't aimed at her, in a very distressing manner. Whatever the case, it's ''very'' indicative that she might be showing early signs of childhood antisocial personality disorder.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: She is usually this to Lincoln due to blackmailing.
* TheAtoner: Becomes this in "A Tattler's Tale" when she blackmails all her siblings into spending time with her by threatening to spill their secrets, only to ''go to her parents and take the fall for all of them'' when they threaten to spill hers, realizing she hadn't earned their trust and instead chose to work for it. [[spoiler: It works and she's finally allowed to join their secret club meets.]]
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Pretty things like glitter apparently trigger this reaction from her.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: She and [[PolarOppositeTwins Lana]] can get along sometimes like practicing to be hall monitors in "Get the Message".
** They both cry about a basement ghost in "Left in the Dark".
** They both like Frank, Lincoln's class tarantula.
** When Lana poses as her and wins a beauty pageant despite acting like herself instead of Lola, she allows her to keep the crown that she won.
* AxCrazy: She becomes this when pushed to the point of anger. So look out.
* BigLittleSister: A few minutes younger than Lana, but is just a bit taller than her. This is because she wears high heels. This seems to be [[ZigZaggingTrope zigzagged]], as sometimes [[YourSizeMayVary she'll be taller than Lana or the same height as her]].
* BigSisterBully: Inverted, she's a little sister bully to her older siblings. She bosses them around and yells at them for small things.
* BrattyHalfPint: She is short tempered, rude, and demanding.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: The ending of "A Tattler's Tale" has her being the first sister to talk to the audience.
* ChildishToothGap: Lola is missing her two front teeth.
* CoolCrown: She usually wears a tiara on her head.
* CreepyChild: ''GOOD LORD''. Lola most often lashes out at her siblings, but "Toads and Tiaras" '''takes the cake'''.
* CuteAndPsycho: ''DON'T'' piss her off, or you'll regret doing so for the rest of your life.
* TheDeterminator: Shown in full during the bet in "Undie Pressure".
* DramaQueen: Highly dramatic and hammy.
* TheDreaded: The Loud siblings try to avoid making her upset. The [[spoiler:possibly fake]] stories in "Sounds of Silence" demonstrate why.
* EnfantTerrible: Though Lily (whose a baby) is in fact younger than her, she is one of the younger Louds and is also very aggressive. A few examples can be found on [[NightmareFuel/TheLoudHouse this show's Nightmare Fuel page]].
* EveryoneHasStandards: She does have her limits when it comes to being girly, as she feels ''Princess Pony'' is too much even for her to stomach.
** She's also somewhat able to tell when her antics have crossed the line and is generally remorseful once she realizes this.
* {{Expy}}: Of Brianna Buttowski from ''WesternAnimation/KickButtowski'' and Sarah from ''WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy''.
* FalseTeethTomfoolery: Occasionally wears a retainer with false front teeth, like when she's competing in a pageant.
* {{Gasshole}}: As shown in "Come Sale Away", she is apparently the best burper in the family.
* GirlsLoveStuffedAnimals: Has a good number of stuffed animals in her and Lana's bedroom.
* GirlyGirl: [[CaptainObvious Um, yeah]].
* GirlyGirlWithATomboyStreak: Lola's a girly girl who thinks Lincoln's class tarantula is cute. Also, despite being so girly, she isn't interested in the Princess Pony series since [[EveryoneHasStandards even she has standards]]. She also won the family BurpingContest and was quite proud of herself for it.
* HairTriggerTemper: Lola really isn’t that difficult to set off, especially if you interfere with her possessions or pageant career. When she gets angry the results aren’t pretty. All the other Loud siblings know to avoid making her mad.
* HeroicComedicSociopath: Lola can be this at times.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Justified because she's only six. However, she's selfish ''even by the standards of most kids her age.''
* {{Jerkass}}: At her worst, she can be very nasty and vindictive, as seen in "Undie Pressure" and "Sound of Silence".
