->''"When you bring a living being into this world, you have a responsibility towards them. Your duty is to protect them, love them, help them discover the true meaning of their existence. To deprive them of that... is monstrous."''

Adrien's cousin, whom he hasn't seen in a year. He seeks to obtain the Peacock Miraculous to free Adrien from his father (and later, Kagami from her mother).

In "Strikeback", he is given the Dog Miraculous while disguised as Adrien and becomes Flairmidable, a so-called "superhero" with his own agenda.

In "Emotion" he transforms with the Peacock Miraculous into the villain later turned hero Argos.

[[folder:A-D]]
* AbominationAccusationAttack: [[spoiler:"Representation" reveals that in his last moments of life, Colt used his Amok to not only control Félix whenever he wanted, but call him a monster and demean him.]]
* AbusiveParents: In "Pretension", while protecting Kagami from her akumatized mother, he confided in her that his late father Colt Fathom was even worse than Tomoe.[[spoiler: ''Representation'' revealed that Colt, dying from using the Peacock Miraculous to create Félix, spent his remaining moments torturing and denouncing his son as a monster.]] But this doesn't apply to his mother.
* AbhorrentAdmirer: Disguised as Adrien, he flirts with Ladybug and tries to kiss her at one point, something that sets her off and [[OutOfCharacterAlert leads her to know that he is not the real Adrien]]. He initially was this to Kagami as well, till she called him out on stalking and kidnapping her.
* TheAce: He can dunk a basketball into a basket just by moving his arm while standing with the basket behind him, and like Adrien, he takes martial arts lessons, knows how to effectively play chess and card games. "Multiplication" reveals he's also the youngest person to graduate from high school in England.
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: The original Félix didn't have much backstory in the original PV. In here, Félix not only has to deal with [[spoiler:being an ArtificialHuman who was treated horribly by his father in the latter's dying moments, but having to live with the idea that as long as the Peacock Miraculous was not in his possession, his entire existence could be recalled. Even after obtaining what he wants in the season 4 finale, he still has to worry about his cousin and love interest still being under their controlling parents with Félix himself not knowing how to help them.]]
* AdaptationalBadass: The original Félix was powerful only while donning the Cat Miraculous, and was otherwise a normal human boy. This Félix not only proves to be stronger, faster, and smarter than the average human, [[spoiler:but he dons two Miraculous through his run in the show, first the Dog, then the Peacock.]]
* AdaptationalContextChange: His ring. In the original PV, it was the Cat Miraculous, which housed Plagg and allowed him to become Cat Noir. In here, [[spoiler:it's his amokized item, taken from his dying father in order to ensure his own existence wasn't compromised.]]
* AdaptationalIntelligence: Granted, we didn't get to see much of the original Félix in the original PV, but nothing indicated he was smarter than the average human. ''This'' Félix not only graduated high school in the youngest age possible in England, [[spoiler:but he pulls off one hell of a gambit to trade all the Miraculous in the box from Ladybug to Gabriel, in exchange for gaining the Peacock Miraculous, which he's been trying to get since he first appeared in Season 3.]]
* AdaptationalJerkass: Original Félix was aloof, but that was about it. ''This'' Félix is an outright prick who treats people as beneath him and only bothers to act nice to a very select few people, including his cousin.
* AdaptationalLateAppearance: The original PV featured Félix as Cat Noir from the start. In the show proper, it takes Félix until the final few episodes of Season 3 in order to properly debut.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** In the original PV, Félix was Cat Noir, and thus had Plagg as a companion. In the show proper, the two are complete strangers.
** Alongside being Cat Noir, he also was partners with the original Ladybug, who had a crush on him. Ladybug and Félix don't meet until season 3, and their interaction is anything but loving.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: The original Félix was purely human. This Félix [[spoiler:is a human-like Sentimonster created by his father through his use of the Peacock Miraculous in order to get his wife pregnant.]]
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: The original Félix was a wielder of the Cat Miraculous. In here, he not only gets the Dog Miraculous instead, but then [[spoiler:gains possession of the Peacock Miraculous by the season 4 finale.]]
* AdaptationalVillainy: Original Félix was one of the heroes. In here, he's one of the main antagonists [[spoiler:before he decides to become TheAtoner by the events of "Emotion".]]
* AllPowerfulBystander: [[spoiler:Despite holding possession of the Peacock Miraculous and being able to create sentimonsters that could end Monarch's reign for good, after the events of "Emotion", Félix ends up ChoosingNeutrality and refuses to get involved in the conflict between the heroes and the villains, only showing up near the end during "Representation" to provide some exposition to Marinette in order to help her prepare for the final battle.]]
* AlliterativeName: '''F'''élix '''F'''athom.
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Like the previous Peacock Miraculous users, Félix gains blue skin when he transforms into Argos.
