However, after regaining her resolve, Christina continues to pursue truth and justice, and in the end is the only one who figures out Shalom's plan to control the Garden and successful stops it, while Coquelic's rage ironically blinds her to Shalom's manipulations, which would have allowed her to play into Shalom's hand if not for Christina's intervention. Christina in the end declares that vengeance will never heal her and successfully save Coquelic by reminding her that her love for the Garden is more important than her needs for vengeance.
