Dave is a rather famous person, people like to make movies about him. Although he likes to think of himself as your average Joe, he cannot. He is unsure when he found out about his powers or when he developed him. He does not have eyes, an he isn't sure why he can still see like he would if he did but just a strange symbol is there. Almost like he sees from the symbol. People seem to think Dave is a criminal, but he only uses his "powers" for good. After recent exploring of ancient ruins, Dave found a decrepit prison which showed the same symbol on the wall as the symbol for his eye. He began to follow through the prison an came to a room, there were two skeletons on the ground that wore clothing from the early fifties. They looks to be explorers, an it seems they died in this room from something unspeakable, could it have been Dave? He found one of the skeletons to have a holster and a backpack on, an the other a sheath to a sword. Dave warped in his weapons an they both fit into each casing, he warped his weapons out and looked into the bag. The bag contained a book of magic, with once again the same symbol on his head in there. He set down the book an looked to the pedestal in the center of the room to see that it looked to have once held a human figure, "could this have been my prison?" Dave says. He gets up an lays into it an it fits him perfect, but suddenly the room starts to shake an on the ceiling the same body form is there. Dave realizes this fast an quickly rolls off the pedestal an lands on the ground, he didn't want to be prisoned again. the room is still shook an he sees the door start to slowly close, Dave quickly grabs the book and dives through the door. and now you know what he is so far.

The scientist experimenting on him, unbeknownst to Steel, was an executive in a mercenary business who enslaved him to fight and do his master's bidding. He some day hopes to escape, although he wouldn't know what he would do once he escaped.

Fox was part of an international space program who auctioned planets on the black market after wiping out their inhabitants. One mission they went to this planet called "Que", known for its ferocious creatures. As the team progressed into the planet's depths, they were wiped out by an ambush of black creatures and Fox barely escaped with his life. Stranded and slowly dying, Fox managed to live for a while until one day he came across another black creature. It saw his pain and, being a sentimental creature, helped him live. They soon became friends and Fox gained the ability to Flash-Step thanks to the toxic air mutating his cells. He returned to Earth with 'Q' (Or so he named the creature) and since his life was "ruined" or "abnormal" he started from the bottom. He joined a fight club and soon traveled to world fighting and winning. One match he was close to losing, until Q stepped in and helped Fox win. Since Fox "cheated" he was disqualified from the group - that was where he was invited to join Zetabrand and the RHG system.

Steel is a deep character. In an attempt to gain a sense of fulfillment, he conceptualizes things. He is always thinking. He feels as if others only put on a mask of intellectual inquisitiveness as if to go about their day, that they don't really learn anything, or want to for that matter. Steel notices patterns quickly and makes sense of them, he is able to find inconsistencies in things.

Because of his complex thoughts, Steel keeps his ideas to himself, often only having deep conversations in his head. However, when around others he will mimic their mannerisms unconsciously in an attempt to discover what it is like to be the person. After all, one can only understand if one has become the thing in question. Steel is very intuitive about people and can sense if someone is trustworthy from the start. However, Steel doesn't feel the need to incorporate himself with others if he doesn't have to.

With an eluded name and a mysterious purpose, "FLLFFL", or "Alfa" seen through illusion, is arcane. He does, however, have a foundation of never actually killing his adversaries. With this foundation his adaptation over controlling his emotions is superb. It's rare for "Alfa" to truly express during combat. Appearing to be in his late-middle ages, "Alfa" has always been known to be very dependent on his specialized sword. Although no one knows what it's exactly made of, his sword has always protected himself and destroyed others. Irritated with his the destructive capabilities of his sword, he regrets ever making the legendary ordnance. Some say he's been searching for those strong enough to break the blade and end his own reign of destruction, others say he'd been searching for the hammer that formed the ordnance itself. Others rumor that his quest is to create another weapon of destruction. No one really knows, in fact.

Too poor to buy a real weapon, this teenage stick modified the average yo-yo to be an explosive and lethal tool for his opponents. The micro generator inside his yo-yo stores massive amounts of energy as it spins in mock speeds, unleashing a devastating shock of power on the next hit.

One day Chuck was out busking on the streets with a nun-chuck act that everyone loved. He had just finished his second act and was lighting his smell-good candles for meditation when a truck loaded with containers of toxic waste lost control and fell on him. Ever since the accident, he has been awesome.

Oxob's life is all a big game. He lives every day as if it was his last and he always sees the positive in every situation. In his earlier days he use to be a rich stuntman and pushed his limits for each stunt he made. As a result, one day he lost both his hands. Though, since he was so rich, he could afford to buy new mechanical hands. Later on, these hands were upgraded, constructed in carbon steel and modified with power-concentrating ability. After these upgrades, Oxob were all out of money and turned into a poor guy with no belongings. Despite this, Oxob still tryes to live each day with joy, and makes friends wherever he goes. But those who tries to pic a fight mostly leaves with at least a broken nose.

Created by Stone, the guy who brought the community together. Andre is a normal guy with an enormous hammer that allows him to effortlessly perform combos on enemies. However, he can only be successful when using combos, and he is slow and claustrophobic.

Stone also created Rock Hard Coliseum, a series of interactive animations by him depicting several warriors fighting other gladiators that they had not fought before.

Jomm, named after the animator of the same name, wields a {{BFS}} with a mechanism that fires powerful blasts of compressed air.

Yoyo’s weapon is a supercharged yoyo which, when energy is stored, can create some pretty devastating blasts. However he is very weapon dependant. His animator, Hyun, founded Hyun’s Dojo, a separate community for animators to show their work, whether RHG related or not. Hyun likes to use visual gags and smileys.

Yoyo is one of the few fighters who has beaten FLLFFL. He is the only fighter who has beaten FLLFFL for his first battle.

Druncho is Armorstick’s second gladiator, the first being Trinit. (Or maybe it’s the other way around?) Druncho wields a scythe, and he also controls the wind. His animator, Armorstick, uses significantly shorter stick figures than most animators.

Created by Terkoiz, Alfa is the most popular fighters. It is said on the Stickpage forums that whenever they have a popularity contest, they should just start by saying "Congratulations Terkoiz for winning! Now let's battle for second place!" He is depicted as a yellow-green stickman with a sword. The sword has a rocket booster thing on the back, allowing him to boost around and ride his sword. Alfa is a superb swordsman, and he is fast and agile. Most recent animations depict him as an older figure, since, after all, he was the first RHG.

Terkoiz and Alfa are still active, although very busy. Recently, he challenged Resh, a rising star, but hasn’t found the time to do his entry.

Alfa has only lost a couple battles: Chuck, The French, Mr. Pix, Yoyo, and possibly Umbrella. Although this may seem like a lot to some people, if compared with the amount of wins the ratio is tiny.
