* BerserkButton: Harming his friends (particularly his human ones), hurting those who cannot fight back, and being an all-around jerk in general is enough to get Tyrantis riled up.

* CloningBlues: Surprisingly averted. While the reveal of her origins is certainly shocking for all parties, she took it mostly in stride, seeing herself as a completely different person. After a while, Lerna accepted this as well.

A positively awful-looking mess of a lifeform that was actually several different kaiju once. Then they were caught in nulcear blasts (the first and only time that A-bombs were used against kaiju), their collective regeneration spiraled out of control due to all the radiation, and gave rise to a mass appropriately titled what it was: Writhing Flesh. Despite it's horrific look though, it's surprisingly sedimental in disposition, and can be tame if not provoked.

A mysterious kaiju that starts out as a huge grub before turning into a beast that stretches the definition of arthropod. [[spoiler: As it turns out, it is in fact a monster sent by the Beyonder Alliance, and it's not the only one of its kind.]]

* {{Envy}}: Absolutely resents any and all kaiju that defy him, mainly because they don't have to handle the Alliance and he has to. Also, he just doesn't like to think anything is stronger than him.

* PteroSoarer: Ahuul is a gigantic, aggressive pterosaur-like monster with a toothy beak, clawed wings, eagle-like talons, and both a crest and a long tail. The inaccuracies are intentional, as he is a kaiju and directly based off of outdated depictions of pterosaurs.

* TiredOfRunning: [[spoiler: After nearly being beaten by Podritak, he overcomes his fear of laser beams, and decides to put his DirtyCoward tendencies away in order to win the fight, which he does.]]

* TurtlePower: Well, tortoise anyway.

* GrumpyBear: A rather tempermental kaiju.

A robot designed by international terrorist Dr. Fritz Murnau (or Doctor Panic, as he was known) in order to impress the Beyonder Alliance. However, he made the mistake of unleashing it on Typhon Island, where the resident kaiju soundly thrashed it. Afterwards, it was put to use to instead fight the Beyonders.

* PrimateVersusReptile: Naturally gets into a brutal fight with Tyrantis. In a unique twist, it's the ape who's the antagonist instead of the other way around. WordOfGod has said that this role-reversal is very much intentional, as he has voiced in the past his dislike of the usual trope.

* {{Expy}}: Of M.O.G.U.E.R.A., within context. Though WordOfGod states that it was mostly based off of [[Film/PacificRim Cherno Alpha]], being a manually-piloted Russian battle machine. It even looks like that robot.

* PunnyName: His name is a portmanteau of "burrow" and "don". In other words, "burrowing tooth".

* {{Expy}}: Of [[NotZilla Godzilla]]. Though his friendliness to humans and more anthropomorphic traits call to mind both the late Showa series, and Film/{{Gamera}}.