* AmbiguouslyEvil: DoubleSubversion. For his first two appearances, Félix's characterisation is mean-spirited and manipulative but geared towards a hidden agenda, making it uncertain as to where he sits on the fence. The ambiguity ceases when he betrays Ladybug to trade the Miraculouses under her watch and his aunt's wedding ring to Gabriel for the Peacock Miraculous, but to be revealed as an AntiVillain who plotted to remove his power-mad terrorist of an uncle from the picture when the time was right despite endangering thousands of innocent Parisians in the process. ''Then'' that changes when [[spoiler:Félix is made to see how he's turning into Gabriel after spearheading the events of "Emotion", causing him to decide to turn over a new leaf and make amends, but given his BlueAndOrangeMorality, it's not made clear how good he actually became by the end.]]
* AmbiguouslyHuman: Félix's status as a human was quite questionable even during his first appearance: he showed himself to be faster, stronger, and smarter than the average person, with background information revealing feats that no normal human could accomplish, and he also has a tendency to [[StealthHiBye appear out of thin air]] without a Miraculous superpower. [[spoiler:"Representation" eventually reveals that he's actually a Sentimonster created by his father using the Peacock Miraculous to get his wife pregnant, but this only brings up the question of how much human and how much Sentimonster he really is.]]
* AnimalStereotypes: Inverted and PlayedStraight on two different Miraculous.
** He becomes the wielder of the Dog Miraculous during the Season 4 finale and [[DogStereotype dogs are most often associated with friendship, loyalty and honesty]]. Félix's [[EmbodimentOfVice defining trait is his lack of honesty]], being a ConsummateLiar and a thief. He also has no real loyalties beyond familial affection towards his mother, all of his partnerships are either circumstantial or unsubstantial. Considering he only got his hands on the Dog Miraculous through dishonest means (impersonating his cousin to manipulate Gabriel) and Ladybug meant to give it to Adrien (who actually ''does'' display these virtues), this could just be a sign that he was unfit to wield it. Naturally, it's all a coincidental parallel to Adrien wielding the Cat Miraculous.
** By the end of Season 4 and through most of Season 5, he ends up in the possession of the Peacock Miraculous. Peacocks are typically associated with power and elegance, fitting not only how Félix typically carries himself, but how he proves to be one of the most powerful Peacock wielders in the series. [[ProudPeacock They also tend to symbolize pride and arrogance]], fitting how Félix's first debuted as an arrogant brat who believed himself to be better than everybody else. Finally, the Peacock symbolizes metamorphosis and new beginnings, fitting how [[spoiler:by the end of "Emotion", Félix decides to turn over a new leaf and become a neutral party instead of a supervillain.]]
* AndThenWhat: His main plan in "Emotion" is [[spoiler:to create a world where he, Adrien, and Kagami are free from controlling parental figures, primarily by using Red Moon to snap away anybody who tries to control them.]] It seems to have escaped his mind that [[spoiler:snapping away anybody who seems a bit controlling could lead to the world going into chaos as this could very well include political figures or other people necessary to keep the world running. This is without considering how Adrien and Kagami might not actually be content with the ''way'' he desires to create his "perfect world".]]
* AntiVillain: [[spoiler:What he actually becomes as Argos. "Emotion" has him make it clear that he wants to use the Peacock Miraculous in order to create a world where he, Adrien, and Kagami are free from their controlling parents, which isn't a bad goal at all. The problem comes from the fact that his way of doing so is creating a Sentimonster that lets him snap away anybody who even shows a bit of controlling behavior, or defiance towards him, essentially becoming no better than Gabriel in the process. Realizing this has him horrified and decides to make amends and become a more neutral-good presence than an outright villain.]]
* AristocratsAreEvil: [[spoiler: His family are British nobility and Félix betrayed the heroes and endangered thousands of people to get what he wanted. When transformed into Argos, his costume resembles a gentleman's suit with a hood. Félix, himself, is a bit more complicated: while he played the trope straight when he first appeared, later episodes make his morality a lot more ambiguous, with later revelations in season 5 making it unclear if he can even be classified in the "good and evil" morality scale anymore.]]
* ArtificialHuman: [[spoiler: After a few seasons worth of {{foreshadowing}}, ''Representation'' revealed that he is a Sentimonster as [[BornOfMagic his natural birth was made possible by the Peacock Miraculous.]]]]
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: He is arrogant enough to start a fight with three supervillains, and he actually holds his own and even manages to steal the akumatized object. [[spoiler: ''Representation'' revealing that he's actually a Sentimonster makes this make a bit more sense, since he's actually strong enough to contend with the heroes and villains.]]
* AscendedExtra: He was originally a OneShotCharacter from one of the last episodes of Season 3. Season 4 would eventually expand on his character until he became a major player by the season finale.
* TheAtoner: [[spoiler:After being made to see the error of his ways in "Emotion", and how he was turning into the same kind of person that Gabriel, he decides to make amends by returning everyone he snapped away using Red Moon, and decides to leave the heroes alone afterwards. [[HazyFeelTurn While his morality is still into question]], he at least doesn't become a villain again afterwards.]]
* AtrociousAlias: His superhero name while donning the Dog Miraculous is ''Flairmidable''. It's also an IronicName, as his Dog hero costume is actually fairly standard compared to the more extravagant costumes donned by the rest of the Miraculous heroes.
