* BodyHorror: Each of them though differing in what their bodies look like, have one thing in common - the top of their head is missing, exposing their entire brain.

* DumbMuscle: The Nomus are unable to think or rationalize things and only have the intelligence of a wild animal at best besides glimpses of their human memories, so they're only used like this.
* EliteMook: The Artificial Humans created after the U.S.J. Nomu (except the High-End Nomus). More dangerous than the [[{{Mooks}} thugs]] used during the USJ Arc, but not as strong as the U.S.J. Nomu itself, with a few ones being more successful than others (like the one used during the School Trip Arc).
* EmptyShell: Nomu are made from victims of All for One that were unable to handle the Quirks he gave them, leaving them mindless husks which he then mutates into super soldier servants. Having no wills of their own, Nomu only act on direct orders from All for One or his chosen subordinates. Without orders to follow, Nomu become nearly catatonic and unresponsive to all outside stimuli making them easy to contain despite their power.

* SparedByTheAdaptation: Ambiguous. The news report in the anime says all three were captured, which indicates all three survived. However, given that we already know the news is inaccurate given that they're reporting that Endeavor captured Stain, it's not clear if the news can be trusted on the matter. It's also possible they counted retrieving their dead bodies as "capturing", which is especially likely as Endeavor is shown killing the black-skinned Nomu.

* WingedHumanoid: The winged Nomu.

A member of the Vanguard Action Squad that attacked U.A. during the School Trip Arc. Its Quirk "Tool Arms" allows it to generate six arms from its body that end in artificial tools.

* AndIMustScream: It's implied that the Noumus maintain a certain degree of their memories and consciousness, however, how much they are able to access and feel is unknown.

* ComboPlatterPowers: Noumu are given whatever Quirks out of All for One's collection that he considers useful for them, often resulting in combinations of vastly different powers. This allows All for One to tailor-make them to fit whatever purpose he desires regardless of how powerful they were as humans.
* DegradedBoss: The U.S.J. Noumu was powerful enough to give All Might a significant challenge. While still powerful enough to battle an entire group of pro heroes alone, none of the Artificial Humans introduced later are close to being as strong or resilient as the U.S.J. one until Hood, a Noumu with far more intelligence and Quirks at its disposal [[spoiler:being powerful enough to defeat Endeavor alone]]. * LawOfChromaticSuperiority: Noumus with jet black skin are said to be stronger than those with lighter skin. It's definitely the case with the U.S.J. Noumu and Hood, the latter being able to spawn White Noumus to back him up.

The original Noumu, the League's strongman and a secret weapon to destroy All Might. His Quirks are "Shock Absorption" and "Regeneration", and he's incredibly strong even without the aid of other Quirks. He was created with the help of All For One and the doctor who serves under All For One.

* CoveredInScars: This Noumu has multiple scars on its arms which are permanent, no doubt caused by experimentation.
* DumbMuscle: UpToEleven. He's designed to be only responsive to the League of Villains and a brutal opponent for All Might. That's it. If he's not in the presence of an enemy that he is reflexively programmed to attack, or not given any orders, he doesn't do much of anything at all. If he's restrained and captured, Noumu goes basically ''brain-dead''. It's impossible to get any information out of him because he's like a vegetable. The police wondered why it did that, but really, Noumu has no reason to respond to anyone or anything outside of its directives. The other Noumus share that quality.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: When he first showed up, Shigaraki simply called him Noumu as if it were a proper name.

* LogicalWeakness: As All Might points out, his Quirk is Shock ''Absorption'', not nullification. If it ''absorbs'' impacts, then there should logically be a limit to how much force it can hold, and it's just a matter of hitting the Noumu enough to overload it. Shigaraki also suggests gouging away his flesh with low-impact but abrasive attacks, but Noumu's HealingFactor means that won't defeat him, and he wouldn't just let them do it anyway.

* AllYourPowersCombined: It has at least ''six'' Quirks, and infers it may be gaining more. Most Noumus can barely manage two.

* BodyHorror: Its vertebrae are massive and poke through its skin, giving it a pronounced hunch. While its exposed brain is harder to see than other Noumus, it's still quite horrifying. Bits of its neck's muscle peak through it and its head seems to be INSIDE its neck, with only its eyes being visible.
* EnemySummoner: Has a Quirk that allows it to either spawn weaker Noumus or stores them inside its body to be release later.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: It's referred to as High-End like it's his actual name. Later on it's shown that this is actually an appellation for all of the advanced Noumus, and it's proper name is "Hood".

* HealingFactor: It possesses the "Super Regeneration" Quirk, like the U.S.J. Noumu. [[spoiler:It's even able to survive after tearing off its own neck and head to dodge Endeavor's fire blast.]]
