This not only hardened him to a harsh reality, but also left him despondent on having any hope that people will ever see him differently than a child who brings forth destruction. Lady Yin rightfully points out that Ne Zha doesn't truly hate the people of his town, but just the fact that they don't ever try to see him as another person.
