* Anti-Magic: Thanks to the Gift of Khorne, Kharn is practically immune to psychic and magic powers. This only effects things that are used directly on him though, so throwing a fire ball at a {{Exploding Barrel}} next to him is fair game.

[[quoteright:200:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Screenshot2010-09-22_19_36_08_7794.png]]
[[caption-width-right:200:Is he badass or is he badass?]]

Zeratul is a respected Dark Templar. He is somewhat secretive and calculating, but is nevertheless honorable and loyal to his species. He would gladly risk anything to safeguard Aiur. He often speaks in riddles, preferring that others come up with the answers to the questions he puts forward rather than answering them himself. During the Great War, Zeratul allied with the Khalai Tassadar, despite his hatred for the Conclave that once banished his forbears. The Dark Templar personally slew the cerebrate Zasz, but in turn accidentally gave the Overmind the location of Aiur. Zeratul was manipulated by Kerrigan during the Brood War into killing the Second Overmindn and Raszagal, the Dark Templar Matriarch. These events, and the discovery of the hybrids, led Zeratul to go into seclusion to contemplate his actions and investigate. As the Second Great War approached he began to take a more active role once again.
He is voiced in the 1st Starcraft game all the way to Brood Wars by the late Jack Ritschel. In the second game, Zeratul is voiced by Fred Tatasciore.

Zeratul appeared in StarCraft as a playable Dark Templar hero. Like all Dark Templar, he retains the permanent cloaking ability. He has the strongest attack of all StarCraft units (besides the reaver), and appears in Episode III and Episode IV. Zeratul can kill nearly every unit in the game in a few strikes and is capable of tearing structures apart in a matter of seconds. He has powerful shields but low hit points. Zeratul appears in StarCraft II as a dark templar hero with special abilities. In Wings of Liberty, he only appears in the Zeratul Flashbacks minicampaign. Zeratul can blink (much like a stalker). He also has a Void Prison ability, which traps an enemy unit, preventing it from moving, attacking, using special abilities or detecting cloaked units.

* DarkIsNotEvil: He isn't. Much so like the other Dark Templars.
* InvisibleMan: Thanks to his abilities as a Dark Templar.
* LaserBlade: He uses a Warp Blade, the Dark Templar's main melee weapon.
* {{Ninja}}: It's the way he acts.
* OneManArmy: Zeratul can do this even though it's the most normal damage ever.
* {{Telepathy}}: How Zeratul communicates.

Chibiterasu is a little, celestial wolf puppy who appears from the Celestial Plain to save Nippon in Okamiden. Although Amaterasu defeated Yami and all the Demons in Nippon, they mysteriously return. Chibiterasu's adventure starts out in Yakushi Village where he first must save Issun from a pair of Imps. He's Amaterasu's son as he has the ability to control the sun and has a mini version of her Reflector, Divine Retribution. Brush gods also mention that their parents helped his mother. Chibiterasu then sets out on his own journey to free Nippon from evil.

Chibiterasu is a "young form of existence" and not fully grown. Although he retains several abilities of Amaterasu, including the use of the Celestial Brush, he lacks her power. This will be reflected in the plot and gameplay such as how Chibiterasu's ink does not refill by itself when playing in Old Hand Mode. However despite not being as powerful, Chibiterasu does have his own special powers. He can team up with partners to battle enemies, solve puzzles and explore the overworld. Chibiterasu can use a special brush to control his partner to cross patches of land that both of them cannot cross together. Chibiterasu can also have his partners dismount and he can cross the unstable ground without them. Unlike in Okami, Chibiterasu has the ability to travel underwater as well as guide his mermaid partner Nanami through it. Chibiterasu also has to fight many battles in thee water. Chibiterasu starts out only with the Reflector Divine Retribution however, he can craft more Weapons such as Rosaries and Glaives from collected Demon Parts.

* BadassAdorable: Chibiterasu.
* DemonSlaying: His job.
* FacialMarkings: Chibiterasu's markings are like Amaterasu's.

Kirby is the main protagonist of Nintendo's Kirby video game series created by Masahiro Sakurai and developed by HAL Laboratory. The Kirby series is one of Nintendo's many well-known game franchises, spanning nearly twenty games since 1992.[1] His first appearance took place in the 1992 video game Kirby's Dream Land, where he was portrayed by a two-dimensional sprite; since Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards for the Nintendo 64, he has made several appearances in 3-D. He has been featured in other video games from Nintendo, on Nintendo's merchandising, on comic books, and even on a television show. Kirby also appears in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Kirby is described in his games as a young male pink ball, who is a citizen of Dream Land on the planet Pop Star. In the main game, he almost always has the same abilities; he can walk, run, jump, float, slide, and inhale, spit out, or devour his enemies. Kirby's main attack is inhaling enemies (both his mouth and body expand to allow him to inhale things much larger than himself) and swallowing them. He can also attack others by spitting enemies out as star-projectiles. Certain enemies, when swallowed, grant Kirby new powers called Copy Abilities.

