* HollywoodAutism: Pretty much averted; Mystic goes against it not only by being female, but also by being able to have some basic cognitive empathy, (something which tends to be a learned skill with autistic people) being able to understand memes and even use them, somewhat, appropriately.
* TheIngenue: Tends to be averted, despite the villains seeing her/treating her as one. While she can be kind-hearted and wants to be loved, she tends to drop f-bombs on the regular, even in her first-person narration. On top of that, she can be short-tempered and willing to throw hands when need be.

God. She is rather intelligent, perceptive, persistent, and caring, but she is also shown to be extremely self-deprecating, self-sabotaging, and fairly skeptical, implying trust issues with both others and herself. Mystic also has trouble moving past her mistakes and tends to have a short temper; this is particularly notable during the times she gets angry when people like [[spoiler:Envy]] try to derail and/or end the story, as she believes [[spoiler:it's the only way she can actually have an impact on anything and where she can be a hero]]. She also doesn't like the idea of taking shortcuts, as she believes there's no merit in doing so.
