* HeroesWantRedheads: According to WordOfGay, she's in a relationship with Nanoha (although Nanoha's hair is a bit on the brown side).

* DelusionsOfParentalLove: Fate seems completely incapable of comprehending that Precia does not see her as anything but a tool to achieve her goals, despite Precia's repeated verbal, emotional, and eventually physical abuse, which Fate dutifully blames on her own failures. This is because a) Fate is 9 years old, b) she has no other parental figure in her life, and c) she [[spoiler:is actually a clone of Alicia Testarossa, Precia's late biological daughter, whom she had ''actually'' loved and whose memories she had implanted in Fate's head in an attempt to create a ReplacementGoldfish.]]

* DelusionsOfParentalLove: Fate Testarossa seems completely incapable of comprehending that her mother Presea does not see her as anything but a tool to achieve her goals, despite Presea's repeated verbal, emotional, and eventually physical abuse, which Fate dutifully blames on her own failures. This is because a) Fate is 9 years old, b) she has no other parental figure in her life, and c) she [[spoiler:is actually a clone of Alicia Testarossa, Presea's late biological daughter, whom she had ''actually'' loved and whose memories she had implanted in Fate's head to ensure her obedience]].

* BoobsOfSteel: Fate has always been better in close combat than [[{{BFG}} Na]][[BoomStick no]][[MoreDakka ha]], and in ''[[Anime/MagicalGirlLyricalNanohaStrikers StrikerS]]'' her breasts are quite noticeably larger than Nanoha's. It also perhaps reflects how she's more of a classically maternal person than Nanoha.
** By the time of ''[=ViVid=]'', Nanoha's and Fate's breasts are roughly about the same size.

* CloningBlues: [[spoiler:From [[AbusiveParent Precia's]] point of view, Fate is a failed clone of Alicia Testarossa as she doesn't have her "sister's" original personality. Because of this, Precia's treatment fluctuated from cold indifference to outright fury, a fact that Fate couldn't understand. Fortunately, after the events of the first two seasons she seems to have let go of this mindset.]]

* MyBelovedSmother: In contrast to her usual soft-spoken self, many people note that Erio, Caro and Vivio. are actually pretty spoiled by her, despite being very capable children. Considering [[AbusiveParents her upbringing]] [[spoiler: and [[CloningBlues their similar origins]]]], this is actually pretty justified.

* TomatoInTheMirror: Near the end of the first season she finds out that [[spoiler: [[CloningBlues she's actually a clone of Precia's real daughter]]. [[AngstComa She doesn't take it well]].]]

** Axe [[BladeOnAStick On A Stick]]: The "Axe of Flash" Bardiche's default combat mode, which is, well, a [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bardiche bardiche.]] It's called Device Form in the original series, Axe Form in ''The Movie 1st'', Assault Form in ''A's'', and Bullova Form in ''The Movie 2nd A's''.

** BladeOnAStick: Bardiche's Sealing Form in the original series, and Glaive Form (or [[SpellMyNameWithAnS Grave Form]][[note]]Listening to Bardiche carefully, he really says "Grave Form"[[/note]]) in the movie.