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Sometimes; her siblings tend to bring out the best in her just as much as they bring out her worst.
** She actually thanks Lincoln for various small things like the tea party snacks in "Left in the Dark" and solving disputes between her and Lana in "Project Loud House"
** She genuinely feels sorrowful for the "death" of Frank, going so far as to scold Cliff and Lana for disrespectfully coughing up hairballs Frank's "funeral" and picking up said hairball in "Along Came a Sister".
** And she [[spoiler: buys Lincoln the pair of cozy underwear he asked for if he won the bet and releases him from his end of the bet, realizing its unfair for him to give up his annoying habit while the others didn't.]] in "Undie Pressure".
** JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Though there are times where she has either selfish motives.
* LargeHam: Perhaps the biggest one among the Loud siblings, owed in no small part to her fierce temper.
* LightIsNotGood: She's blonde and wears a pink dress, but not so nice.
* LongHairIsFeminine: Lola's down hair separates herself from her pigtailed twin Lana.
* MeaningfulName: Her name means "sorrow", which kinda refers to the fact she's spoiled.
* NeverBareheaded: Like Lana, she almost never takes off her tiara.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Literally everything she owns is pink.
* PolarOppositeTwins: With Lana, being the beauty-obsessed girly girl to Lana's mess-obsessed tomboy.
* PrincessPhase: Lola is clearly going through hers, since she dresses up like a princess with a long pink dress, sash and tiara.
* SlasherSmile: This was a running gag in "Sound of Silence".
* SmallNameBigEgo: Her Q&A answer for the best thing about having several siblings is they're lucky to have her.
* TheSociopath: See "April Fools Rule", "Loudest Yard", "Sound of Silence", "Tattler's Tale", and "Undie Pressure".
* SpoiledBrat: While we haven't seen any evidence that the Loud parents spoil her, she still comes across as this, since she's the one who's most determined to get her way and gets angry when she doesn't.
* TheStoolPigeon: As the above quote suggests, her first response when one of her siblings does something wrong is usually threatening to tell their parents.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Downplayed. She is not EVIL and she [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold has nicer moments]], but she is the meanest and most vicious of the Loud siblings.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Girly Girl (loves [[PinkMeansFeminine pink]] and likes stuffed toys) to Lana's Tomboy.
* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Her Q&A says her idea of a perfect day involves [[TheSociopath world domination]].
** According to a line of hers in "April Fools Rules", she occasionally watches ''mob movies''. [[FridgeBrilliance May actually explain where she got the idea to break Lincoln's leg with her ''car'']].
* {{Wrath}}: Best known for having a formidable rage, especially when her siblings gets on her bad side.
* YourSizeMayVary: Sometimes she's [[BigLittleSister taller than Lana]], while other times she's the same height as her.

[[folder:Lisa Loud]]
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lisa_loud.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:YouSayTomato, I say solanum lycopersicum.]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Creator/LaraJillMiller\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin America)''' Creator/AlondraHidalgo

The second youngest of the Loud sisters at 4 years old, Lisa is a prodigy who is usually invested in research, projects, and experiments.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: Yes, she is a genius, but she is still a dorky and cute 4-year old whose experiments tend to backfire. She is especially this when she shows her sillier side.
%%* BewareTheHonestOnes
* BlackBeadEyes: Whenever she's seen without her glasses such as in "Picture Perfect".
* BlindWithoutEm: She cannot see without her huge glasses, as revealed in "Picture Perfect". She actually performs [[SelfSurgery laser eye surgery on herself]] in "Making the Grade" to remove the problem, but goes back to wearing glasses at the end, presumably because she likes the look despite no longer needing them.
* BluntYes: Whenever using her BrutalHonesty. This is a flaw that she can't help having.
* BrainyBrunette: She has brown hair and is the smartest of all the Louds.
* BrutalHonesty: Lisa does not mince words. It is impossible for her to keep secrets.
