* AllForNothing: All of Donald's and miners from the Inner Bay organization to acquire their own West District Hypercube mine turned out to be this for two reasons. The first reason is how technologies have marched on as not only super-loop communication enables communication within the Black Ring, but also how unmanned mining drones controlled thanks to super-loop communication are more efficient than manual mining. That is why Inner Bay miners couldn't compete with Nirvana. The second reason is how Nirvana now deemed the Inner Bay Hypercube mine W-31 to be a negative asset due to the cost of outdated equipment and large work injury compensation costs from persistent Mania contamination. The miners protested against the mine's closure as it would cut off the last economic lifeline to the West District. That is why the company agreed on November 25, N.F. 104 to hand over mine W-31 to the people. Nirvana, however, didn't want their Hypercube monopoly to be threatened. That is why it implanted a secret code inside mine's robotic mechs to massacre their operators. Panic from the massacre allowed Corpus to call down the BR-002 which also caused rapid expansion of BR-000. While it was barely halted at the FAC's third Broken Frontline, surging contamination overtook all of the remaining safe spaces in the Inner Bay. This meant that mine W-31 was no longer operational. Thankfully by the end of Chapter 13, however, the situation has turned around. This is because the largest stand-alone Hypercube mine to date has risen out of the ruins of the BR-002 and although Nirvana tried to claim its ownership, Paradeisos has closed access to a certain technology based on the BR-002 Mania field due to security reasons. That is why super-loop communication can no longer be maintained inside the ruins and Nirvana's unmanned mining drones thus can't be used. That is why the new Inner Bay organization has bargaining power against Nirvana thanks to a seemingly forgotten manual mining technique that was preserved by Julien, the former leader of Rustfire.
* {{Brainwashed}}: When Donald gets captured, he gets marked by X, who is implied to be young Shalom, so that she can "make better use of him". Shalom's plan was for Donald to make a fake video of him betraying the Rustfire by defecting to Nirvana in order to collapse Rustfire from within due to the loss of leadership and trust. This worked as Donald is now considered a traitor by remaining Rustfire.
* {{Hunk}}: Donald is second tallest Sinner with height of 188 cm. Only Demon with height of 191 cm beat Donald.
* TheInfiltration: The Chief does not find out until Chapter 13 when they wake up from a coma, but it turns out that Donald was disguising himself as an Executive officer when they first met in Chapter 9 when the Chief was investigating the Drifter Camp to find the source of an unusual increase of residual contamination in the BR-004 lockdown area.

Spelling/grammar fix(es), Added example(s) for Bai Yi.

* LazyBum: K.K. and Che do all the actual work of Whitestone Industries, while she is seemingly ungrateful or ignorant of how much work they put in.

to:

* DarkerAndEdgier: Her ''Blade of Night'' skin does away with her carefree personality likely having just taken care of loose ends she doesn't think are worth mentioning. Some of her lines are flat BlatantLies about this, [[spoiler:enough to make one think of her Interrogation story and imply this is her real line of work.]]
--> '''Bai Yi (Greeting):''' You're finally back. I stayed here and didn't go out all this time when you were gone... Oh, you want to know about the stain on my cloak? Che accidentally spilled water on it. Yeah, that must be it.
* TheGadfly: She provides way more cheer for her group that K.K. would rather she translate into work, being rather teasing towards the Chief and enthusiastic about her advertisements.
* KatanasAreJustBetter: Her choice of weapons are katana. Given her Sinner power is to move at supersonic speed, a cut is all she needs to put someone down.
* LazyBum: K.K. and Che do all the actual work of Whitestone Industries, while she is seemingly ungrateful or ignorant of how much work they put in. She's pretty shameless enough to proclaim staying in the MBCC in her Idle line because she gets free food.
--> '''Bai Yi (Conversation 3):''' Whitestone is able to survive in Syndicate till today because I've poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this company. You really can't count on those two kids, for heaven's sake... Why are you looking at me like this? Am I not speaking the truth?

* MsFanservice: A pretty woman with long hair in a ponytail, her outfit consists of an open jacket revealing a bikini top over her large breasts and her pants conforming to all of her legs ''real tight''.

* SnakeOilSalesman: She is very insistent about shilling Whitestone Industries' services and ads. [[spoiler:Whatever shady job she keeps secret from the Chief and K.K. doesn't seem to bring in money (assuming it's money or something else she can't use) if she still complains about not having enough.]]

* TheAce: Cinnabar's biography states that she is excellent in physical skills, shooting, and anti-reconnaissance, and her intellect and physique make her better able to resist Mania erosion than most people.
** She is also renowned within her profession, being highly requested for protection and escort missions even after being detained in the MBCC.
* AmbiguouslyGay: Her interrogation dialogue is more intimate toward a Female Chief than a Male one. Notable differences include [[spoiler:wrapping her arm "tightly" around Fem!Chief after helping her up, being "flustered" at Fem!Chief's teasing, and hugging Fem!Chief during the scene where she is crying.
