* WhatAnIdiot: Invoked by Paula & Natasha in the fifth leg, when they questioned Terri & Henry's decision to Yield Rovilson & Marc, wondering why they would waste their Yield on a team they all assumed was in front of them.

The second installment of ''The Amazing Race Asia'' did nothing to improve on the negative aspects of the first season. Despite having the most ambitious travel course [[note]]With 5 legs of teams traveling outside Asia[[/note]],there were still an overabundance of non-elimination legs, and a lack of ConfessionCam footage and voiceovers that caused the show to drag[[note]]One Roadblock had the teams trying to find the correct padlock for the key they were given, with some shots showing the contestants trying ten locks uninterrupted without cutting away or any sort of commentary[[/note]]. At the same time, the course was much weaker than the first season's, with many overly simple and straightforward tasks. The erratic placement of equalizers evened up the teams multiple times on some legs, while leaving them hours apart on others, leading to several legs where the eliminated team was fairly evident early on in the episode. Nor was the season very competitive, as two teams dominated the others, finishing as the top two teams in nine separate legs. Not to mention, none of this was helped by how the season ran almost simultaneously with ''Characters/TheAmazingRace12'', which was busy reinventing many aspects of the series, making Asia Season 2 feel archaic in comparison. Overall, it is easily the weakest of ''The Amazing Race Asia'''s four seasons

* GenreSavvy: Leg 9 started with them getting a lead on the other teams due to being the only ones who thought to look for connecting trains to Budapest, while the other teams just sat around for an extra two and a half hours waiting for the direct train. This would allow them to end Rovilson & Marc's winning streak.

* GenreSavvy: They brought nose plugs with them in case they had to do a smelly task, like the elephant dung in leg 11.

* HeyItsThatGuy: [[{{In-Universe}} Ann & Diane]] had this reaction when they saw that Marc was featured in an add on their map of Manila, Philippines.

* HenpeckedHusband: Terri often reduced her husband to tears with he tirades.
