* BrattyHalfPint: He was in his debut appearance. He was mouthy, rude and arrogant. In his debut appearance, he's the youngest male character at 16, and the shortest in the series at 157 cm (a very petite 5'2" and very short for his age and gender) as well as the shortest in the cast. He was also the shortest male character by a large margin, being dwarfed by Mitsurugi, the second shortest male character in Edge. His short stature is used to enhance his childishness and comparative mental immaturity compared to the adults amongst the cast. He counts as this and not ShortTeensAndTallAdults is because he was much shorter than all but five characters who were teens throughout the franchise.

This fits the entry description because he is very short for his gender and age

I'm afraid this doesn't fit either mate — this trope is specific to schoolboy characters and their interactions in school settings. Even at his debut, Siegfried is a 16 year-old knight and we never see him in a school setting. All size tropes relevant to Sig are already (extensively) covered via Pint Sized Powerhouse, The Napoleon, Kid Hero All Grown Up and I Got Bigger — anything else is likely shoehorning and should be avoided. Unrelated to this point, I've also done a bit of Cruft clean up and removed a chained sinkhole.

* IGotBigger: Siegfried experiences the most height growth out of the cast as the series progresses. He starts out at 157 cm at age 16, then 165 cm at age 19, 168 cm at age 23 and 172 cm at age 40. This coincides with his CharacterDevelopment, going from a haughty brat in his debut at 16 to a dignified, serious man at 40. His height growth does seem to be inordinately long, as he grows only 3 cm in the four years between 1 and 2, but he has grown another 4 cm between IV and V. This would logically mean Siegfried grew for at least another 5 years after the age of 23, which is odd, because most people stop growing in their early 20’s, at the latest. The height change is V also doesn’t seem to be a Retcon, because he looks both broader and taller.
* IWorkAlone: Has this mentality. When Sophitia offers to help him on his quest for Soul Edge in the first game, Siegfried is incensed. He has this reaction again when Hilde does the same in ''SCIV.'' Noticeably part of the reason for both is that he doesn't want to get distracted from his goals [[ShipTease by not letting anyone]] [[CelibateHero touch his heart]], specifically in IV. He has dropped this behavior after ''SCV'', where he has reformed and leads Schwartzwind.

* KidHeroAllGrownUp: More like kid villain all grown up because he starts out as a villain. He does a lot of growing both height and width wise. He is rather slender, but by the 17 year time skip in V, he has grown both taller and broader. Compare his appearance at age 16 to his appearance at age 40, and he looks like a completely different person. This is helped by him debuting as a diminutive 157 cm tall, and looking rather childish, and then growing throughout the series, even after age 23, growing a whole half a foot.

* PintSizedPowerHouse: He's 5'2" (157cm) when he debuts at age 16 and [[LightningBruiser can still kick your ass.]] Notably, he is the shortest or second shortest male character and short in general for most of the series, even after a series of growth spurts kick in. It is only until his final growth spurt after IV, that he is now taller than at least two men. Amusingly, three of his throws, "hilt impact", "calamity fall" and "silent pride" require him to pull his foes lower so he can grab them, as he is shorter than at least half of the cast. "Hilt impact" almost seems like the opponent is helpfully kneeling down so that he can connect the hit. Even with them kneeling, there are still at least a handful of characters who are too tall for him to connect the hit.

* {{Retcon}}: Siegfried's very short initial height in ''Soul Edge'' -- 157 cm (5'2"), as listed in his bio -- is subject to a retcon in ''Legends'' (although it is non-canon), where he is supposed to be 16 years old, but is the same height 165 cm (5'4") as he is at age 19 in later games. Another happens in VI, where he is age 19, but is the same height, 172 cm (5’ 8”) as he is at age 40 in V, which coincidentally nearly the same height increase. It seems the developers really don’t want him to be short.

I checked out the trope definition, and it looks like it applies when the kid is just really short compared to everyone else, which based on him being much shorter than almost everyone in the first game, applies. Especially when only he and Seong Mina were the only teens. This information also overlaps with Tiny School Boy. The purpose of this entry is to use the information that was removed with Short Teens Tall Adults. Alternatively, I could merge this entry with Pint-sized powerhouse instead.

This isn’t a fit mate - this trope is used when children are exaggeratedly smaller than their parents.

This feels like an unnecessary shoehorn, as his throws are not a direct, intentional attack on his female opponents' breasts.

* BreastAttack: Unintentionally, but because of his short height, all but one of his grabs, Calamity Fall unintentionally have him grab or attack female fighters breasts. Hilt Impact often looks like he is grabbing a woman’s breasts when he is holding their chin. Nightmare Killer has him shoulder charge their body, which will result in him should slamming into their breasts. Silent Pride and Neutral Judge have Siegfried wrap his arm around his opponent’s chest area.

Removing unnecessary natter.

* NotDrawnToScale: In V’s Story Mode, either he is drawn taller than he is or Patroklas is drawn shorter than he is, because he is drawn to be taller than Patroklas by several inches when he is actually 2 inches shorter than he is. This could be a case of ShortTeensTallAdults.

This could be a case of ShortTeensTallAdults.

* ShortTeensTallAdults: In his debut appearance, he's the youngest male character at 16, and the shortest in the series at 157 cm (a very petite 5'2"). The other teens in the series (except Amy, Talim, Leixia and Xianghua, the four shortest characters) are usually taller than Siegfried. His short stature in his debut appearance is used to enhance his childishness and comparative mental immaturity compared to the adults amongst the cast. This is played on the other side with him too, because he is conspicuously made nearly 2 inches taller in V at age 40 so that he is a good amount taller than most of the younger characters.
