* AmbiguousGender: The game never alludes to the player character's gender, leaving it up to their interpretation. Furthered by the hidden text in the OmegaEnding implying that it's merely Ame making things up.

** Jumps off of what is presumably the top of [[spoiler:her apartment building on-stream in the “There Are No Angels” ending, much to the horror of her chat.]]

** She may accuse another female streamer of flirting, but there are two endings where she ends up having a relationship with another man, and she can participate in Dinder blind dates which involve her throwing herself into dating complete strangers. {{Lampshaded|Trope}} in several of her posts that maybe it is just that easy to have MoralMyopia, as Ame discovers that her often fails to do any better than those she once ridiculed when she was put into their shoes.

* IJustWantToBeLoved: Her main motivation for taking up the persona of [=KAngel=]. She’s so desperate to make it as an Internet personality because in her mind they’ll be loved no matter what, so if she becomes one she’ll finally receive the love and devotion she’s been so sorely craving.

* JerkassHasAPoint: While her mental breakdown while doing so can only described as a senseless, horrifying descend into insanity, Ame calling out her chat and haters in the [[spoiler: Internet Overdose ending is quite justified even if she does it in a Jerkass manner given that at this point the haters are not only throwing inflammatory comments left and right, but even ''doxxing'' her real name and location.]]

** PlayedForHorror in the [[spoiler:Internet Overdose ending when [=KAngel=] “murders” Ame and replaces her.]]

* DoNotGoGentle: InvokedTrope. According to Ame, becoming [=KAngel=] is an attempt to make herself go out in a blaze in the face of her inevitable doom.

* WardrobeMalfunction: [=KAngel=]’s shirt bursts open during the Sexy 2 stream, making her panic. Considering the stream category, it was likely intentional.

* DependingOnTheWriter: In the manga adaptations (the anthologies or the ''RUN WITH MY SICK'' version), P-Chan is sometimes present in physical form, other times they don't and the panels outright show things like 2 computers or sex toys that suggest Ame is talking to herself. Assuming if they do have a physical form, how they look like also depends on the artist; there's one chapter in the official anthology that depicts them as a man with a cat's head, the ''Midnight Streaming Love'' anthology depicts them as a deformed-style cat, and the ''RUN WITH MY SICK'' version takes the form of a full-grown man with an established back story.

* AmbiguousSituation: It's unclear if this P-Chan is actually a real person or an illusion in Ame's head like the in-game version. He does have an official backstory before he's roped in Ame's home and became her producer, and he's shown physically purchasing streaming equipment and doing the work for Ame, but the circumstances behind his kidnapping is...very bizzare, at the least. On top of him being a grown man and a prestiged idol producer that looks at least twice the age of Ame who is somehow being convinced and roped to work for a dubious nobody like her, Ame is also very abusive and toxic to him and her behavior wouldn't be tolerated even on day 1, despite he obviously has the ability to leave on his own to call the cops in such a situation no matter what. One possible explanation, as indicated by his word, is that his judgement is clouded by desperation and hatred, willing to endure anything to restore his name and get back at those wronged him, but even then, he shouldn't be working with someone as unstable as Ame on first sight. All in all, it's made blurry if he is even a real person or still something Ame made up herself.

* GreenEyedMonster: In the ''RUN WITH MY SICK'' Manga, Ame got Noah to drop school and livestream like her, and the other girl gets 1.5 million viewers in an hour compared to [=KAngel's=] [=1.9M=] through contracting a large studio, and her response is to get incredibly depressed that she starts cutting her own wrists before she and P-chan vow and resolves to outperform her. This happens primarily because she reminded her of everything she doesn't have -- a loving family, wealth, and connections.

* GirlishPigtails: Played with; Ame is implied to be a young adult, but still sports youthful pigtails. However, not only are her pigtails reminiscent of many otaku culture icons, the youthful appearance is also strikingly fitting for her notorious emotional immaturity (see {{Womanchild}} below).

* SoBeautifulItsACurse: No, it's not played as a [[CommonMarySueTraits Common Mary Sue Trait]]. Ame was bullied in her primary school over her pretty looks and it ''is'' debilitating to her psyche just like her mom trying to sell her body.

* TheBully: This girl picked on Ame at school, and according to Ame, it happens frequently, too.
* SoBeautifulItsACurse: No, it's not played as a [[CommonMarySueTraits Common Mary Sue Trait]]. Ame is bullied in her primary school over her pretty looks and it ''is'' debilitating to her psyche just like her mom trying to sell her body.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Just like Ame's mother, the bullying in her primary school has contributed to Ame's mental instability and self-hatred to an extent, and contributes to her dropping from education at secondary.

* HatesTheJobLovesTheLimelight: DownPlayedTrope. Being [=KAngel=], while not a completely bad experience for her and she did profess her love for her fans in her private account, she still did everything because she wanted unconditional affection and money without having to get a real job rather than any enhusiasm in streaming as a hobby, and it stresses her out nearly every time she does a stream (the only exception being the milestone streams and [[spoiler:any stream she does after the last one]]), and she has some unflattering views toward her fans, but she continues at it regardless because she DesperatelyCravesAffection.

** She complains that netizens are too easy to be provoke online and vows to make the Internet a more friendly place, but she she gets mad to the same negative comments very easily, actually [[spoiler:goes insane over them in the "Internet Overdose" ending]] and has the option to participate in flame wars.

* SupportingProtagonist: You play as them, and they are the one who sets up Ame's streams, makes most of the decisions for her, and has the power of her fate in their hands. But the story is really about Ame herself and her journey to become the biggest streamer in the world, as well as her struggles with her mental issues. Notably, Ame is the mascot and the one on the covers and promotional material (along with her alter-ego [=KAngel=]) while P-chan is nowhere to be seen. However, this becomes subverted with TheReveal that P-chan is Ame's ''other'' [[ImaginaryFriend alter-ego, meaning Ame is the protagonist after all.]]

* UngratefulBastard: Ame got Noah to drop school and livestream like her, and the other girl gets 1.5 million viewers in an hour compared to [=KAngel's=] [=1.9M=], and her response is to get incredibly depressed that she starts cutting her own wrists before she and P-chan vow and resolve to outperform her. There's no congrats or any compliment from Ame despite she's Noah mentor, which only goes to indicate how troubled she actually is.

* SuperiorSuccessor: After being "enlightened" by Ame, Noah drops university to livestream on her own and gets 1.5 million viewers in one hour. This ''pisses and depresses'' Ame off.
