* CatSmile: Prominent during the [[{{Chibi}} chibified]] ED's.

* CatSmile: Often smiles like a cat, especially during her dumber moments.

* AwfulTruth: She's aware that Teru is angry with her, but is quite disturbed to hear her [[IHaveNoSon telling people that she doesn't have a sister]], making her wonder if reconciliation is impossible.

* FaceOfTheBand: In-universe example. The only reason people know of Kiyosumi High's mahjong club is because Nodoka is a member. She's even considered the team's ace.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: Saki later discovers that she prefers to play Mahjong while barefoot, because it gives her a feeling of homelike comfort that [[TheGlovesComeOff allows her to buckle down and compete at her best.]] This is because she first played the game in her bare feet when she was really little and at home, and made the connection after remembering she was shoe-less and sometimes even sock-less at training camp. She also likes to clap her bare feet together for good luck, imitating her younger self.

* PowerWalk: Depicted in Season 1 Episode 6, when she walked past Team Ryuumonbuchi, only to trip on her own feet five steps later, and again in ''Achiga-hen'', while passing by Team Achiga, complete with BattleAura, intimidating Kuro, Harue and Shizuno even as it turns out that [[NoSenseOfDirection Saki is just trying to find her way]].

* BadAssInDistress: In the National Quarterfinals, Hisa finds herself in a tenpai-less last-place spot, and then makes it worse by losing even more points to first place Himematsu.

* DaydreamSurprise: Occasionally does this in Season, having {{fanservice}}y fantasies of Nodoka and/or Mihoko.