Abilities. Kirby has a soft, flexible body. This allows him to be flattened or stretched, always returning to his original shape. This allows him to inflate himself, making himself more buoyant. When inflated, he can flap his arms to fly. In most games, he can do this as long as you like (though in Kirby 64, he will get tired after a while). He can exhale puffs of air as an attack, and also to deflate himself. He can attack enemies by quickly exhaling a puff of air. This technique is known as the air gun.

Khârn is one of the most deadly yet unstable melee fighters in the galaxy and he is just as likely to attack his own allies in a berserk fury as he is the enemy. Armed with a Plasma Pistol and his ancient chainaxe Gorechild, he is able to tear through armour, flesh and bone with ease. To emphasise that he is truly favoured by Khorne, he is subject to the Blessing of the Blood God, and as a result he is immune to the effects of psychic powers. Massive and ancient; Gorechild is a chainaxe artefact from the time of the Great Crusade. Gorechild's jagged whirling teeth were torn from the jaws of Mica Dragons on Luther Mcintyre and its shaft is forged of adamantium. Even in the hands of an unskilled user (which Khârn is clearly not) the axe can split an armoured Space Marine from head to crotch. In the hands of the Betrayer, it can deliver devastating blows with deadly accuracy.

By default, Kamen Rider Ouja is a melee-based Rider. The fighting style of his alter ego, Takeshi Asakura, helped him in his victories more often than any of his Advent cards, although more than anything else, he used his Sword Vent card to summon a spiral sword. Once Ouja defeated Kamen Riders Gai and Raia, he had access to both their contract monsters and their Advent cards, turning the already homicidal Ouja into an even more dangerous force to be reckoned with. Ouja is a melee based Rider like majority of the Kamen Riders. However, he is extremely sadistic, showing no mercy as well as superior tactics over his opponents. He fights relentlessly, but only if he is sure he will win, and isn't hesitant to use other Riders as factors or pawns in his battles. His Sword Vent is his most frequently used weapon. He becomes even more powerful when he forms Contracts with Metalgelas and Evildiver. This allows him access to Gai's Strike Vent and Raia's Swing Vent, making him a more versatile as well as a more deadly force. His Contract Monster Venosnaker participates in his battles, and is often seen as Dragredder's evil equivalent in the series. However, Ouja is weaker against far range opponents, his own unstable nature outclasses his fighting potential, he rarely uses his special card Steal Vent( possibly because he is comfortable with his choice of weapon, as well as only using it to disarm Riders, which is an ineffective strategy), and he rarely takes advantage of the more powerful Genocider, using the united Contract Monster as a more menacing or intimidating distraction in the battlefield. This may also prove that the united Contract Monster is difficult to control, but is restrainable.

Long, long ago in the history of Hyrule, there existed a sinister man named Ganondorf. Zelda series. He is usually depicted as a young boy was born. His name was Link, and despite his humble beginnings, he would grow up or a teenager in green clothing who grows to become a legendary hero. Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of the Legend of Zelda series, originally intended Link to be an extraordinary hero...

adolescent child adventurer, as opposed to a young man. Link's his destiny is always the same. Garbed in his green tunic with sword and shield in hand, he's out to SaveThePrincess and kill Ganon in almost every game. He holds the Triforce of Courage.

At the beginning of nearly every game, Link is just a regular child or young adult, with little to no specialized skills. At the end of the game, however, Link becomes a full-fledged hero with many abilities. Link grows to be an exceptional swordsman throughout each game, usually learning powerful sword techniques. In some games, however, his skill with a sword remains consistent. His skill with other weapons and items allows him to easily adapt and master each new tool he acquires. He often employs new items and equipment in his battles with new enemies just after getting them, almost always during a boss fight, giving him a constant advantage in battle. Link shows himself to be an excellent marksman, showing great skill with a Bow, Boomerang, Slingshot, and other projectile weapons. Link is also very agile, proven as he is able to perform back-flips and somersaults with ease to dodge his enemies' attacks at the very start of his adventures. Additionally, Link possesses great physical strength, able to easily push stone blocks many times his weight and overpower enemies far larger than himself.

Kharn is a Space Marine of the World Eaters legion, the 9th legion created by the God-Emperor of Mankind. Kharn was captain of the 8th Assault Company of the World Eaters Legion, and also served as the personal equerry to Angron, the legion's Primarch. He was actually a calming influence to the Primarch, but he was still an unstable berzerker even back then.

When the Horus Heresy came to be and the World Eaters (quickly) fell to Chaos, Kharn continued to be the most bloodthirsty of them. He was at the front of every charge, including the assault on the Imperial Palace. His slaughter was untold, and when the Heresy was defeated they found him on top of a mountain of corpses, assumed to be dead. When his fellow World Eaters carried him off, they found they he still live, although whether it was because of Khorne bringing him back to life or sear spite for life is unsure.

