* KickTheSonOfABitch: He succeeds at interrogating Arnold, a drug dealer who was refusing to give any information to Sleepy and Eddie moments before he arrived by threatening to take him to his son while he's at school and loudly tell everyone there that his dad is a drug dealer in public. This genuinely manages to bother Sleepy and Eddie because neither of them would stoop to his level.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Sammy Chan's backstory. He kicked his co-star to death, although his co-star was a racist and even stole his girlfriend from him.

* HateSink: Nearly all of them are EXTREMELY repugnant individuals, such as rapists, sadists, animal abusers.

* FauxAffablyEvil: He bids Lily a fond farewell as he leaves her to die in his homemade deathtrap. Even when he's acting friendly it doesn't take much to violently set him off.

* MinionMaster: To a degree. One of his favorite ways of trying to kill Sleepy is to summon much bigger and beefier hitmen after him, as he's no good in a direct fight.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: He often winds being at a severe disadvantage in physical hand-to-hand fights due to how tiny he is.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: [[spoiler:He wound up traumatized and bound by extreme guilt due to killing his son, who was an extremely evil person that raped his classmate and beat up his neighbors among other unmentioned crimes. Having to kill your own child, no matter how awful of a person they are would traumatize just about anybody who has a shred of morality like Glen does.]]

* AGoodWayToDie: [[spoiler:Surpisingly, he peacefully passes away with no regrets, serenely crying tears of joy in Sleepy's arms after managing to get a one-up on him, confessing that he gave up on killing him a long time ago, and confesses that he's grown to genuinely respect Sleepy over the many times they fought, and is glad that not only does Sleepy understand that, but also respects him back. This also makes him the only unrepentant criminal who doesn't have sympathetic backstory or excuse for their actions to earn a peaceful and dignified death, as Sleepy, Eddie, and Perrine all take him to a cathedral to give him a proper funeral, with them hanging a halo above his head and telling him to join the angels in heaven to pay tribute to the only hitman to survive more than one encounter with the Mad Bull, now residing in Heaven without regrets.]]

* BrainsEvilBrawnGood: PlayedWith. While Sleepy's far from being an idiot, the methods that he and Nickel use contrast with eachother perfectly, as Sleepy fights face to face with his bare hands and whatever weapon he has on person, while Nickel uses his genius and creativity to create death traps and uses his connections to send hitmen after the Mad Bull.

* HeroKiller: [[spoiler:He manages to kill Perrine, something that traumatize Daizaburo.]]

* BoxingBattler: George Preston, the former heavyweight natch.

* {{Expy}}: George Preston looks like a black [[VideoGame/StreetFighter Sagat]] while Sammy Chan looks like [[Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar Raoh]] with a mouth full of fangs.

** He is surprisingly wise and worldly in spite of being a crass and perverted tough guy at first glance, as he gives a small speech to Eddie about how the relationship between criminals and their victims can often get morally grey where either side can be seen as justifiable in their actions, as he talks about how a bunch of thieves willing to rob a rich man with a knife can be seen as being justified due to how poor they are, while also pointing out that the rich man is also justified to defend himself, even if it means using lethal methods such as gunning them down.

A group of Chinese-American hitmen led by Bobby Wang who were hired by Morley Edwards to kill Jackie, as well as Sleepy and Eddie. They are known for their nihlistic disregard for their own lives and even the prospect of dying, and are willing to die if it means killing their hits in the process, which manages to unsettle and horrify Sleepy, an otherwise courageous daredevil, of all people.

* TroublingUnchildLikeBehavior: A lot of their members are ''teenagers'' and they're all a bunch of nihlistic hitmen who are perfectly willing to die if it means killing their hits. [[FridgeHorror Makes you wonder what happened to them to become this way]][[invoked]].

* ArsonMurderAndLifeSaving: This is practically all he does as a hero, as he brutalizes criminals, albeit the ones who DO get brutalized are unrepentant monsters made to be despised, and the less monstrous ones get far more tame and peaceful deaths, is a pervert who sleeps with a different sex worker and sometimes even more than one of them everyday of his life, and even steals some money from them, but on the other side, he helps baby animals find homes, uses the money he takes and donates it to charities who help sex workers with severe [=STDs=] and victims of rape readjust to society, as well as using his reputation to protect the turf he claimed.

* HateSink: Aside from being every bit as vile and despicable as you'd expect a SerialRapist to be, he's also not above killing people's pets to send a message.

