* StealingTheCredit: Was on the receiving end of this thanks to Starline. It turns out that finding the Chaos Emeralds was a team effort, rather than him doing it solo as he claimed. However, he took them and claimed that it was all his doing after all seven were located, proceeding with his own plans for Dr. Eggman who at that time Mr. Tinker. His betrayal set back their plans to formally introduce themselves to the doctor and forced them to look for an alternative prize to offer in light of [[spoiler:Starline's attempted coup]] later on, so that Dr. Eggman would think that they will actually serve him faithfully. Said prize was [[spoiler:New Mobotropolis]].

* HypocrisyNod: [[spoiler:Ultimately what allows her to bury the hatchet with Mina Mongoose. For all of her justifiable complaints toward Mina, Sally herself realizes that she has her own fair share of terrible mistakes after some self-reflection and is in no place to judge. Her faith in both her irrational father and the corrupted Source (Though to be fair, Sally never truly trusted 'The source of all' rejected bonding with it) nearly led to a ''mass genocide'' of innocent robians and an arranged marriage with Patch. Any notions that all this is wrong got buried by her own delusions. And this isn't counting all of the mistakes she did afterwards]].

* HypocrisyNod: [[spoiler:Ultimately what allows her to bury the hatchet with Mina Mongoose. For all of her justifiable complaints toward Mina, Sally herself realizes that she has her own fair share of terrible mistakes after some self-reflection and is in no place to judge. Her blind trust in both her irrational father and the corrupted Source nearly led to a ''mass genocide'' of innocent robians and an arranged marriage with Patch. Any notions that all this is wrong got buried by her own delusions. And this isn't counting all of the mistakes she did afterwards]].

* SuperiorSuccessor: Compared to their predecessors, it is very clear that Mammoth Mogul learned from his mistakes when creating this iteration of the Fearsome Foursome. Not only are they completely loyal to him, the few times that had them fight required nothing short of bad luck[[note]]Eilas and Larry Lynx's recon mission of Mammoth Mogul has them running into Shiro who nearly killed them both if it wasn't for Larry's "[[BornUnlucky jinx]]" kicking in[[/note]], raw overwhelming power[[note]]Silver freezing them in place with his powers[[/note]] or their boss' direct command to stop them.

The newest iteration of Mammoth Mogul's Fearsome Foursome. All of them are natives to Earth who have been convinced to swear their undying loyalty to the mammoth, and in return they gained awesome powers to better serve him. They consist of Shiro the Fox, Trigger the Porcupine, Pluto the Hound, and Cheshire the Hybrid.

* RedEyesTakeWarning: Shiro's albinism includes him having red eyes, which he usually hides behind sunglasses unless he wants to intimidate someone.

!!The Hooligans

A group of bounty hunters with a criminal record. They run into Team Freedom as they were notified of a bounty to catch Mina Mongoose.

* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** They draw the line at taking lives. Bean is often held back by the other Hooligans to avoid mass casualties from his bombs. They also dropped working for Eggman after what went down with [[VideoGame/SonicAdventure Perfect Chaos and Station Square]].
** None of them were pleased with Fang losing his temper being how [[VideoGame/SonicSuperstars Trip]] ended up [[MistreatmentInducedBetrayal turning on them]] either.
* StarterVillain: For Team Freedom as whole. Their clash in Studiopolis is a test of their abilities and teamwork.

The leader of the Hooligans. A wolf-jerboa hybrid that is very good with a gun and will brag about fighting Sonic back in the day, but has fallen on hard times due to no longer being a match for the Blue Blur.

** In the [[spoiler:Mina Moongoose retrieval mission, Hershey's second order of action was to ''shoot Mina dead'' when saving her was a failure]].

* DirtyBusiness: Was basically Harvey Who's Black-Ops agent, doing missions that the Freedom Fighters and Geoffrey never would have done such as political assassinations to maintain Station Square's support and giving weapons to the Sand-Blasters so that they can continue keeping Eggman's forces busy. Hershey may not particularly like doing this, but she does it because she believes it's the only way she can help Sonic and Sally in order to atone for her mistakes during Endgame.

* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: Subverted in that she ''did'' try to just shoot Infinite when she had the chance... and it turned out to be an illusion. Making things worse, he quickly homed in on her position as he knows that her hiding spot is perfect for snipers due to his past as a mercenary. He not only subjected her to a brutal MindRape, but extracted information about the Secret Freedom Fighters as well, only keeping it to himself out of {{sadis|t}}m.

* GratuitousFrench: Is often prone to randomly speak in French and an overblown French FunetikAksent.

* EveryoneHasStandards: Is appalled by Elias' dismissal of Tangle and Whisper.

