* TooDumbToLive: Possibly; he died from heading into a cold region wearing naught but a loincloth. Then again, Oars. Jr was quite grateful for the hat Ace made that protected him from the elements, so it could be that Oars simply ''couldn't'' wear any protective clothing his size.

* AlwaysABiggerFish: Oars is four times taller than normal giants and therefore physically very powerful. Combined with Luffy's shadow, Oars the zombie is by far the most powerful zombie under Moria. It takes the effort of the entire Straw Hat crew (plus Brook, who hadn't joined yet) to defeat him. By the time of the Wano arc, giants of similar height appear under Kaidou's crew, who get defeated by the Straw Hats very easily. In fact, Luffy's Gear 4th: Bound-Man, which is comparable to Nightmare Luffy, defeats one of the Numbers in just one hit, showing how much stronger he has gotten since the fight with Oars, and it also demonstrates that Moria's zombie army wouldn't have been enough to take the on Animal Kingdom Pirates, since the Tobi Roppo are also capable of one-shotting the Numbers.

* GirlishPigtails: She has these pre-timeskip, to emphasize her childish personality. She now wears a more womanly hairdo.

* PerkyFemaleMinion: What she has become to Mihawk post-timeskip, which is quite a feat given how reclusive Mihawk usually is.
