*FauxAffablyEvil: He's casual and affable at all times; even when threatening to rape the person he's talking to.
*ImprobableWeaponUser: The shreds of his tattered cape can be used as four extra limps.
*ManBehindTheMan: He's responsible for organizing the search for the prison of the Kthonian Knights and provides them with information so they'll do his dirty work for him.
*NoNameGiven: 'Man in Shadow' is just what others call him because he sounds like a man and stays in the shadows.

*BadBoss: Shouts abuse at his goblin employees because they aren't the brightest bunch and get on his nerves.
*CastHerd: The goblins have their quirks but they more identity as a group than individuals but and they're always together. Likewise, Smith Guy calls for them in every scene he's in.
*GadgeteerGenius: The brighest engineer in the nation. A MiniMecha is just his latest project.
*HandicappedBadass: Deconstructed. He's a big and strong guy but with a bum leg there's little he can do [[spoiler: to stop Mordak and Zarracka from destroying Final Shield.]] Then again, the legs of his MiniMecha work fine.
*SuddenlyFluentInGibberish: The goblins never speak like the other characters and yet Smith Guy can understand them.