* CharacterTics: [[TheUnsmile Giving a forced smile]] whenever she lies.
* ChildProdigy: ExaggeratedTrope--at only four years old (a year before most children start Kindergarten), Lisa has already finished school up through getting a doctorate degree. However, "Making the Grade" shows that she attends kindergarten as anybody of her age.
* TheComicallySerious: So stoic that it's funny.
* CrazyPrepared: Being a genius, she seems to have something on hand for virtually anything; even making an underground ''bunker'' to keep Luan away in "April Fools Rules".
* DeadpanSnarker: She is constantly deadpan to go with her unemotional habits, and likewise speaks sarcasm as if it was a second language.
* DitzyGenius: Between doing taxes for her parents, giving university lectures, and owning a Nobel Prize, Lisa's academic finesse cannot be questioned. But for all her accomplishment in book smarts, she's a bit lacking in mundane sense. She fails to see why experimenting on a 1-year-old baby would be a bad idea and her experiments often fail spectacularly over trivial mistakes. She's basically [[WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory a female Dexter in this regard]].
* EmotionlessGirl: She speaks with hardly any sign of emotions and gets emotional in very special cases.
* {{Expy}}: Between her being a ChildProdigy and a DitzyGenius who does things ForScience, she's [[WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory Dexter]]'s female counterpart. In "L is For Love", she's shown to have a crush on a boy named David, who physically looks like a shorter Mandark, Dexter's [[TheRival rival]].
* FatalFlaw: If she tries something new and likes it, then she has a tendency to go overboard with it.
* ForScience: Her main motivation in life is to further her research, and human understanding. In fact, she’s willing to go as far as using her own siblings as lab rats, and is revealed in ‘Sleuth and Consequences’ to keep track of her entire family’s bathroom habits for another unexplained study.
* FullNameUltimatum: In "April Fools Rules", her full name is stated by Rita to be "Lisa Marie Loud". [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] as her parents are not mad at her but are trying to convince her to let them into her bunker to hide from Luan.
* GadgeteerGenius: "Snow Bored" shows she has a talent for creating gadgets as well, like a battle robot, various firearms for shooting snow balls, and even a snowball tank.
* GoodIsNotNice: On the side of good but is brutally honest, and uses dangerous experiments in her siblings.
* HairstyleMalfunction: "Room with a Feud" reveals she lost her hair due to an accident in her lab. Her "hair" is actually a wig, which hides the fact [[BodyHorror her brain is visible, as well as green and pulsating]].
* ImprobableAge: She's four and already out of college.
* InsufferableGenius: Prone to this.
* IronicName: Her name means "Devoted to God", and to think, she's a science prodigy who does not believe in any superstitions.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She regularly forms harmful or invasive experiments on her siblings, is incredibly blunt, and loves each one of them dearly despite this.
* MadScientist: She does have shades of this, such as using her siblings as guinea pigs for her experiments, and outright creating a monster out of trash in ‘Chore and Peace’. Lincoln even caught her manically laughing just before she pulled a huge lever on a series of electrodes attached to Lily in ‘Changing the Baby'.
* MoodSwinger: Of a sort. While she's stoic almost all the time, when she feels, [[LaughingMad she]] [[{{Squee}} really]] [[OcularGushers feels]].
* NerdGlasses: Always wears a large pair of very thick glasses, and it's implied she can't see properly without them. The only times she doesn't wear them is when Lincoln takes them away in "Picture Perfect", when she dresses up as her sisters in "Cover Girls", and when she performs SelfSurgery to remove the problem in "Making the Grade". She still wears them afterwards, however, presumably out of choice than necessity.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: The only Loud sibling with BlackBeadEyes.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite being the genius in the family, she still has a tendency to indulge in childish fun like food fights.
* NotSoStoic: A more prominent example than Lucy, but she doesn't react to much. That said, even she cannot help but squeal in delight when she and her sisters [[spoiler: assume (correctly) that the girl Lincoln has been having trouble with is a LovingBully.]] She does actually lampshade how she normally doesn't care for these things before proceeding to squeal.
