* AdaptationalVillainy: Just like his [[WesternAnimation/SonicTheHedgehogSatam SATAM]] counterpart, this version of the egg shaped genius completely lacks any positive or redeeming qualities that the doctor has in the games. And unlike his later Robo counterpart in the same continuity that took his place as BigBad, he ''also'' completely lacks the one redeeming quality (his genuine care for Mecha) that said counterpart had. All in all, he can ''easily'' be considered to be the most vile and evil version of Dr. Eggman yet.

A computer program meant to serve Eggman. It gained sentience and assumed control of Eggman's nanites, using the Freedom Fighter, Tommy Turtle, as a living avatar to bond onto and try to kill the doctor.

* TheAssimilator: After its first appearance, a surviving sprig of the Krudzu adapted to be able to absorb and integrate machinery and Badniks into itself, allowing it to use their powers and pieces as weapons and defense.
* BotanicalAbomination: As the Hybrid Hydra, which can assimilate robots and machines to make itself into a nightmarish mishmash of mecha-plant and Badnik.
* StarterVillain: He was one of the first threats to the Freedom Fighters, early in the first issue of the entire comic series.
* WeaksauceWeakness: The Krudzu was instantly shorted out and killed the moment it began to rain on Knothole. Robotnik was understandably furious about this. Much later when Eggman sent it after Team Fighters as part of a Titan Metal Sonic they managed to knock it into the ocean and seemingly defeated it, but the KHH managed to assimilate a Crabmeat and remove its weakness to water.
* WhenTreesAttack: The Krudzu acts just like its real-life inspiration, the kudzu, growing incredibly quickly and entangling everything in its vicinity. Unlike the real plant, it's a thinking machine that does this with malevolence and destruction in mind. It nearly completely choked out and destroyed the forest Knothole was hidden in before it was stopped.

good doctor though no ally of mecha-plant and Badnik.
* StarterVillain: He was one of the first threats to
the Freedom Fighters, early Fighters. He's looking out for himself.
* BaitTheDog: Initially A.D.A.M. didn't seem all that bad. He was a ComicallySerious character with a naivety stemming from his literal-mindedness; Tails even "defeats" him
in the first issue arc by playing a game of riddles, which A.D.A.M. admits to having enjoyed. As the entire comic series.
series goes on A.D.A.M. grows to be a much more violent, manipulative, and cruel character than originally believed, nearly killing Bunnie, jacking Tommy's body, and having his sister M killed.
* WeaksauceWeakness: CainAndAbel: The Krudzu was instantly shorted out Cain to his sister Mecha's Abel. Mecha and killed the moment it began A.D.A.M. actually didn't have much of a relationship at all, but A.D.A.M. saw her as a threat to rain on Knothole. his plans and tricked Robotnik was understandably furious about this. Much into ordering her to self destruct; later when Eggman sent it after Team Fighters as A.D.A.M. would delete her files himself. It's implied that part of a Titan Metal this was out of envy of M being Eggman's favorite.
* FunWithAcronyms: His name is short for Autonomous Digital Assault Microbe. Also for "Adam Determines Anonymous' Movements".
* KilledOffForReal: Dies when Tommy allows Eggman to obliterate the both of them via the Egg Armada.
* LogicBomb: Thrives on logic, allowing the heroes to sometimes stall for time. Tails used riddles and jokes to prevent A.D.A.M from attacking Station Square. Later,
Sonic they managed used logic to knock it into free Bunnie from his clutches.
* ManipulativeBastard: Under
the ocean moniker "Anonymous", A.D.A.M manipulated a lot of events behind the scenes including Mammoth Mongol, Ixis and seemingly defeated it, but the KHH managed Destructix as well as Eggman. This lead to assimilate the death of his "sister", M whom he framed was working against Eggman. Eggman promptly had M self destruct as a Crabmeat result and remove its weakness to water.

any files of her deleted. He later regretted that does this with malevolence and destruction in mind. It nearly completely choked decision when he found out and destroyed A.D.A.M's deception.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Sorta, due to making a city full of nanites. NICOLE would later use it to create a New Mobotropolis, locating
the forest citizens of Knothole was hidden there after Eggman destroys their initial home.
* PutOnABus: Gone after the reboot. However, his nanites are briefly mentioned
in before the first post-reboot issue.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: When it took control of the nanites,
it was stopped.able to do this. Though could only move around using Tommy Turtle's body.
