** In Neo Super Robot Wars (not to be confused with Super Robot Wars Neo) Boss Borot gets a spacesuit of sorts and the moniker Super Boss Borot to get around this. Boss Borot is also not usable in space at all in some of the classic SRW games, usually dealt with by removing it from your party for space levels rather than disallowing it.

Boss is a fictional character created by Go Nagai. Boss and his [[{{Delinquents}} gang]] were the {{comic relief}} characters in the anime MazingerZ and GreatMazinger. Boss began as a bully and Kabuto Kouji's rival at school, but quickly became an ally, often scouting for Mazinger Z on his motorcycle, or getting into some sort of slapstick mischief.

But when Mazinger Z appears in ''SuperRobotWars'' series, the Boss Borot can be deployed in space just fine without apparent modifications. (It will perform like crap due to having a terrible rating for space combat, but in both ''Mazinger Z'' and ''Super Robot Wars'' the Boss Borot is a JokeCharacter anyways.)

Koji Kabuto (Kabuto Kōji), also written Kouji Kabuto, is a fictional character featuring in the works of manga artist GoNagai. He is the main character of SuperRobot series MazingerZ and pilots the title robot. He reappears in the sequel GreatMazinger and helps battle the Mikene Empire. He also features in [[UFORoboGrendizer Grendizer]] as Duke Fleed's friend and {{sidekick}}.
