* DragonAncestry: Himegami is the daughter of the Yamata no Orochi of legend and Oosuo no Mikoto, who was the first prince of the Yamato Court. Thus, she's half dragon, though it only becomes apparent when she's angry. During which, [[UhOhEyes her eyes turns amber]] and her pupils become slitted.

* GirlishPigtails: Her usual hairstyle, save for when she's bathing, which is one of the few times she lets down her hair.

* TheOjou: In both the manga and the subtitled anime, the others refer to her as "Himegami-sempai". While in the engish dub, her shikigami address her as either "Mistress Himegami", or simply as, "Mistress".

* [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld Really 700 Years Old]]: Himegami's been around since ancient times, most of which was spent confined within the barrier atop Amanohara, which was created by [[spoiler: her brother, Yabiko Yamato]], for her protection. She was finally able to escape, thanks to [[spoiler: Minori]] weakening it, over 2,000 years later.

The only way she can unleash the true extent of her power is by fighting atop Amanohara itself, which allows her to summon ''all EIGHT'' of her Shikigami at once (including [[spoiler: her mother, Yatsuno]]!) at their full power. She then draws upon the ambient Element of the Ama no Iwato seal to cast a massive barrier large enough to envelope the entire campus at Tenbi, in an attempt to imprison Yamato atop Amonhara.
