Despite her having kidnapped the plumber because she mistook the two and refused to listen to Mario's numerous claims to the contrary. She then mistakes Luigi for her husband immediately afterwards.
* IdenticalStranger: The prince looks almost exactly like Mario, which is why the queen kidnaps him when she sees him. The king is also a literally dead-ringer for Luigi if the queen is to be believed.
