* PerpetuallyProtean: She has a basic shape, that a tall woman with "palm tree hair", but beyond that her appearance never stay the same from panel to panel. All of her colors keep switching, including gaining multicolored hair at times, and her skin goes through all coloration ([[https://danielscreations.com/ola/comics/ep0682.html even turning transparent one time]). The details of her garments varies greatly too, often asymmetrically, her clothes even disappearing once (and she uses her hat as a HandOrObjectUnderwear). Not to mention other physical attributes, like suddenly growing a tail or a second pair of arms, or her face momentarily replacing her midriff.

[[folder:'''Spoiler Character''']]

'''Mortaridar'''

Mortaridar (he prefers to be called Morty) is a Demon Lord from the previous age, and is quite possibly the most powerful non-deity character in the comic. He was sealed in another dimension by King Tegretol's father, which was expected to last for centuries. At least, until he was unsealed early...

* DealWithTheDevil: It turns out he was the one who Maxo made a deal for a wish with. He abused this to escape by taking the form of a resurrected Candesco.
* NighInvulnerability: King Tegretol's party throws all their strongest attacks at him once he reveals himself. All they manage to do is physically knock him down for a few seconds.
* OutsideContextVillain: While the DealWithTheDevil did reveal the existence of a demonic entity of some kind, it didn't reveal that he's a bigger threat than ''the entire Souballo Empire put together''. And there's no clue what he's going to try to do now that he's unsealed...
* SealedEvilInACan:
** He was sealed in the Chaotic plane of [=BloddenGogga=], which was supposed to hold him for centuries. [[NiceJobBreakingItHero Maxo inadvertently broke the seal early.]]
** The elven castle basically turns itself into the new can, by putting up a dimensional lock on itself. [[spoiler:Keep in mind that it already was trying to contain Angelo and Brian.]]
* ToThePain: Right before killing Percy, Morty describes exactly how he's going to do it.
--> "I'm going to crush you until your head pops off and then I'll paint the halls of this castle with your blood."

[[folder:Quizmalia, the Lady of Fate and Fortune]]
A (probably) ChaoticNeutral deity with a strange sense of fashion. [[spoiler: Appears in Julie's dreams as the Palm Tree Ghost.]] She created the Magicant, a wish granting potential ArtifactOfDoom, and threw it into the world of mortals ForTheLulz. Since then however, she's decided to have someone more responsible go seek it.

* WildCard: See also: Chaotic deity named the Lady of Fate and Fortune.
* BigGood: In charge of the dungeons that hold the pieces of the Magicant, and is the source of outsider help for Coumadin. Also has a vested interest in seeing the Magicant in the hands of Good, [[spoiler: if her free counsel to Julie is any clue.]]

The [[WeirdSun Sun]]/[[WeirdMoon Moon]] that shines above Manjulias. Transforms into the other at Dusk/Dawn, respectively, with a giant explosion.

* {{Narrator}}: Serves this role in establishing shots, which creeps Angelica out to no end.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Nehhilio ''explodes'' in order to ''turn into the moon.'' This explosion is so large, incidentally, that a reasonably high-INT character can mistake the orange sky of Zebro for it.
* ArtShift: is played by two photos of humans, a man and a woman, respectively.

[[folder:Joyelle the Erinyes]]
[[quoteright:207:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Joyelle_9697.jpg]]
'''Joyelle the Erinyes'''

->''"I would smile, but I lack the facial muscles required to do so."''

Joyelle is an enigmatic Devil, known as a "Force of Joyless Toil". She was introduced as a monster for Julie and her friends to fight before arriving in the city of Autumnson. She originally had the mission of destroying Jordie, a Cleric destined to meet up with Julie.

* BlackMagic: Joyelle can use the magic spell "Unholy Blight" whenever she wants. The spell is specifically designed to kill and sicken creatures with good hearts.
* TheComicallySerious: Joyelle's so utterly serious that the font she uses in her speech bubbles is different than normal.
* DarkActionGirl
* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette:
* EvilIsSexy: In-universe example. Rocky commented that "it was actually kinda hot, in an evil librarian sort of way."
* {{Flight}}
* {{Foil}}: The serious, unfunny half of the dynamic Joyelle and Zeggriz share.
* GenreBlind: Led to her downfall.
* TheHeartless: Joyelle has been described by Julie as "an evil incarnation of joyless toil."
* HonorBeforeReason: Joyelle gives Julie's group a chance to rest before fighting them, and when they do fight Joyelle fights fairly (for the most part).
* ItIsDehumanizing: Most of Julie's group don't refer to the Erinyes as a female, but as a genderless monster.
* [[spoiler: KilledOffForReal: Along with Zeggriz.]]
* LawfulEvil[[invoked]]: In keeping with the [[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons source material]] this comic pays homage to in regards to Devils.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent: Though she's a Devil.
* OutsideContextVillain: Aside from her being here to hunt down and destroy Jordie (and Julie as a plan B target), there is next to no information on why this devil is in the story.
* PerpetualFrowner: Joyelle physically ''can't'' smile because the Erinyes lacks the facial muscles.
* SpeechBubbles: Joyelle's are dark red with yellow text, symbolizing she's an evil outsider.
* SpockSpeak: Never uses contractions when speaking, and even uses a less comic-y font in her speech balloons.
* VillainTeleportation: Can use this at will, but oddly enough did [[HonorBeforeReason not use this to her advantage]] when battling Julie and her friends.
* WingedHumanoid: Joyelle resembles some kind of fallen angel.

[[folder:Zeggriz the Imp]]
[[quoteright:202:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Zeggriz_4455.jpg]]
'''Zeggriz the Imp'''

->''"For Sarbek's Sake, this is so BORING! Go Back to talking about your feats, lack of enchanted weapons, and weaknesses."''

Zeggriz is the snarky underling of Joyelle, spying and performing other errands.

* BeleagueredAssistant: Doesn't seem to enjoy working for Joyelle at all.
* DeadpanSnarker: Mouths off to Joyelle whenever possible.
* DirtyCoward: Would rather go invisible and sit in the sidelines than help Joyelle fight.
* {{Flight}}
* {{Foil}}: Supplies the less serious half to the dynamic Zeggriz and Joyelle share.
* TheImp: Appropriately enough.
* {{Invisibility}}: One of Zeggriz's powers, and uses it for spying.
* [[spoiler:KilledOffForReal: Along with Joyelle.]]
* LawfulEvil[[invoked]]: Not nearly as uptight as Joyelle, though.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent: Though a devil like Joyelle.
* SmallAnnoyingCreature: Definitely to Lenny, and probably to Joyelle as well.
* SpeechBubbles: Zeggriz's are dark red with yellow text, though in the normal font unlike [[SpockSpeak Joyelle's.]]

Calor is an Ice Devil hired by the Souballo Empire to capture Jordie

* AnIcePerson: Duh. He uses his ice powers to block the door of the Justice Warriors cabin so they wouldn't get involved with his fight, and frost grows wherever he stands.
* BodyHorror: has diamond shaped holes in his limbs.
* KnightOfCerebus: competent, serious, and has taken Jordie away from he party for the time being
* OurDemonsAreDifferent: Blue,has ice powers, and holes in his limbs.
* WouldHurtAChild: Janice gleefully watches as he reaps the souls of children