Viewtiful Joe is a fictional character in the Viewtiful Joe video game series. While normally a regular person named Joe, one fateful day, he and his girlfriend Sylvia were forcibly brought to Movie Land; a parallel dimension that exists on the opposite side of the cinema screen. There, he obtains the ability to transform into Viewtiful Joe by entering a movie from his childhood idol, an older superhero named Captain Blue, in order to save his girlfriend, Sylvia. A young kid with the alias 'Captain Blue Jr.' may have been involved, but he's not included in all versions of the tale.

Since saving Movie Land, Joe has saved Movie Land again with help from his girlfriend (V.J. 2), saved the real world when villains from Movie Land started to appear there (Double Trouble), and has fought against both Tatsunoko and Marvel superheroes and villains (CapcomVsWhatever games). Again, depending on the version of the tale, he may also have fought against allies and enemies from his past to earn the right to star in his own feature film (Red Hot Rumble).

As his power was too great, it was decided that the people must sacrifice their homeland to finally defeat him. And thus, Hyrule became flooded, and Ganondorf was washed beneath the waves.

Centuries later, once civilization had rebuilt itself upon the islands that remained and the memory of Hyrule was long forgotten, a young boy was born. His name was Link, and despite his humble beginnings, he would grow up to be an extraordinary hero...

Editing Joe\'s bio a little bit.

Viewtiful Joe is a fictional character in the Viewtiful Joe video game series. While normally a regular person named Joe, he obtains the ability to transform into Viewtiful Joe by entering a movie and gaining the ability from an older superhero named Captain Blue in order to save his girlfriend, Sylvia. He was created by the game's director, Hideki Kamiya, and illustrated by Kumiko Suekane. Viewtiful Joe has the power to slow down the movie, speed it up, and to zoom into the picture, much like camera effects seen in movies. At first, he is only able to use his powers in movies; however in Viewtiful Joe 2, he demonstrated, when in the real world, that his V-Watch will respond when in front of an audience, enabling him to transform outside of the movie. Joe's a pretty easygoing guy, who loves the fact that he's recently been getting chances to fight alongside his favorite comic book, television, and video game heroes. But, despite his fanboyism, he still tries his hardest to use his powers to protect innocent dudes from harm.

While normally a regular person named Joe, one fateful day, he and his girlfriend Sylvia were forcibly brought to Movie Land; a parallel dimension that exists on the opposite side of the cinema screen. There, he obtains the ability to transform into Viewtiful Joe by entering a movie and gaining the ability from his childhood idol, an older superhero named Captain Blue Blue, in order to save his girlfriend, Sylvia. He was created by Sylvia. A young kid with the game's director, Hideki Kamiya, alias 'Captain Blue Jr.' may have been involved, but he's not included in all versions of the tale.

Since saving Movie Land, Joe has saved Movie Land again with help from his girlfriend (V.J. 2), saved the real world when villains from Movie Land started to appear there (Double Trouble),
and illustrated by Kumiko Suekane. has fought against both Tatsunoko and Marvel superheroes and villains (CapcomVsWhatever games). Again, depending on the version of the tale, he may also have fought against allies and enemies from his past to earn the right to star in his own feature film (Red Hot Rumble).

A major comic book fan from a version of America where people aren't all that tall. One fateful day, he and his girlfriend Sylvia were forcibly brought to Movie Land, a parallel dimension that exists on the opposite side of the cinema screen. There, Joe gained the power to transform into a red-clad superhero, and used it to fight against the evil forces corrupting Movie Land & save his girlfriend. A young kid with the alias 'Captain Blue Jr.' may have been involved, but he's not included in all versions of the tale. [[caption-width-right:250:[[MemeticMutation He's a pretty cool guy]]]]

Perhaps his most infamous fight was the Battle of Skalathrax, against the Emperor's Children, where he single handedly shattered the World Eaters as an organized fighting force. When a blizzard so powerful that even his fellow space marine could not stand it, they had gone for shelter. This threw Kharn into a rage, he took a flamer and burned down the shelters, then killing everyone, World Eaters and Emperor's Children alike. He had since become the avatar of Khorne, unmatched in battle and after only the slaughter of anything in reach, giving their blood and skulls to the Blood God.

*AxCrazy: ''Well no shit''.
*AnAxeToGrind / ChainsawGood: Kharn's weapon of choice, Gorechild.
*BloodKnight: Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows.
*CharacterDerailment: To make Kharn a playable character, his bloodlust had to be toned down so that he wouldn't kill all the other characters on sight. However, the gap is filled in with mostly {{Jerkass}} to compensate.
*JerkAss: [[{{Understatement}} Kharn is not nice]]. He seems to pick on Stone Wong the most.
*SpaceMarine: Of the Chaos kind.