* TheBadGuyWins: [[spoiler:He ends Season 4 with precisely what he wanted; after duping Ladybug into giving him the Dog Miraculous, he uses his Fetch ability to hit her yo-yo, then uses it to trade all the Miraculous of the box and his own for Gabriel's Peacock Miraculous. With the transaction done, he leaves with the Peacock Miraculous in tow.]]
* BackstoryHorror: [[spoiler:"Representation" reveals Félix's backstory, and while it doesn't show every detail, it does reveal that Félix was tormented by his father in one last act of spite, being used as a puppet while the man destroyed everything that made him happy.]]
* BaitTheDog: At the end of his first episode, Félix admits that he did the wrong thing, and Adrien is willing to forgive him... [[spoiler:only for it to turn out that Félix stole Gabriel's wedding ring]].
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Acts nice and affable to his cousin. It's all a front, and he's actually a ManipulativeBastard who'll eagerly use and betray anyone as long as it helps him get what he wants. [[spoiler:Just ask Ladybug, whom he betrayed by ''handing over all but two of the Miraculouses'' to Gabriel just to get the Peacock Miraculous.]]
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: As revealed in Season 5, most of his moral compass revolves around the idea of control and freedom. He is completely unable to tolerate controlling behavior, which leads him to betraying Ladybug to secure the means to obtain his freedom, then turning on Gabriel/Monarch to do the same for those he cares about. He accuses Ladybug of being no better than Monarch for controlling who gets the Miraculous.
* BlueBlood: He is a descendant of the British nobility as his mother is an aristocrat with a Lady title and rank.
* BlueIsHeroic: Like Mayura, this is inverted due to the Peacock Miraculous being in the hands of a villain. It's a bit more complicated [[spoiler:after he decides to become TheAtoner in "Emotion", though: while not entirely good anymore, he decides to stop being actively antagonistic. It's eventually played straight by the end of the fifth season as he fully redeems himself and joins the Miraculous Team]].
* BornOfMagic: [[spoiler:He's a miracle baby created with the help of the Peacock Miraculous.]]
* BrokenBird: [[spoiler: Being called a monster by a dying abusive parent would have that effect.]]
* BullyingADragon:
** While disguised as Adrien, he gets forceful with Ladybug and tries to make her kiss him. He gets clocked in the face for this.
** He also has the smart idea to try and confront Gabriel during "Gabriel Agreste", despite having a guess that he's actually Shadow Moth, and thus has the power to akumatize him ''right then and there''. His HeroicWillpower is the only reason he doesn't get akumatized right then and there.
* CharacterisationMarchesOn: In his first appearance he pretty openly hated Adrien and tried to ruin all his friendships ForTheEvulz, later appearances show that he cares for his cousin a lot and is doing what he's doing as much for Adrien as for himself, he's just not afraid to manipulate Adrien in order to get what he wants.
* ChoosingNeutrality: What he appears to have picked after [[spoiler:the events of "Emotion". While his plan to free Adrien and Kagami from their controlling parents is still in motion, Félix himself decides to stay out of the picture for as long as possible, not taking side with either the heroes or the villains afterwards.]]
* ControlFreak: Ironically given his focus on freedom, Félix spends most of "Emotion" essentially controlling the world through the use of Red Moon, snapping away anybody who shows even a bit of controlling behavior or tries to stop his conquest of the world. Realizing this near the end [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone horrifies him]] and convinces him to return everyone.
* CrossingTheBurntBridge: [[spoiler:Félix essentially ''obliterated'' any chance he had to have a friendly relationship with Ladybug when he betrayed her at the end of season 4 and his actions in "Emotion", but he still decides to pay her a visit during "Representation" to not only explain himself and why he did what he did, revealing his backstory in the process, but also give her clues as to Monarch's ''true'' identity for the upcoming final battle.]]
* CurbStompBattle: Deals one to Ladybug in "Emotion". While he already has a massive advantage on her thanks to Red Moon, his brief spar with her shows that he doesn't particularly need it, pulling [[NonchalantDodge Nonchalant Dodges]] and devastating [[CounterAttack Counter Attacks]].
* DarkAndTroubledPast: While we initially knew jack about his backstory, "Representation" eventually reveals a part of it, and it's rather sad: [[spoiler:Amelie and Colt, Félix's parents, wanted to have a kid but found themselves being unable to get the former pregnant. Colt, in a moment of desperation, used the Peacock Miraculous to do so, but because it was damaged, his health worsened until he eventually died. However, before doing so, he utilized the Peacock Miraculous to control Félix, calling him a monster, using him as a puppet, and destroying anything that made him happy, purely out of spite. Once he died, Félix took his ring, and decided to look for a way to ensure that nobody else, Sentimonster or otherwise, would be hurt in the same way that he was.]]
* DarkReprise: In "Emotion", Félix steals [[VillainSong Gabriel,'s theme, "With a Snap of My Fingers",]] after making his uncle dissappear. The result is that Félix made the song, its lyrics about getting rid of people, into his own while wiping out Paris' population.
* DecompositeCharacter: The Félix of the 2D video (a JerkWithAHeartOfGold ManipulativeBastard who was secretly Cat Noir) was divided into two characters -- Félix got the name, look and personality (except [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk with fewer redeeming qualities]]), while Adrien got the {{Deuteragonist}} status and the identity of Cat Noir.
