* FlatCharacter: Before she was established as local NeatFreak, she had very little personality. Every other nun has some chacteristic trait, hobby, TrademarkFavoriteFood, companion animal or something else typical for them, but she just... was.

* ButNowIMustGo: Chose not to take the veil when she came of age, instead leaving the convent behind (her exact reasons are unknown).

* StrugglingSingleMother: Back when Hungry nun was a toddler, she was doing everything she could to take care of her, even though it was obvious just how tiring this was for her. Luckily, given she is now a CEO of the donut shop (as confirmed by Zookeepers), [[EarnYourHappyEnding she was eventually able to succeed with her business]].

One of the older generation of nuns, Strict Nun is a former foundling who grew up at the convent. She has very little patience for the younger generation, though she's more fond of them than she would probably admit.

One of the older generation of nuns, the Smug Nun is rarely ever seen without a smirk of self-satisfaction on her face. She's very popular with the younger generation, which she lords over her long-time rival, the Strict Nun.

One of the older generation of nuns, and the first of their generation to arrive at the convent. She rarely if ever shows emotion, but her authority is respected (and feared) by all of the other nuns. It is ''not'' a good idea to cross her.

One of the older generation of nuns, she is often seen with a blank doe-eyed look on her face, and has a love of rabbits and Easter.

One of the older generation of nuns, Leaf Nun is always having some kind of mishap.

The founder of the convent, the one who's technically in charge (though she lets the other nuns run things most of the time), and a surrogate grandmother to the younger generation of nuns.

An absolute troublemaker, Froggy Nun is a farm girl with a love of her signature amphibians, an undiscriminating palate, and an inability ''not'' to get herself into trouble when the situation presents itself. She is long-time friends with the Sheep Nun and has a pet ostrich and frog.

Unlike her fellow younger-generation nuns, Glasses Nun tries to avoid causing problems and generally sticks to good behavior. This isn't to say that she doesn't get dragged into their whirlwind, though...

The last of the younger generation to arrive at the convent (though older than most of the other girls), Sheep Nun is a long-time friend of Froggy Nun who (usually willingly) goes along with whatever hare-brained scheme she comes up with today.

The oldest of the younger generation and the first to arrive at the convent, Hungry Nun is most notable for her appetite. She only stops eating to exercise, and sometimes continues eating ''during'' the exercise.

* ChromosomeCasting: They're all woman because the setting is a convent at ([[AmbiguousTimePeriod presumably]]) the turn of the century.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: None of their names are known, so the fans usually refer to them by their haircuts or character traits instead.
