* ComicallyCrossEyed: Averted [[https://www.tumblr.com/pickle-nickels/748875818530373632/lazy-eye-charles-how-else-can-he-keep-such-a he seems to have strabismus]] (which doesn't seem to be an animation error as it's rather consistently depicted in numerous episodes even if his eyes are correctly align a lot of the time) ,and is one of the most serious characters in the show and surprisingly isn't even commented on.

* TheFaceless: The hoods never come off. It's a part of their identity being erased.

* AbusiveParents: Pickles constantly has to play WellDoneSonGuy to his parents, who favor Seth, Pickles' manipulative con-man of a brother. Calvert goes as far as to tell Pickles that he "...belongs in a garbage can" when he was a teen kicking him out of their home. In "Dethwedding", they blatantly display their favoritism of Seth to Pickles in front of his friends when they visit his home in Tomahawk. It's also possible that all members of Pickles' family subjected him to mental and physical abuse as well.
* BigBrotherBully: Seth was certainly this to Pickles, [[spoiler: as he wrongfully blamed him for setting their father's garage on fire]] and kept mooching off of him by emotionally blackmailing him for money.