* DiscardAndDraw: [[spoiler:At the end of season 4, Félix willingly trades not only the Dog Miraculous, but ''every'' Miraculous in the box in order to get the Peacock Miraculous from Gabriel.]]
* DisappearedDad: Félix's father died at some point after Emilie disappeared. [[spoiler:"Representation" eventually reveals that Colt actually ''died'' as a result of using the Peacock Miraculous to get Amelia pregnant, and then spent the last moments of his life torturing Félix and calling him a monster.]]
* DramaticIrony:
** Briefly swears to assist Hawk Moth in stealing the Miraculouses, while asking the latter to help him steal his aunt and uncle's wedding rings. Hawk Moth, of course, ''is'' secretly Gabriel, and would not willingly give his ring to Félix.
** "Emotion" eventually reveals that he wants to create a world where he, Adrien, and Kagami are free, and in particular wants to free Adrien from Gabriel's control. Félix ''knows'' Gabriel is Shadow Moth, and ended season 4 by trading all the Miraculous to him in exchange for the Peacock, causing Gabriel to become an even bigger threat to everyone than if he was left alone with just the Butterfly and Peacock.
* DrunkOnTheDarkSide: Once he gains control of the Peacock Miraculous, "Emotion" has him go on a rampage as he uses it to turn into Argos, before creating a sentimonster that allows him to essentially ''police the entire world'', being able to ''literally'' snap away anybody who shows controlling behavior or defies him with a literal snap of his fingers. However, [[spoiler:once he's made to realize that this makes him no different than Gabriel, he breaks down and brings everybody back.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:E-L]]
* EasilyForgiven:
** [[spoiler:Despite willingly confessing to Kagami how he was stalking her and even how he ''kidnapped'' her from her house to get her away from her mother, not only does Kagami forgive him, but they end up becoming an item.]]
** [[spoiler: Once Ladybug learns of his origins, and he provides her the means to defeat Monarch, she seemingly glosses over his theft of the Miraculous, allowing him to join her new superhero team]].
* EmbodimentOfVice: [[spoiler:As a Sentimonster, Félix embodies his father's jealousy toward his aunt and uncle, reflected in him being antisocial and his need to succeed in everything.]]
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: If his and Amelie's interaction near the end of his titular episode is any indication, they love each other mutually. [[spoiler:When the Gabriel sentimonster brings up how his mother would be sad to see him disappear, he gets noticeably more upset]].
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes:
** Besides his mother, Félix also seems to have some care towards his aunt Emilie, as in "Gabriel Agreste" he genuinely smiles when seeing her portrait in Gabriel's atelier, [[spoiler:and is horrified when he discovers her comatose state in "Risk"]].
** Double subverted with Adrien. Félix seems to despise Adrien, using him as a pawn in his plans, and he never seems to consider telling Adrien about Gabriel being Hawk Moth, or [[spoiler:the fact that his mother is in a coma underneath his house. However, his entire plan in "Emotion" is to free Adrien from Gabriel's control, even stating multiple times that he's doing this for Adrien, and he decides to spare Marinette because of how happy she makes him. Adrien and Kagami are also able to talk him down into bringing back everyone and releasing Red Moon when Marinette makes it appear as if he irreversibly killed her.]]
** In "Pretension", he kidnaps Kagami in order to free her from her strict mother, however he detransforms in front of the former to assure that he didn't want to hurt her, refuses to abandon her to her akumatized mother to save himself and even returns her original ring while letting her mother have a fake one, and kindly tells her that she was now free to create her own rules and ends the episode holding hands with her.
* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** He is horrified in "Risk" when he discovers [[spoiler:Gabriel's secret room where he keeps Emilie's body]].
** He shows a lot of compassion towards sentimonsters, as it's implied that he wasn't happy in "Strike Back" when the heroes ended up defeating the titular sentimonster and its copies by sending them into the sun (although there was no other way to stop it without locating the Amok), in "Emotion", [[spoiler:he's incredibly upset about releasing Red Moon and breaks down into a sobbing wreck]]. In "Pretension" he makes it clear to Kagami that he won't create another sentimonster only to use it and then destroy it later and even politely asks her to stop calling them "monsters". [[spoiler: It later turns out he is one himself.]]
** In "Emotion", he has no problem making a city's entire population disappear because he knows he can bring them back, so there's seemingly no consequences to his behavior. [[spoiler:When he is made to believe that he ''can't'' bring back Marinette, he freaks out and lets everyone go.]]
*** Even he was disgusted by how Chloé tackled Marinette to expose her.
* EvilCounterpart:
** Subverted with Adrien. While he's essentially what he would be if he had the [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative skills]] of his uncle and Lila Rossi, Félix is actually a WellIntentionedExtremist.
** PlayedStraight, however, during his time as a Dog hero, compared to Sabrina/Miss Hound. The two of them were gifted the Miraculous by Ladybug/Pennybug during a tense situation that required their skills. However, while Miss Hound was loyal to Ladybug and helped her defeat the villain of the episode, Flairmidable [[spoiler:outright ''betrays'' Ladybug to Gabriel, using her yo-yo to give him access to all the Miraculous in exchange for the Peacock, making Gabriel stronger than ever.]]
