In "MHA watches Death Battle" however, they're a lot less benevolent, regularly interfering with the viewers in the name of making things "entertaining" even at their expense, and making it no secret they will continue to do so despite any precautions the characters may take to avert it, causing the viewers to see them as a {{jerkass god|s}}.

** In ''MHA watches Death Battle'' some of his counterparts were either, betrayed by a close ally (i.e. Kratos and Spawn), grew up in abusive households and[=/=]or has an abusive parent (i.e. Luke Skywalker and Harry Potter), is permanently [[DeadAlternateCounterpart dead]] (i.e. Daisy the Rabbit, Liu Kang, and Zack Fair), or suffers from very similar circumstances (i.e. Spider-Man).
** In ''Welcome to the MCU'' his MCU counterpart, Izuku Rogers aka. '''ComicBook/CaptainAmerica''' has a DarkAndTroubledPast similar to his own before their journeys began in a twist of fate.

* NoSell: While Zayden can easily hack into and communicate with F.R.I.D.A.Y. in "Welcome to the MCU!", the device Wiz and Boomstick sent in "MHA watches Death Battle" is preprogrammed to self-destruct if it detects any hints of hacking, preventing Zayden from exerting any influence over it, and needing to outright ''request'' leaving it messages to give to the characters. This just means Zayden has to exert their influence on the ''[[LoopholeAbuse characters]]'' instead.

In fact, it's implied that he's more attached to Inko as an HonoraryAunt than Izuku is to Mitsuki given how Bakugou tends to use "Auntie" when referring to her whereas Izuku leans more toward calling Mitsuki "Aunt". The fact that he spent over a decade bullying Izuku in many ways while lying to Inko only adds more weight to his guilty conscience.

Resolving to make it up to his pupil in addition to his poor teaching methods that led to Izuku's DentedIron in his first year at U.A.
