One of the most skilled members of the NOT class, Akane is the meister of Clay and it's pointed out by many that the pair have such impressive skill that they should be in the EAT class instead. Acts something like Tsugumi's love interest, though whether or not his interest in her is real has yet to be revealed. [[spoiler:He reveals to Tsugumi that he is actually part of the Star Clan, the same clan Black Star is from. This is further emphasized by the fact he has a star pattern in his hidden left eye. It is later revealed that he, along with Clay, are actually Anya's bodyguards secretly tailing her: that's why they remain in NOT despite their skill.]]

Akane's weapon partner who is capable of turning into a sword. While more informal and direct than his partner, Clay is still just as level-headed and serious as Akane when the situation calls for it. While he doesn't interact with the girls as much as Akane does, he is still shown to be just as protective of them. [[spoiler:Along with Akane, one of Anya's bodyguards.]]

A spoiled rich girl who is implied to have run away from home, she has trouble relating to anyone who didn't grow up wealthy, which is probably why she has such a strange obsession with ''commoner'' things. Her personality has also lead to her developing insecurities about her relationship with Anya and Meme, as she believes she can never be as close with either them as they are with each other.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Her constant memory loss usually seems a result of a [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} never paying attention to anything]], but other times (especially her DayIntheLimelight) it comes off as a genuine mental disability where she forgets things even if she's trying to paying attention and knows how important they are.