* EvilIsPetty: Sending all of Adrien's friends an insulting video message did not remotely have anything to do with his and his mother's mission. Later, he tries to throw his lot in with ''Hawk Moth'' for assistance in stealing Gabriel and Emilie's wedding rings. He then forces his luck again by confronting Gabriel about his super villain identity for no reason except to validate his point for a later gambit.
* ExpyCoexistence: Félix was originally intended to be Cat Noir, as seen in the ''Ladybug'' PV, but in the show proper, the character was reworked into Adrien. However, Félix is introduced in the third season as Adrien's cousin, with the name and character design from the PV.
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: Félix is basically like Adrien with good looks, but he is quite [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative and calculating]]. [[spoiler:However, he becomes TheAtoner in the fifth season, by slowly working his way towards redemption by trying to free Kagami from her abusive mother and giving Marinette information about Adrien's family. This leads to him joining the heroes' team in the season finale]].
* {{Foil}}: [[spoiler: To the Ladybug sentimonster, both created in the image of one of show's two key protagonists. But while the Ladybug sentimonster was modeled after a hero identity and never had the time to distinguish herself from the real Ladybug, Félix was modeled after a civilian identity and existed long enough to be a person in his own right.]]
* FeatheredFiend: The ends of Argos' coattails are reminiscent of a peacock's tail.
* FreudianExcuse: While it's implied that he was always a ManipulativeBastard, his behavior got worse after his dad's death. [[spoiler:It's later shown that Colt would use Félix's amok to control him, leading him to become obsessed with securing his freedom at any cost.]]
* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: Plagg says in his debut episode that his father's death doesn't excuse him for acting the way he does, since Adrien has also lost a parent yet doesn't act the same way. However, later episodes reveal that the reasons he acts out are much deeper than that.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: Granted, in-universe, Félix is nowhere near close to a nobody, but he still goes from Adrien's eerily identical cousin who's an insufferable brat, to [[spoiler:one of the most powerful Peacock wielders the show has ever had.]]
* HatesTheirParent: While he loves his mother just fine, Félix appears to have some contempt for his deceased father, not wanting to talk about him whenever he gets brought up. [[spoiler:"Representation" eventually reveals why: Colt used the Peacock Miraculous to get Amelie pregnant, but this caused his health to fail and eventually die. Before doing so, however, he used Félix's Amok purely out of spite in order to torture and torment Félix, calling him a monster.]]
* HeelFaceTurn: After his HeelRealization from "Emotion", he slowly works his way towards redemption by trying to free Kagami from her abusive mother and giving Marinette information about Adrien's family, which leads to him [[spoiler:joining the heroes' team by the end of season 5]].
* HeelRealization: Learning that his actions make him no different to Gabriel in "Emotion", he broke down crying and seeks to atone for his previous actions.
* HeroicCaninesVillainousFelines: Inverted between him and Cat Noir; the Season 4 finale involves him getting the Dog Miraculous to get help to fight Strike Back, but he's still a villain during this moment while Cat Noir is a heroic cat.
* HeroicWillpower: In "Gabriel Agreste", his determination and self-confidence lets him throw off Shadow Moth's attempt at akumatizing him, despite the offer of help in a desperate situation. While resisting akumatization seems to be getting increasingly common in Season 4, he's still only the second character to reject the Akuma before being fully akumatized and on his own following Chloé Bourgeois in "Miraculer".
* HeroKiller: He snaps Ladybug out of existence in "Emotion", but eventually brings her back together with everyone else.
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: [[spoiler:"Representation" reveals that his father used the Peacock Miraculous to use Félix like a tool. Félix himself ends up creating a Sentimonster to use them as a tool in order to force the world of freedom he desperately desires for himself, Adrien, and Kagami. Needless to say, he doesn't take it well when he learns this.]]
* {{Hypocrite}}:
** He says in "Pretension" that he's not willing to create a sentibeing in order to use it selfishly and then destroy it once it's no longer useful, even though that's exactly what he ended up doing in the prior episode, "Emotion". Though to be fair, it probably was the experience in the previous episode that made him realise how wrong it is to create a sentibeing just to use them. Less excusable is the events of "Representation", where he creates one solely for the purpose of exposition to Ladybug and then dispels it once he's done, seemingly because he couldn't think of a better way to convey what he knows to Ladybug without having to personally confront her.
** Considering how much Félix's morality is revealed to [[BlueAndOrangeMorality center around freedom]], it's hard to ignore how few qualms he had about selling ''fifteen'' kwami into slavery at the hands of [[ControlFreak his uncle]] just to secure his ''own'' freedom.
* IJustWantToBeFree: What seems to be his main motivation. He shows disdain for Gabriel for how strict he is with Adrien and his obsession with the Peacock Miraculous and Gabriel and Emilie's wedding rings [[spoiler:is because he wants to remove Gabriel's ability to control him and Adrien]]. His entire plan in "Emotion" is to create a world where Kagami, Adrien and himself are free, and a world where Gabriel is no longer an obstacle to Adrien's happiness, or his relationship with Marinette. When fighting Ladybug, he tells her that her strict control of the Miraculous makes her no better than Monarch in his eyes, though this comes off as hypocritical because he [[spoiler:sold all the kwami to Gabriel to secure his own freedom]].