* PerpetualFrowner: As the usual.
* SelfSurgery: Performs laser eye surgery on herself in "Making the Grade" to help build a "cool" image. While she goes back to wearing glasses at the end, there's no indication that she reversed the process.
* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: Uses big words for simplest things ( such as "natrium sodite" instead of "salt").
* SkintoneSclerae: This is what she looks like without her glasses on.
* TheSmartGuy: She is the most academic of the siblings, having already finished school up through getting a PhD at the age of 4. She has an incredible knowledge of science and mathematics, to the point where she does the family’s taxes and gives lectures at the university.
* SpeechImpediment: She speaks with a lateral lisp.
* {{Squee}}: Her reaction to Lincoln apparently having a LovingBully.
* TheStoic: She is almost completely unemotional, and generally reacts to the family’s antics with disinterest. She tends to fulfill this role when Lucy doesn't. She even describes herself as “normally I don’t care for inane human emotions…”
* StoicSpectacles: A rare female example. She wears big glasses and is unemotional.
* SuddenlyFluentInGibberish: According to the comic, she can understand Lily.
* TerrifiedOfGerms: Often has some kind of cleaning fluid handy to disinfect anything likely to be riddled with germs.
* TheUnSmile: When she does this, it's a sign that she's being dishonest.
* WhenSheSmiles: She looks pretty darn cute when she smiles. [[TheUnSmile Except when she doesn't]].

[[folder:Lily Loud]]
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lily_loud.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:[[BabyTalk Poo-poo!]]]]
->'''Voiced by: (English)''' Creator/GreyDeLisle\\
'''Voiced by: (Latin American)''' Abril Cataño

The youngest of Lincoln and his sisters at only 15-months-old, baby Lily, while normally very playful and cheery, is notorious for her hazardously toxic-smelling dirty diapers.
----
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Literally-speaking--she's the youngest of her siblings at just over a year old.
* BarbieDollAnatomy: Averted, at least in regard to her nipples.
* BellyButtonless: Lily is not depicted with a belly button despite always being shown topless.
* BlankSlate: In "Changing the Baby" Lincoln realizes that since she's just a baby, she has no real interests or hobbies, so he spends the episode trying to mold her into becoming more like him. However, her sisters catch on and start trying to make her share the same interests as well.
* BrainyBaby: Downplayed--while she may not as be as intelligent as her sister, Lisa, Lily has proven herself to be smart enough to have some idea of what's going on around her, particularly when she gets in on the family shenanigans. And it's proven greatly as she can actually get angry when Lincoln does something bad, or annoyed when any one of the siblings, usually Leni, says or does something foolish. She's also intelligent enough to know how to use a phone and camera.
* CatchPhrase: "Poo-poo!"
* CrocodileTears: Can make herself cry on demand whenever she needs to. It's a given, though--she IS a baby, after all.
* TheCutie: While all of the Loud kids are varying degrees of adorable, she stands out as the most adorable. Granted, that's because she's still a baby.
* DiaperCheck: Her main shtick.
* DistaffCounterpart: In "Two Boys And A Baby", she resembles a female version of Billy, a baby boy who Lincoln and Clyde bring home by accident.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Even Lily finds Luan's jokes/puns/pranks to be unfunny.
* EvilLaugh: Lets out one in "Room with a Feud" when she leaks embarrassing photos of Lori out on the internet after her sister accidentally stepped on her phone.
* GamerChick: Though Lincoln realizes that she has her own interests and that he can't mold her, she seems to like playing video games with her older brother, and is even capable of beating him in a video fighting game.
* InformedFlaw: In "Undie Pressure", Lincoln says that her habit is to cry a lot, but Lily's rarely shown crying.
* IntelligibleUnintelligible: Luan can understand her gibberish.
