The Anubis in the mythologies was also the one who judged the dead by placing their hearts to be weighed with the feather of Ma'at, with the guilty getting their hearts eaten by Ammit, similar to how he and his team would judge the MonstersOfTheWeek before finishing them off.

S.P.D.'s main Zords on the Earth Branch. They serve as both the A-Squad and B-Squad's Zords and can combine to form the Delta Squad Megazord.

* BigBadWannabe: Once he turns against Gruumm, he tries to conquer Earth himself. While Broodwing proves a legimate threat, he is never able to pose the same threat Gruumm is.

The elite team of Power Rangers SPD had and were the first active squad of Rangers seen when the season began.

* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Was this to the main heroes.
* AllThereInTheScript: Charlie's name is only mentioned in the end credits.
* BreakTheHaughty: At first, their superior skills were able to best B-Squad, and they even taunted them for being nothing but back ups. However, the B-Squad quickly proved them wrong with S.W.A.T mode, not only besting them on the ground, but in the Megazord fight.
* {{BFG}}: Their main weapons are some very big guns.
* CanonForeigner: They were created exclusively for ''SPD'' and have no Sentai counterpart.
* DirtyCop: A whole team of them.
* FaceHeelTurn: They willingly join Gruumm and were NotBrainwashed, although the comic adaptation retcons this to BrainwashedAndCrazy.
* FlatCharacter: Due to the short amount of screen time they have as villains, they have no real characterization beyond being egotistical evil rangers who switched sides.

* WhatMeasureIsAMook: If they fail Emperor Gruumm, he will destroy them, reducing them to a small metal chip, then turn that chip into a fresh new Blue-Head.

* ConservationofNinjutsu: How much of a threat these pose depends on their numbers. If there is just one of them, they prove a challenge. If a large number of them appear, the Rangers will use a power up to mow them down.
* DragonInChief: The first one served as this to Bugglesworth. Bugglesworth had no real capacity to fight, but the Orange-Head easily beat the Rangers in their initial battles.
* DegradedBoss: The first Orange-Head was a secondary MonsterOfTheWeek, being strong enough to require the Canine Cannon to destroy it.
* EliteMooks: They are the most powerful grunts Gruumm has. Every time they appear, the Rangers have a hard time defeating one. (At least initially, averted in future appearances.)
* FakeUltimateMook: By the second half of the series they are treated no differently than normal Krybots, to the point that people without powers and unmorphed rangers can easily defeat them.
* WakeUpCallBoss: Of these was the first villain to hand the Rangers a defeat.
* TheWorfEffect: [[KingpinInHisGym Morgana is seen easily destroying these]] before launching her plan with Shorty, showing how dangerous she was. Gruumm complimented her and said she would train with Krybots in the future because he couldn't have her destroying his best robots.

* WeCanRebuildHim: After his damaged saving Syd, he was to be thrown away. Syd was too grateful that she got Bridge and Boom to rebuild him. He becomes both a finishing weapon and Jack's Battlizers.

* TrueFinalBoss: With ''Series/PowerRangersCosmicFury'' marking the end of the original continuity, Emperor Gruumm serves as the last known opponent faced by the Power Rangers.

* NotSoDifferent: To Sam.

* GutturalGrowler: All of his dialogue is spoken with this voice.

Bridge trained with Sky and Syd as part of B-Squad, and was the analytical of the group, despite his oddness. When Emperor Gruumm attacked Earth, he was given the Green Ranger powers. He also has the ability to ready out people's energy readings.

* SuperMode: The core five Rangers gain access to S.W.A.T. Mode in the second half of the season. It gives them enhanced armor, tactical headsets, and the Delta Enforcers. It is also used to pilot the S.W.A.T. Megazord.

* CoolGun: The Delta Megazord's main weapon is the Delta Blaster, a hand blaster holstered in Delta Runner 3. Said Zord can use it in battle by itself.
