* TokenGoodTeammate: In comparison to his brothers, Boomer is pretty much a NiceGuy to Brick's neutral pragmatism and Butch's sadistic BloodKnight. The Powerpuffs eventually realize this too, figuring out he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, he's just innocent and a massive idiot. So when the find him causing a problem, they easily figure either HanlonsRazor was in effect, or he was put up to doing it by Brick or Butch.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationalNiceGuy: As a whole, they're a lot less vicious and cruel than their original 1990's counterparts, with Butch being the worst of the trio, and even then he's more just a general bully than a violent brute. The 2022 Christmas special hangs a {{lampshade|Hanging}} on this by having both Brick and Boomer on Santa's Nice List, while Butch was on the Naughty List, though him attacking Santa and Jingle thinking they were burglars more than likely played a factor.

* DefrostingIceKing: While it's slow going, Brick is slowly but surely opening up and finding GoodFeelsGood, especially after meeting Superman. The 2022 Halloween special in particular sees him beginning to open up, going above and beyond to help Suzy when she and Tootie are caught in their mission, and Blossom being proud of him when she finds out.

Added DiffLines:

* ShipTease: In a parallel with Blossom getting some with Dexter, the 2022 Halloween special begins to hint that Brick is developing feelings for Olga.

* {{Flanderization}}: {{Play|ingWithATrope}}ed with. While Butch is close to his canon portrayal in terms of personality, Brick and Boomer's traits have been exaggerated.
** Brick's HairTriggerTemper and propensity for street smarts have translated into him being brooding and pissed off most of them time, but an effective and intelligent leader.
** Boomer's stupidity and {{cloudcuckoolander}} behavior is now depicted as him being extremely innocent and simple minded, to the point he's the TokenGoodTeammate now.

!The Rowdyruff Boys
[[folder:In General]]
[[quoteright:203:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/RRB_1711.jpg]]

Brick, Boomer, and Butch, the Powerpuff Girls' evil male counterparts were originally created by Mojo Jojo. Here, they're the subject of study in a secret government project called "Project Rowdy". Exactly what said the project entails remains a mystery. In this version, Boomer is a little more innocent, while Brick and Butch are apparently planning revenge against the Powerpuff Girls for their last defeat. Interestingly, the idea to include the Rowdyruff Boys in the comic at all wasn't Bleedman's, but that of a deviantART member.[[note]]The fan in question is credited by Bleedman in his comments below [[http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/index.php?comic_id=52 this page]] of the comic.[[/note]] By the time of the comic, the Rowdyruffs hadn't reappeared back in the TV show yet.
----
* AgeLift: [[PlayingWithATrope Played with]]. Like the Powerpuff Girls, they also get a bump in physical age. As well as being chronologically younger than they appear to be.
* TheBusCameBack: Haven't been seen since the third chapter, [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/sparks-fly-everywhere-in-sight Until now.]]
* CameBackStrong: As Brick puts it, the Skyway Patrol and the Men In Black found their leftover bits and put them back together, with an added boost and training to their already impressive powerset.
* CompositeCharacter: A retroactive example due to their debut chapter being released before their revival in the original 1998 cartoon, making their webcomic appearances a coincidental mix between their first and revival design.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Played with. They wear black outfits in their introduction and whenever they're required to operate on the field but are currently {{Nominal Hero}}es at best.
* HazyFeelTurn: They're currently on the heroes' side, but were revived for a highly, confidential government project.
* NewTransferStudent: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/portraits-of-portents As of present]], all three will be attending the same school as the Powerpuff Girls.
* NiceMeanAndInbetween: Boomer is nice, Butch is mean, and Brick is Inbetween.
* NonuniformUniform: While their uniforms have a similar design, they each retain their own [[ColorCodedCharacters individual colors]].
* SmugSuper: All three of them have this form of smugness and it varies between each other, and they just so happen to have similar FlyingBrick powers as the Powerpuff Girls and are stronger than ever since their revival.
* {{Tyke Bomb}}s: What they're apparently being trained to become.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Brick]]
!!Brick Brisbaine

The tactician and self-proclaimed leader.
----
* ArchEnemy: Brick's reason for participating in the project is to become stronger since he finds his previous defeat at the Powerpuff Girls' hands via kissing particularly humiliating.
* BerserkButton: The mere sight of the Powerpuff Girls is enough to send Brick into a violent rage, and he would've attacked and inflicted a brutal beatdown on them if it weren't for a combination of orders from high command to ''not'' fight them and a lot of SelfRestraint.
* ChickMagnet: Brick gets a ton of Valentine cards when they attend the school.
* TheLeader: Of the Rowdyruff Boys.
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: He has RapunzelHair and is a ChickMagnet in the Megaville Elementary School.
* NotSoStoic: The only things that would bring a reaction to his usual stoicism is his grudge against the Powerpuff Girls or dealing with his brothers' antics.
* PerpetualFrowner: He doesn't smile at all and is always seen with a neutral or grumpy expression.
* ItsPersonal: Brick has it out for the Powerpuff Girls '''badly''', stemming from the humiliation of being defeated from his initial unstable form reacting to their kisses.
* RapunzelHair: Brick's new look has his hair reaching near his feet, although it's not explained how he got it. [[HilariousInHindsight The comic predated the boys' new appearance in the TV show.]] Many amused expressions were had at this, some joking "Bleedman can see the future!".
* TheStoic: He rarely shows his emotions.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Boomer]]
!!Boomer Brisbaine

The cute and sensitive one.
----
* ChildrenAreInnocent: While kissing every female he sees on the cheek is one thing, Boomer is genuinely unperverse about it and is only trying to remember the feeling of Bubbles kissing him the first time as he's currently undergoing puberty. Both Jack and Agent Honeydew are well-aware and amused by this and gently give him TheTalk, much to Buttercup's confusion.
* LoveRedeems: Things appear to be moving in this direction with Boomer, given [[ShipTease his reaction]] to the memory of Bubbles' kiss.
* WhatIsThisFeeling: PlayedForLaughs with Boomer, as he's trying to understand the feeling of being kissed by Bubbles in his backstory. This leads to him kissing every female on the cheek near the end of chapter 11.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Butch]]
!!Butch Brisbaine

The toughest one.
----
* BloodKnight: Butch, and it even exceeds Buttercup's.
* TheBully:
** During the field test against Jenny, he rips off one of her arms and basically taunts her about giving her a "hand". When she refuses to "Say Uncle", Butch was more likely to blast her into pieces if it weren't for Brick stopping him and telling him to stand down.
** [[spoiler:How he acts towards Dexter in chapter 13 and onwards, such as flinging a locket at the latter at high speed, causing it to destroy whatever important research he's been doing of the current situation in the school's lab, and is just generally rude and condescending towards the boy genius.]]
* KickThemWhileTheyAreDown: Butch would've blasted Jenny to bits if Brick hadn't stopped him.