* UglyGuyHotWife: The husband looks less like a man and more like a werewolf, and not the cool or attractive kind, while his wife is a BigBeautifulWoman.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: He looks like a racist stereotype with his buck teeth and slanted eyes, plus the fact that he goes through with the effort of actually doing the traditional chant and dance with the Nanjing Lily makes him even more bizarre, but he's 100% lethal and dangerous.

* PowerUpFood: Deconstructed. Drinking alcohol has him become a vicious fighter... [[spoiler:But only because it causes him to recall the time he had to kill his own son due to him being an incredibly violent rapist and alcoholic, which he associates with the memory of.]]

* KickTheSonOfABitch: He successfully interrogates Arnold, a drug dealer that was being interrogated by Sleepy and Eddie by threatening to take him to his son's school and loudly show off that he's a drug dealer, frightening Arnold enough to make him confess. This manages to disturb the two due to him being more than willing to get a completely innocent person involved in police business just for being related to a criminal.

* EvilCounterpart: Even though he appears early on and we don't see that much of him, he has a lot of eerie parallels with sleepy, as both are party of an ethnic minority in the U.S.A. (the son of a family of Puerto Rican immigrants and an African-American of unknown background, respectively), both are incredibly strong and powerful, as well as being highly intelligent and great at improvising weapons as well.

* WrestlerInAllOfUs: His signature move is the bear hug.

* ElementalMotifs: [[ShockAndAwe Electricity]], as his most iconic way of trying to kill people aside from hiring other hitmen is his preference for creating improvised death traps that involve electricity, usually in the form of modifying electronics or electric appliances, such as turning a lightbulb into a bomb, or making a door knob into a highly lethal zapper.

* WeakButSkilled: He's puny, sure, but a crafty motherfucker.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: He successfully interrogates Arnold, a drug dealer that was being interrogated by Sleepy and Eddie by threatening to take him to his son's school and loudly show off that he's a drug dealer, frightening Arnold enough to make him confess.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: When Sleepy and Perrine try to test him by having the latter pretend to be an assassin about to kill a resting Sleepy, he comes to Sleepy's rescue and kicks the knife out of Perrine's hand, making it look like he does have a good side to him after all, only for it to be revealed that he was both completely aware that Sleepy was never in danger to begin with as he recognized Perrine by the scent of her perfume, and that he's also associate with the mafia as well.

A pair of men who operate a business selling maps to women's homes to rapists under the masquerade of a Derringer Club that apparently arms, and trains women in the use of Derringers for self-defense, only to sabotage the Derringers themselves in secret so the women are unable to fight back.

* EyeScream: He gets his shards of his shades stuck in his eyes in the OVA.

* CanonForeigner: He's exclusive to the OVA, but many elements involved in his storyline are taken from canonical stories, such as Eddie taking a beating from a bunch of [[ScaryBlackMan Scary Black]] {{Mooks}} for Perrine's sake and to buy time from Sleepy, and it should be noted that the designs of said mooks are directly taken from the manga, Nickel inventing a bunch of custom grenades which he keeps in coffee cans, as well as the unsurprising reveal that Tom [=DiMiyer=] was EvilAllAlong, yet instead of being in cahoots with an extremely elderly unnamed gangster, he's associated with Don Enrico.

They are George Preston, an African-American former heavyweight boxer who was imprisoned for beating his opponents to death in the ring, Dirty Tiger, a white ex-pro wrestler, resembling Wrestling/HulkHogan who severely injured a fellow wrestler outside of the ring, got banned from pro wrestling, and then became a bodyguard for the {{Yakuza}} who killed three men. "Refrigerator" Bob, another African-American man, and a former professional football player who served as the defensive lineman for his team that killed his head coach in a fit of rage when the coach told him he stunk, and finally, Sammy Chan, an Asian-American man and former All-American Karate Champion who was arrested for kicking his co-star to death for making racial jokes about him being Asian and even stealing his girlfriend, causing him to snap and kick his co-star to death on-camera.

* KnifeNut: Subverted. "Deathmask" Callahan has him wield knives to intimidate Sleepy & co., but it's quickly deduced by them that he doesn't actually have any experience wielding knives by how he dropped them onto the floor when trying to juggle them.

* SuperStrength: He's strong enough to bend a bedframe with his bare hands and also gives Sleepy a lot of trouble in their climatic fight at the end of his battle.

* HorrifyingTheHorror: He's notably scared of he Shaoliumang, a group of Chinese-American assassins who will stop at nothing to kill their targets, even if it means literally dying in the process.