* InTheHood: His Argos outfit includes a hood that he always wears over his head.
* InvincibleVillain: [[spoiler:In "Emotion", he uses the Peacock Miraculous to become Argos and creates the sentimonster Red Moon, which lets him wipe out anyone bathed in its light at by snapping his fingers. By the time Ladybug confronts him, Red Moon has grown large enough to cover the entire world meaning Argos can ''wipe out humanity at a snap of his fingers''. It's hammered even further just how unstoppable he is in that Ladybug's Lucky Charm gives her ''nothing'' to use. In the end, he's only "defeated" because Adrien and Kagami manage to talk him down.]]
* IronicName: His superhero name while using the Dog Miraculous is Flairmidable. With a name like that, you'd expect him to look more extravagant than the other heroes, but his costume is actually one of the more mundane ones among the group.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Although Félix has a questionable morality, he is not wrong to remark that Chloé is still the same annoying SpoiledBrat. While she does have CharacterDevelopment, Chloé remains selfish and arrogant, [[spoiler:and it gets even worse when she pulls a FaceHeelTurn in the end of Season 3]].
* JustToyingWithThem: His battle with Ladybug during "Emotion" is incredibly one-sided on his favor even without considering the fact that by the time they fight, Red Moon's covering the world, meaning he could snap her away at any minute, all but confirming that the only reason he even put up with her was to entertain himself.
* TheKindnapper: [[spoiler:"Pretension" has him kidnap Kagami from her house in order to get her away from her abusive mother, but Félix himself tries to be as gentle as possible.]]
* KnightTemplarBigBrother: [[spoiler: Revealed to be one for Adrien, as all his previous actions were part of a massive plan to free Adrien from Gabriel's control, at the cost of, well, everybody else.]]
* LikeFatherLikeSon: [[spoiler:We eventually learn that Félix's father was a warmonger who treated Félix terribly in his last moments of life purely out of spite. While Félix rejects being the same as him, he pulls the same stunt during "Emotion", creating Red Moon ''specifically'' to conquer the world and force his sense of freedom onto everyone, just like Gabriel did with Adrien's life. He doesn't take it well when he learns this.]]
* LoveRedeems: He ends up joining the heroes' team after falling in love with Kagami.

* ManipulativeBastard: Takes advantage of Adrien's kindness to get a window to insult his classmates and later escape with Gabriel's wedding ring, latter using it as a gambit to acquire the Peacock Miraculous.
* MeaningfulName: His moniker, Argos, is a reference to the hundred-eyed giant from Greek mythology, whose eyes were supposedly distributed to the tail feathers of peacocks after his death.
* MoralMyopia: Félix is big on control and freedom, and he detests when people showcase controlling behavior or otherwise use people or Sentimonsters in order to get what they want. This being said, Félix himself seems to have no problem creating his own Sentimonsters to use as tools: "Emotion" has him create Red Moon in order to force a perfect world of freedom, while [[spoiler:"Representation" has him create Once Upon A Time in order to explain his backstory to Marinette, and eventually snaps them away after he's done]]. Similarly, Félix is not above depriving others of their freedom just to secure his own, as shown with his deal with Gabriel to secure the Peacock Miraculous.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler:In "Emotion", upon realizing that he cannot bring back Marinette, Argos is utterly shocked and undoes his plan.]]
* MythologyGag: Félix appears in the 2D promo video for ''Miraculous'', in which he was Cat Noir. Although [[DecompositeCharacter that is no longer the case here]], his motivation is still heavily tied to a ring.
* NomDeMom: Graham de Vanily is the maiden name of his mother and aunt. His father's surname is revealed two seasons after his introduction; it turns out to be 'Fathom.' The in-universe news uses Fathom as his surname from that point on.
* NotSoAboveItAll: In "Representation", Argos draws a heart on Kagami's hotel room's window as a romantic gesture towards her.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: In "Pretension", after kidnapping Kagami, he tells her that they are not so different and Kagami started to realize this herself throughout the episode.
* NotSoSimilar: In his original introduction he's basically Lila with [[FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon Adrien's face]], but he is in no way a [[TheSociopath sociopath]] like Lila, just a sad, angry boy with NoSocialSkills who's been made to feel like a monster his whole life.
* NoSocialSkills: While he initially gave the impression that he was always in control of things, "Pretension" shows that he's awful at social relationships and didn't think that following and abducting Kagami was abnormal behavior but he ''does'' apologize to Kagami for that after she calls him out on it.
* OfficialCouple: [[spoiler:During Season 5, he and Kagami start dating.]]
* OurHumansAreDifferent: He's a human created by the Peacock Miraculous alongside Adrien and Kagami.
* PeacockGirl: Gender-Inverted. Félix uses the Peacock Miraculous to become the supervillain later turned superhero Argos.
* PeoplePuppets: As showed by his backstory from "Representation", his father would use his Amok to make him act like his own human puppet.
