She also largely abandons her feelings of superiority towards those she normally would dismiss as commoners, as seen by her viewing Saito, who would be considered a commoner by Tristain's standards, as both her equal and her best friend.

* WrongGenreSavy: [[spoiler:Her attempt at infiltrating the Team Flare-occupied power plant is clearly driven by her love of brave warrior stories, where the hero cleverly defeats the villains and easily saves the day. Instead, she finds out the hard way that TheGuardsMustBeCrazy does ''not'' apply and gets swiftly captured. The Flare admins further mock her foolishness and refuse to monologue about their evil plans, at which point Henrietta realizes that those stories are just a little unrealistic.]]

* TheFriendNoOneLikes: No one particularly enjoys Maindo's {{Jerkass}} attitude, and they mostly put up with him because he's one of the strongest Pokémon in the group. Odachi, who hatched after he got on the nerves of the others, is the only one that currently has any positive real interaction with him.

* BreakTheHaughty: Her loss to Viola did this to her. Louise entered the battle thinking that, simply because both of her Pokémon had type advantage over Viola's Bug-type Pokémon, she'd be able to easily beat her. She ends up getting her entire team completely wiped out by Viola's Surskit, teaching her not to rely purely on type advantage and instead actually train and incorporate strategy into her battles.

This is chalked up to her being in a much more supportive environment than the one she had at home, leading to a much better mental state where she wasn't as overwhelmed with trying to live up to her society's expectations.

* BirdsOfAFeather: With her chosen starter, the shiny Fennekin Brennaraki. As a shiny Fennekin, Brennaraki was highly sought after by collectors, none of whom cared that she wanted to be a battler. Combined with her being the runt of the litter, it was easy for her and Louise to form a close bond due to Louise experiencing similar issues in her life.
