She is rather intelligent, perceptive, persistent, and caring, but she is also shown to be extremely self-deprecating, self-sabotaging, and fairly skeptical, implying trust issues with both others and herself. Mystic also has trouble moving past her mistakes and tends to have a short temper; this is particularly notable during the times she gets angry when people like [[spoiler:Envy]] try to derail and/or end the story, as she believes [[spoiler:it's the only way she can actually have an impact on anything and where she can be a hero]]. After being let into the fandom by Mystic, he becomes enamored with her; however throughout the series, it's implied that [[spoiler:he would've fallen in love with her anyway, as the soul of his first love is inside of her]]. He has a disturbing obsession with her being innocent and pure and believes that she can [[spoiler:lower the barrier between reality and fiction]].
