* KidsAreCruel: Sorta, while the students are usually falling under the trope below, they all can act like this when they take getting revenge on The TerribleTrio of Tubee, Usop and Yumyum too far, i.e. Half of the students cornering them complete with Docky using his whirlwind to send them back into the elevator in 'Noisy Noisy' and Liddy lashing out at Yumyum for faking his wonder in 'Yumyum's Wonder' causing the latter to run up to the roof ''crying''.

** They're also willing to work together with Chaps in 'Memories Day' after she manages to talk to befriend Yumyum's flies and Onpoo in episode 32, after she accidentally made a majority of the students lethargic.

** They Care about the School's wellbeing, as evidenced in 'The Ice Age Has Come' and in the final episode where [[spoiler:Yumyum helps Hikky in saving the school from a night eliminating asteroid]].

* TheSpeechless: Never verbally speaks, instead writing down what he wants to say on sheets of paper.
** Although he ''did speak'' in the episode 'Beast Piranin', although this was likely an error.

* {{Keet}}: Kid has ''waaaay'' too much energy.

* OnlySaneMan: While 'sane' is a bit of a stretch, most of her focus episodes are tame compared to the rest of the female students.

* OddFriendship: While not really official or properly explained in 'St. Elmo's Fire', it's kinda weird seeing someone as shy as Rosso being friends with the loner Enton or the CollectorOfTheStrange Zobie.

* NiceMeanAndInBetween: He somewhat qualifies as the 'mean' one due to having lower standards compared to the other bullies.

* OnlySaneMan: While 'sane' is a bit of a stretch, his focus episodes don't really get crazy like some of the others.

* TryingNotToCry: Near the end of 'Ampoo and Watt', when he thinks that Ampoo is still mad at him after rescuing him from the crypts, he begins to cry. Thankfully Ampoo has forgiven him by then and the two reconcile.

* JerkassHasAPoint: Although [=YumYum=] can be a bully, he, Usop and Tubee were in the right to call Genie and Vincent out for giving Kabo behavior changing jellybeans in 'Day of the Great Pumpkin'.
** He also called out Noisy for causing Hikky to split into two in 'Red Hikky, Blue Hikky'

* NiceMeanAndInBetween: Strangely enough for the bullies' leader, he flips between 'mean' and 'in-between' depending on the situation.

* NiceGuy: A gentle and mellow kid, who just wants to help people like books and is one of the only characters to treat Mr Book Deposit Machine with respect and friendship.
