The patriarch of the Ottrani tribe of Vastaya, and Illi's grandfather. When Rumul is summoned, he grants two allies +4 health.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: While a pacifist and healer by trade, he's incredibly strong as an offensive unit, with a power count of 8 points. This is offset though by a smaller health count.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: His goal in life is to help and heal as many people as he can. His interactions with other characters are almost nothing but kind words and caring gestures.
* GentleGiant: He dwarfs the other members of his tribe, especially his granddaughter. But he's nonetheless a kind and gentle figure.
* IntergenerationalFriendship: He's good friends with the visibly younger Soraka. Though given that she's a celestial, the actual age difference between the two is up in the air.
* WalkingTheEarth: He travels beyond the reaches of his tribe's home to help those across all of Targon.

* EnemySummoner: She replaces herself in your hand with another Celestial card, which can very potentially be another unit (or, rarely, another copy of herself).
* GenderBender: As a human, Tyari was a male-coded nonbinary, but The Traveler is female.
* OldFriendNewGender: After scaling Mount Targon, Tyari returns as a female Aspect, to the surprise of the friends that supported them. Downplayed as it's not the change in gender identity that surprises them so much as Tyari becoming a Celestial.
