The instant Helvi's informed of it, she detects the magic placed on her, breaks the spell, and realizes she ''isn't'' a virgin, but in fact is very, very well versed in sex, so that removes her biggest hang-ups about having sex with Theo. Gina is able to survive it because of her [Steel Magic] body strengthening, and he uses it to tear off his own arm, but it's utterly useless when he tries it on Helvi by punching her in the abdomen.
