* BigBrotherMentor: After being introduced to IZuku through Tamaki, Mirio takes it upon himself to cheer Izuku up and pushes Tamaki into being a mentor too.

* BunnyEarsLawyer: The man said to be the best possible successor to One For All also happens to be a complete goofball who thinks nothing of leaping through walls on his way to school.

* SupremeChef: Parodied. Despite her wealth, she intentionally makes an aggressively average Japanese school lunch with all the stereotypical fixings like rice and hot dogs. Izuku even says that she had to ''try'' to make it taste this average after painstakingly crafting it to match a bento box from ''Anime/KaguyaSamaLoveIsWar''. She did this intentionally to indulge in her slice-of-life anime fantasy.

* BenevolentBoss: Lexi treats Mercy well and wonders if she isn't paying Mercy enough when she notices her [[SneakingSnacks sneaking away finger food]] at a party. As for everyone else at [=LexCorp=], [[BadBoss she will reduce them to apologies and groveling]] if they so much as think of questioning her interests, hobbies, and the amount of respect she has for her family's legacy.

** She tries to ask Izuku to eat lunch with her on U.A.'s rooftop and makes an "aggressively average" and stereotypical bento box to eat at lunch.

* OccidentalOtaku: She loves Japanese culture and is more interested in the anime she's following than her board meeting. When she drags Izuku into her limo, he has to wade through more than a half-dozen bags from Animate, Book-Off, and Kinokuniya. She also looks forward to invoking numerous anime tropes, like running out of the house with a piece of toast in her mouth in the morning.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Subverted. She offers to help fix the U.A. Barrier after it was breached by an unknown assailant, but tells Nedzu she doesn't want U.A.'s money, asking for something far more valuable than that.

* HumanPopsicle: Mirio gets encased in a block of ice by Izuku's Super-Breath during their spar. He quickly frees himself simply by phasing out of it.

He's also remarkably nonchalant about breaking his whole arm by punching Izuku, all while continuing to point out that he'll soon collapse from shock the moment he loses his composure.
* PieEyes: Has these in a stark contrast to the more traditionally anime-style characters.

Born and bred in Gotham City, and proud of it.
