Even by Sixth Ranger standards, this is impressive. It's no surprise that Diabolico immediately tries to have him taken out of commission once he officially switched to the good guys' side.

* TooDumbToLive: When he and his father were talking, Ryan got angry and rushed him. They happened to be right next to a very steep cliff at the time. Had his father not caught onto a convenient tree-root, and had Ryan not had his morpher, at least one of them would've died. Then again, Ryan was filled with rage, fed by Diabalico's lies.

* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The only female villain other than Queen Bansheera, who isn't active until the last four episodes. True to form, Vypra's not as powerful as her comrades, but she's adept at manipulation; for instance, she uses Marina in a ploy to kill Chad.

* MoralityPet: At first it seemed like he was this to his mother Bansheera who praised him to the rangers as her heir in comparison to calling Diabolico unworthy and gave the Star Power to him when the yellow demon bites it the first time. However, it turns out that he was never a loved one to Bansheera at all, seeing him as a pawn at best and a failure at worst.

* ManipulativeBastard: How he got Ryan Mitchell on his side against the rangers is to convince him his father was heartless towards him when in reality, he tried saviong him as part of a deal with Diabolico.

* OfficialCouple: She gets together with Joel towards the end of the series. They are married when we next see them in Time Force.

* UnexplainedRecovery: [[spoiler: She digs herself out of a grave in ''Time Force'''s "Time for Lightspeed", even though her body was absorbed by Queen Bansheera. Unless the idea is that Bansheera was killed offscreen by the other demons and Vypra dug herself out of the underworld]].

* MeaningfulName: Is capable of actually emitting a sonic wail like a banshee (though she only does this once).
