* YouGotSpunk:
** While she initially shows Midoriya contempt for rebuking her offer to become friends, she's impressed and amused at the amount of spine he's able to show between his constant stuttering and nervousness.
** While attending her first day of school at U.A., she's swarmed by reporters who either confront her on her apathetic behavior or try to schmooze her in hopes of getting quotes. The former reporter has his microphone shoved in his mouth. The latter gets answered, but not before Lexi says, "No one likes a suck up." under her breath.

* BadassNormal: Technically averted, like most people she has a quirk. However, her quirk does not help her in a fight. She's a skilled martial artist and acrobat. But her ability to dig up dirt on anyone allows her to terrify Midoriya more than any normal Villain could when she starts rattling off his life story to him.

* {{Irony}}: Lexi writes off Midoriya as someone her grandfather would have never cared about based on first impressions. Little does she know that in most alternate realities, Lex was ''obsessed'' with defeating and/or killing Superman. For further irony, many versions of Lex Luthor was notoriously unwilling or unable to recognize Superman's true identity simply because his ego couldn't accept the idea of a god-like being wanting to be treated like a normal person. Lexi by contrast couldn't be bothered to care otherwise, and is thoroughly intrigued by Izuku's duality, and figured out who he really was long before they even physically meet.