* LivingProp: Give or take, given that she's a baby with limited speech.
* MeaningfulName: Her name means "flower," which shows she's a young bloomer.
* MoralityPet: She's effectively this to her ten older siblings--for example:
** In "Chore and Peace," when Lincoln and the other nine sisters believe that she's trapped underneath all their garbage (in reality, she was simply picked up by their parents), they decide to clean up the house so that they can find her.
** In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud House," Lincoln and the rest of the sisters make a point of keeping their fight/search as quiet as possible when they see that Lily's sleeping.
* NakedPeopleAreFunny: She loves to go without her diaper.
* NoBrows: She has no visible eyebrows, though she is [[OffModel briefly seen with them]] in "Baby Steps".
* OffModel: She's drawn with eyebrows for one scene in "Baby Steps".
* PerpetualSmiler: A smile is her default expression, unless she's really mad or upset.
* SmarterThanYouLook: She seems to be very intelligent for someone who's only fifteen months old.
* TagAlongKid: She's a baby and likes to join in on the others' adventures.
* ToiletHumor: Whenever there's a poop joke, she's usually the source.
* TheUnintelligible: Due to being a baby, she only speaks in baby babbles.

!!Parents

[[folder:Lynn Loud Sr. & Rita Loud]]
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0972.JPG]]
->'''Lynn Sr. voiced by:''' Brian Stepanek (English), César Garduza (Latin America)\\
'''Rita voiced by:''' Jill Talley (English), Cecilia Gómez (Latin America)

The parents of Lincoln and his sisters.
----
* AdultsAreUseless: Both parents do have rules, but usually are too oblivious and absent-minded to notice when they are being broken.
* AlliterativeName: Like his children, Lynn Sr.'s first and last name both start with "L".
* BigOlEyebrows: Lynn Sr. sports these.
* BumblingDad: Downplayed with Mr. Loud. While shown to be a bit childish at times, so far he's never really been shown to be downright stupid.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Their full faces were never shown in all of season one, which often limited the extent of their interactions with the kids. Since their full reveal, this no longer is a limitation to any of the scenes they share with their kids, and are now more often directly involved in their usual antics.
* TheFaceless: Their faces are never seen throughout Season 1, although Mr. Loud's eyes are seen thrice: once via the rearview mirror in one of Lincoln's flashbacks in "The Sweet Spot"; in "The Loudest Yard", with the rest of his face hidden by his mask, and in "April Fool's Rules", with the rest of him covered up in bubble wrap.
** His full figure can be seen (in silhouette) at the end of "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud House".
** As of "Cereal Offender", the ''full'' face of Mrs. Loud can be seen. Albeit in an ImagineSpot[=/=]flashback with a mud mask on and her eyes are covered by cucumbers.
** As of the climax of "11 Louds a Leapin'", their faces finally stop being covered.
** Though we don't see their faces in "Brawl in the Family". Chris Savino noted after the premiere for "11 Louds a Leapin'" that there would likely be an episode or two afterwards where their faces were still blocked.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Dad had a big role in "House Music", whilst Mom had one of her own in "A Novel Idea".
* DidntThinkThisThrough: While Mr. Loud's plan in "It's A Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud House" was admittedly ''quite'' clever, he didn't anticipate just how much of a mess the kids would make before finally learning to work together, [[LampshadeHanging as Mrs. Loud lampshaded]].
* ExhaustedEyeBags: Both have these.
* GoodParents: Most of the time anyway. Mr. and Mrs. love all their kids and will praise them when they do something good, but will firmly punish them when they need it. However, they do have moments where they come off more as bad or even [[AbusiveParents borderline abusive]], like in ''No Such Luck''.
* HartmanHips: Mrs. Loud has these--[[FridgeLogic considering she (presumably) gave birth to eleven kids...]]
* InkSuitActor: Lynn Sr. seems to be modeled after his voice actor, specifically the bald portion on his head whom he shares with.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: Like Father Like Daughter actually, several of the girls traits clearly come from their father.