* PerfectDisguiseTerribleActing: During his titular episode, Félix decides to impersonate Adrien and sow chaos through his house. While their nigh-identical looks mean that the physical part is replicated flawlessly, Félix's naturally abrasive personality shines through, to the point it doesn't take long for Marinette to notice the impersonation when Félix sends her a hateful message through Adrien's phone, which later on ends up with Ladybug punching him while also exclaiming that he couldn't possible be Adrien. [[spoiler:When he and Adrien swap places in "Risk", Félix puts much more effort into playing the part and is able to convincingly pretend to be Adrien, even managing to fool Ladybug into thinking he's Adrien and handing him the Dog Miraculous, because in this case it is in his best interests not to have his cover blown before he's accomplished his goals.]]
* PersonalityPowers: The Dog Miraculous gives him the ability to use his ball to steal anything he wants. An ideal ability for a ManipulativeBastard that can snatch anything he wants off of a person.
* PowerDyesYourHair: His hair becomes green while he uses the peacock miraculous.
* PsychologicalProjection: [[spoiler:While Adrien and Kagami ''do'' feel suffocated by their controlling parents, Félix's desire for a perfect world for him and those two in "Emotion" is clearly mostly motivated by ''his'' desire to be free from every controlling person in his life permanently.]]
* RelationshipUpgrade: He officially enters a relationship with Kagami as of "Representation".
* RemovedAchillesHeel: [[spoiler:As a Sentimonster, his existence is stritly to two items: his amokized item, and the Peacock Miraculous. The former is his ring, which he took from his abusive father after he passed away, and the Peacock Miraculous is something he looks for across season 4 before he manages to get it by trading every Miraculous but the Cat and Ladybug to Gabriel, ensuring that his existence is safe for now.]]
* ReverseArmFold: Villainous example. This is his common posture, distinguishing himself from the kinder and friendlier Adrien.
* SecondLove: To Kagami, as she used to be in love and even briefly dated his identical looking cousin, Adrien, before they started dating.
* SecretKeeper: In "Risk", he discovers his aunt in her comatose state hidden in Gabriel's repository but didn't reveal this to Adrien nor his mother Amelie, as part of his deal with Gabriel to get the Peacock Miraculous. Also he's aware of his uncle's identity as Monarch but isn't willing to reveal it to the heroes. [[spoiler: He is also aware of Marinette's idenity as Ladybug through Kagami telling him.]]
* ShipperOnDeck: He approves of Adrien's relationship with Marinette, even wanting to spare her in "Emotion" for his sake.
* ShipTease: With Kagami, as in "Emotion" he's seen flirting with her (while posing as Adrien) and it's implied to have taken an interest in her. In "Pretension" it's confirmed that he has developed feelings for her and by the end of the episode Kagami has started to return them as well. As of "Representation", they're officially an item.
* StalkerWithACrush: As shown in ''Pretension'', he has been following Kagami since ''Emotion'' as he's been developing feelings towards her. Kagami takes it in stride once she realizes he's just even more socially awkward than Adrien ever was.
* StickyFingers: Let's just say most of the show would be different if Félix hadn't a knack for pickpocketing people.
* StrongAndSkilled: Once he become Argos, his already impressive physical feats are improved even more, letting him utterly dominate Ladybug in a fight while barely trying.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: While in season 3 and 4 he was mostly cold and calculated, in season 5 he shows a much more gentle and romantic side to him.
* SummonToHand: His powerset as Flairmidable, which he uses to steal Ladybug's Miraculous and gain access to all the other Miraculous from the Miracle Box, so he can trade with Gabriel them for the Peacock Miraculous.
* SuperiorSuccessor: As Argos, he proves to be a more effective Peacock user than both Nathalie/Mayura and Gabriel/Shadow Moth ever were. While the former at least had the excuse that the Miraculous wasn't complete, Shadow Moth has both the Peacock ''and'' Butterfly Miraculous at once and yet never managed to win against Ladybug. Félix/Argos, by contrast, has his ''very first foray'' involve creating a Sentimonster so powerful he can snap away anybody with a snap of his fingers, and his fight with Ladybug shows that he's her equal, if not ''superior'', in combat as well. To add insult to injury, [[spoiler:he ends up snapping away Ladybug, something that Mayura and Shadow Moth have been trying to do for season to no avail.]]
* TeenGenius: He excels at martial arts, horsemanship, and chess. He is also the youngest to graduate from High School in England.
* TeensAreMonsters: The third actively malicious teenager in the series after Chloé and Lila. [[spoiler:Unlike the two of them, he actually gets a chance to redeem himself, unlike Lila, and actually takes it and becomes a neutral figure, unlike Chloé.]]
* TokenEvilTeammate: [[spoiler:While impersonating Adrien during the season 4 finale, Ladybug-as Pennybug-recruits him into the team with the Dog Miraculous in order to stop Strike Back once and for all. Félix, being Félix, is still as manipulative as ever, and takes this as the chance to dupe Ladybug into letting him take her yo-yo, then use it and the Miraculous within as a bargaining chip to Shadow Moth, gaining the Peacock Miraculous in the process.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: He was already pretty strong for a human [[spoiler:before we found out he was a Sentimonster]], but getting to hold the Dog and then Peacock Miraculous shoots up his threat level through the roof, the latter in particular causing him to become one of the most dangerous villains in the show.
