The same picture appears for the pre-quest cutscene (with [[SuddenSoundtrackStop no music]] for good measure)... before crimson tendrils tear open a rift in space-time. Then the camera peers into a void growing in the pure white expanse and [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou brings you face-to-face with Gomorroth's Gomorus's glaring eye]].
* OneWingedAngel: Inverted at first, but played straight for the Emergency Quest. For the second part of the battle, it shrinks down to a speedier form. Said form is humanoid enough to ''almost'' cross the BishonenLine. In the last phase, Sodam merges with its Gomorroth Gomorus and becomes the [True] Profound Darkness.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: Its two forms are known as [[SoiledCityOnAHill Gomorroth Gomorus and Sodam]], fitting for ultimately being the product of a [[AbusivePrecursors society fallen to vice]].