* ItsAllMyFault: Amadeus hints that he sees the current situation as partly his fault, and that he was too naïve to see that the situation was falling apart which led to Geoffrey taking control of the city.

* BreakThemByTalking: Attempts this several times against Nicole, wielding the circumstances of her creation against her.
* DirtyCoward: Accused of this by Tangle, who points out she's awfully quick to resort to [[BreakThemByTalking using her shared body with Sally to get opponents to hesitate]] whenever she can't steamroll her opponents.

* VillainousBreakdown: Increasingly loses her cool as Nicole's viruses and boost to Sally take effect.

* EvilCostumeSwitch: {{Downplayed|Trope}}, she's given an edgy punk makeover that symbolizes her reluctant adherence to Mammoth Mogul's agencys' demands to become a pop-star on Earth while at the same time reflecting the pathetic state of her psyche. [[spoiler:She ditches it at the end of the Studiopolis arc]].

* SmugSnake: He views himself as being an ''equal'' to Ixis Naugus simply because his technological skills are essential to the wizard's plans, not realizing (or at least willfully blinding himself to) the simple fact he's just the best and most controllable option. Sally even notes that's he's still the same arrogant little weasel he was back on Mobius.

* {{Realpolitik}}: Performs actions that wouldn't look out of place in the real world or a spy thriller, such as arranging political assassinations and weapons dealing with the Sand-Blasters. Actions which he believed maintained stability and order on Mobius and would eventually lead to Sonic & Sally finally beating Eggman.

* CruelElephant: A villainous mammoth with ambitions of world domination. He also freely admits that learning what Thrash did to the echidnas (as well as Saffron) got a dark chuckle out of him and seems rather amused at Nicole's anger and despair at learning he was indirectly responsible for the exile.

* AdaptationNameChange: Inverted. While he's always been named Fang in Japan. In the U.S, he was dubbed Nack the Weasel (save for ''Sonic the Fighters''), a named that the Archie series likewise used through all of his appearances. Here, however, his name is Fang though all the Archie characters call him Nack much to the sniper's confusion. This is partly because Nack the Weasel, in the rebooted timeline, is [[https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/rediscovered-frontiers-archie-idw-sonic-crossover.1056555/post-93452160 an alias he'd gone by in the past but had long since abandoned]].

* CoolBike: As usual, he shows up on his hover bike, The Marvelous Queen. Fang takes great pride in the Marvelous Queen and its commented by Bunnie that he pumps most of the earnings of his jobs on repairs or upgrades.

* PragmaticVillainy: It is revealed by Bunnie in Chapter 29 that he draws the line at killing people, as this is all the motivation Sonic needs to reduce him to a red and purple smear on the wall. Better act like a GoldfishPoopGang to avoid the heat.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her rebooted backstory barely has any bright spots. Born into a commune that swore off modern technology and medicine, she one day contracted a disease that caused her left arm and legs to not work anymore. After overhearing her mother call her a burden, Bunnie ran away to her uncle and learned from a doctor that because her parents didn't bring her in to get treated earlier, modern medical techniques can't help her. She then goes to Thunderbolt to get artificial limbs and finds out she put her and her uncle in an enormous debt. Because of the artificial limbs, Bunnie was disowned by her parents and went off to live with her aunt and uncle. She was then forced into a life of crime to pay off said debt, running away from her uncle and aunt in fear of them considering her a burden eventually, and eventually joins Fang and the other two members of the Hooligans.

* PantslessMalesFullyDressedFemales: She runs into this problem when she and Saffron leave Angel Island, as many people find themselves averting their eyes from her in embarrassment at how little she's wearing, especially without any undergarments. She initially thinks they're reacting to her cybernetics until one well-meaning person hesitantly asks what her pronouns are supposed to be, and so she and Saffron end up using this as an excuse to get new clothing to replace their tattered ones anyways (after Julie has an explosion of temper and incredulity). Julie-Su still finds it utterly ridiculous and wonders to herself if Eggman actually managed to briefly conquer the world and institute such a rule just to be a troll.

* FantasticRacism: It becomes clear as the story goes on that he doesn't think of "Genesis Births" as being "actual" people compared to individuals from Mobius. And as such [[spoiler:he is fully willing to sacrifice all of them in order to "deboot" the world back to into Mobius.]]

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler:In order to allow her to freely investigate the creation of the second Death Egg and Mammoth Mogul creating his protection spell, his decision to have Hershey fake her death to prevent Ixis Naugus from getting suspicious pretty much caused the Geoffrey's return to villainy and Naugus becoming king]].

A dimension-hopping Echidna, who is thrilled to be back in her home dimension.

** [[spoiler:She reacts negatively to any work to her body, due to her Eggman sadistically forcing her to witness the "upgrades" he made to her body]].