** Leni inherited his fear of spiders.
** Luna has his love of music, especially his idolization of Mick Swagger (and a fascination with British culture).
** Lynn Jr has his love of sports, if him weeping over not getting the sports channel is anything to judge.
** Luan has the same cheesy sense of humor.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: It's sort of downplayed, but it's shown--Lynn Sr. is a fan of "The Dream Boat" and seems to do most of the cooking in the house (even wearing an pink apron when doing so), while Rita is a bit of a craftsman and has her own tool shed.
* ManChild: Mr. Loud at times; he likes cat videos and jigsaw puzzles.
* NoNameGiven: At first they're only known as the Loud parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loud, Mom and Dad, etc.
** In "Overnight Success" Dad calls Lynn "Lynn Jr.", but since it's technically a unisex name, it's unclear which parent is Lynn Sr.
*** In an Instagram post on Facebook however, it is revealed to be, in fact, Lynn Sr.
*** Which Mr. Loud mentions himself in "Study Muffin."
** In "A Novel Idea", the dentist refers to Mom as Rita.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Its debatable how "above it all" they are, but they do have some moments.
** When Lincoln tricks Mr. Loud to send him back to the kids' table and have a food fight with the younger girls. The older girls ask if they can join in. Mr. Loud is happy to have some peace and quiet. Mrs. Loud comments "Did you say 'peas'?" and flicks some at him with her spoon, both of them chuckling good-heartedly afterwards.
** "Along Came a Sister" shows Dad shares Leni's fear of spiders.
** "Chore and Peace" showed Mom deciding not to intervene with the kids going on chore strike because she wants to know what Lincoln will use to rhyme with "sixteen" and believes the kids might learn something if they handle the problems themselves.
** At the end of "Suite and Sour", even after all the mayhem their children caused at the resort, it's revealed that [[spoiler: ''they'' are the ones that eventually kicked the family out, after the manager caught them SkinnyDipping in the pool at night.]] They decide to not tell the kids that until they're older.
** At the end of "Party Down", they're not mad that Lori's party eventually turned into a WildTeenParty despite her claims it would be "sophisicated" because wild parties are what 17-year-olds like Lori ''should'' be having, and even happily join in on the festivities.
* OddNameOut: Rita is the only one in the Loud House, whose name doesn't start with the letter "L", not counting the pets. {{Justified}} if one remembers that she clearly married into the Loud family and took the surname.
* OneNoteCook: "Fed Up" reveals that while Lynn Sr. is not a ''bad'' cook, he only really knows how to prepare seven different meals and serves them each day of every week. {{Justified}} in that he needs to prepare large enough nutritious meals for a family of 13 while on a budget, so he ''has'' to do this to save money.
* PinkGirlBlueBoy: Lynn Sr. wears dark teal, Rita wears salmon pink.
* PungeonMaster: It's ''very'' apparent that Luan gets her [[IncrediblyLamePun "pun-chant"]] for jokes from her dad. It's even jokingly {{Lampshaded}} by Lynn Sr. in "Raw Deal" when he's checking the tires' air pressure:
--> '''Luan:''' Let me know if you get ''tire''-d, Dad.
--> '''Lynn, Sr.:''' Good one, honey. That's why you're my "air." (heir)
* PunnyName: As we found out in ''A Novel Idea'', Mrs. Loud's first name is Rita, and she's an aspiring author. Rita Loud? "Read Aloud."
* SupremeChef: Mr. Loud, who is in charge of the family's meals. In "Fed Up" after the kids waste all the food trying to cook up something different, Mr. Loud is able to improvise a delicious new dish named "Casa De Loud" with what remains.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House" Mr. Loud tricks the kids into searching for a stash of money in the hopes it will teach them the value of sharing it, giving them his own work bonus; his plan works, but only after the kids have trashed the house to find it.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Mr. Loud, like Leni, is terrified of spiders.