* TookALevelInJerkass:
** In "Strikeback", he betrays Ladybug after she gave him the Dog Miraculous thinking that he's Adrien, using Fetch to steal her Yo-Yo and trade all the Miraculous from it with his magical terrorist uncle, Gabriel, solely to obtain the Peacock Miraculous for himself.
** In "Emotion", he uses the Peacock Miraculous to create a sentimonster strong enough to wipe out the entire world's population, except for the people he's fond of. However, after he believes that he accidentally snapped out Marinette and can't bring her back (because he doesn't know she's Ladybug, who he also snapped), he gives up on his plan, bringing back everyone and destroying his sentimonster because he's convinced such a power is too dangerous to exist if he can't guarantee his ability to control it.
* TookALevelInKindness: After having told Marinette (whom he now knows she's Ladybug) crucial information about Adrien, he ends up joining the Miraculous Heroes Team led by her.
* ToughLove: In "Representation", he and Kagami put Marinette through the emotional wringer to prepare her for the final fight with Monarch, as she needs to understand that Gabriel is past the point of reason and that not even appealing to his love for Adrien will stop him.
* TheUnfettered: Félix will stop at ''nothing'' to achieve what he wants. From impersonating his own cousin, to taunting and bargaining with Gabriel, to [[spoiler:selling off ''every other Miraculous in the box'' just to trade them for the Peacock Miraculous.]]
* UncannyFamilyResemblance: Aside from his clothing and hairstyle, he's practically identical to his cousin Adrien, enough that the two would pretend to be each other in their childhoods, once tricking Gabriel and Emilie for a whole weekend. Nowadays, Félix uses the trick for [[{{Jerkass}} very different reasons]].
* UnknownRival: Inverted. While Argos opposes Ladybug because he wants her Miraculous to make a wish, he isn't particularly mean about it. Ladybug however, is seething while facing him as Argos is directly responsible for her biggest failure and the ensuing DarkestHour.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: [[UnreliableExpositor According to Adrien]] (who may just be naïve and never suspected him as malicious) and Amelie (who is also as bad as he is), Félix used to be this, having played with Adrien more happily when they were younger. [[spoiler:"Representation" reveals he was psychologically abused by his father who dehumanized his son while forcing him into destroying anything he cherished.]]
* UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans: [[spoiler:"Emotion" has him try to create a world where he, Adrien, and Kagami are free, by snapping away anybody that defies his rule.]]
* VillainousCrush: He develops one towards Kagami, first flirting with her while posing as Adrien, and then including her in his plan of creating world of freedom for her, Adrien, and himself. [[spoiler:By the time the two become an item, though, Félix has long since stopped being a villain, instead becoming a neutral party who doesn't get involved in the larger conflict.]]
* VillainousMotherSonDuo: He and Amelie were initially small potatoes compared to [[BigBad Hawk Moth]], [[CoDragons Mayura, and Lila]] in only wanting to steal back Gabriel and Emilie's wedding rings. But Félix becomes a serious threat when he traded Ladybug's Yo-Yo, with access to the Miracle Box, to Gabriel for the Peacock Miraculous in "Strikeback" with Amelie covering for him in "Multiplication" when the heroes attempt to find him.
* VocalEvolution: His voice is lower and raspier in season 5, after two seasons of being indistinguishable from Adrien's.
* WhatYouAreInTheDark: By the end of "Emotion", [[spoiler:Félix, Adrien, and Kagami are all that's left of the Parisians after Félix whisks them all way with a literal snap of his fingers, until he realizes he took away Marinette and Adrien and Kagami call him out on it. Since he's cool with Adrien and Marinette getting together, he could've easily brought ''her'' back but keep everybody else snapped away in order to try and have his world of freedom with his cousin and Kagami. Instead, he brings ''everybody'' back, and then snaps away Red Moon for good measure in order to ensure her power never gets used again.]]
* WildCard: Félix is ultimately on no one's side but his own. He has no qualms from mugging his uncle, then bartering with him for the Peacock Miraculous, then turning on him again. Similarly, he is not on Ladybug's side either, as despite sharing an enemy, he wants her and Cat Noir's Miraculous for his own purposes. [[spoiler: Félix soften his stance towards Ladybug once he learns her true identity and tips her to Monarch's true identity.]]
* WorldHealingWave: [[spoiler:After he realizes how far he has gone and how he accidentally erased Marinette, the end of "Emotion" has him snap his fingers to bring back everybody he snapped away using Red Moon, before snapping ''Red Moon'' away in order to ensure her power can't be abused yet again.]]

* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* AlliterativeName: '''F'''élix '''F'''athom.
* BullyingADragon:
* DramaticIrony:

* EasilyForgiven:
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes:
* EvenEvilHasStandards:
* EvilCounterpart:
* {{Hypocrite}}:
[[/folder]]

[[folder:M-W]]
* TookALevelInJerkass:
