* ArtifactOfDoom: The Wishing Ring and its human-like persona have shades of this. Getting too close to either can result in Acklao "reading your heart" at his whim and causing the target to either [[MindControl fall into a trance and/or hallucinate]] into doing the Wishing Ring's bidding. [[folder:Killizerk]]
The main protagonist, Bladelord Killizerk is a demon lord whose ability to empower weapons with the power to kill other immortals led to them being sealed away, and awakening in a time and place where they're the last of their kind.
----
* CombatStilletos: Female Killizerk fights in high heels. Considering their entire reputation and personality is doing whatever the hell she wants, this was probably an intentional choice on her part.
* FashionableAsymmetry: Female Killizerk wears one stocking with a garter belt visible while the other one goes completely up to her waist.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: After being sealed off and revived, Killizerk finds themselves waking up in a highly modernized world with movies, television broadcasts, and amusements parks. [[spoiler:Or so it seems until Arcadio's true nature is exposed.]]
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Somehow, Killizerk has forgotten all about how to forge maglams alongside most of their power, removing much of the threat they could have posed to the Administration and Arcadio. [[spoiler:This was deliberate tampering by Overseer Mamie.]]
* PowerGivesYouWings: When Killizerk uses the full extent of their Bladelord powers, they gain flaming wings among other physical changes.
* PurelyAestheticGender: You can play as either a male or female Killizerk, which has minor effects on the visual novel segments and none at all on the core gameplay.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Killizerk ends up being this to [[spoiler:Overseer Mamie/Goddess Aimamiel]], because [[spoiler:she]] never intended them to be part of Arcadio in the first place.
* SupportingProtagonist: Due to their power having been drained while sealed, they rely on other characters such as Darius and Charme to actually participate in all combat.
* SweetTooth: If someone is offering to apologize to them, they have the option of asking the one apologizing to take them out and treat them to something sweet.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Darius]]
A young man who is eager to fulfill his destiny of being a hero, even though the era he lives in has no use for them.
----
* FashionableAsymmetry: He has a metal gauntlet on one arm, with the other one bare.
* RealMenCanCook: Though not a fully awakened Hero just yet, Darius is still quite manly and has quite the knack for cooking. Everyone praises his pancakes as just as good as professionally made ones from a cafe.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Charme]]
Darius' sister, who shares his heroic lineage and powers.
----
* DoesNotKnowHerOwnStrength: One of Charme's gripes about her Hero powers is the superhuman strength it grants her. She can't ''control'' it outside of combat, hence she squishes strawberries to a pulp when trying to pick them for jam or crushes eggs into a crunchy mass of shell and scrambled yolk. This also contributes to her being a LethalChef, with the only thing she ''can'' do properly is crush already picked, cleaned, and sorted strawberries in preparation to be boiled into jam.
* LethalChef: Charme cannot cook. Whether it's her [[DoesNotKnowHerOwnStrength super strength]] causing her to crush and destroy ingredients accidentally or just her poor understanding of proper cooking technique like "don't use a sword to chop ingredients", whatever she makes will be a mess at best and an inedible nightmare at worst, one that could even frighten an ''immortal Demon Lord'' to their core.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:M.O.A.V.]]
* GratuitiousEnglish: In the Japanese voice-over and original language, MOAV is constantly using English words to emphasize his being a robotic AI.
* RobotBuddy: Though originally supposed to be an artificial maglam wielder and an anti-immortal weapon, thanks to Killizerk's influence and kindness he eventually develops care for others, a personality and independent will, and is very polite and pleasant beside.
* SophisticatedAsHell: When MOAV examines a poisonous mushroom, he calmly and professionally states that it's full of hallucinogens and amphetamines and then what happens if you ingest it:
-->'''MOAV''': Conclusion: a BAD TRIP.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Julette]]
* IntrepidReporter: "Julette's Vivid*Voyage" starring the eponymous Julette is an adventure show, specializing in exploring uncharted territories and in the Overseer's words, giving the people a taste of adventure from the comforts of their couches. After [[spoiler:she gets fired after a show goes horribly wrong]], Julette continues to venture out and report to satisfy her journalistic spirit.
* LittleBitBeastly: In addition to animalistic features such as her ears, she displays some more "wild" behavior than the humans in the cast, having been an expert hunter and tracker in her youth before becoming an idol and reporter.
* MasterOfNone: Julette has access to all of the elements, spells, and weapon specializations in the game, but cannot learn their most advanced forms.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Acklao]]
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: With the exception of MOAV, who is unfailingly polite, nobody really enjoys having him in the party.
* JackassGenie: "The Saint" Acklao earns a reputation for granting people's wishes... but they're often twisted, corrupted interpretations of their desires, such as a "healing spring" that's full of drugs that make people ''think'' they're cured of their terminal illnesses or transforming people into mutabeasts when they beg for strength to defeat their enemies. Being [[spoiler:the Wishing Ring, powerful Relic that gained sentience and a body]], Acklao justifies it as the corruption in the wishers' hearts twisting what they get. Subverted when it comes to children: Acklao sees [[ChildrenAreInnocent their hearts as so pure]] that he grants their wishes without any hang-ups, catches, or twists.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Acklao is the most evil member of the group, being fond of teasing and screwing with the others just because it pleases him, and his entire arc is him being a JackassGenie by granting people corrupted versions of their wishes. It's telling that even Killizerk didn't want to recruit him into the party, it was only Killizerk's rejection that made him ''so fascinated'' with them that they simply had to join of their free will, and as a proponent of freedom above all else, Killizerk is unable to argue with him to leave.
