* {{Foil}}: Interestingly, he's one to [[Fanfic/UnbreakableDiamondProteanRain Fubuki]]. Both are {{Ascended Extra}}s of people that were mentioned by dialogue in their respective parts that were given some AdaptationExpansion to show their childhood times with the character from canon. One was even scared out of hanging out with the other after something they did, but the circumstances are different: Josuke healed Fubuki's broken leg, which was a good deed that Fubuki poorly responded to, while Vino [[spoiler:attempted to shoot Mista's eye with a rusty nail]], an act of malice that justifiably scared Mista out of ever hanging out with him again. Both [=OCs=] would later move away without saying goodbye to the other, but how the characters from canon feel about the other moving away are complete opposites as well. Josuke was emotionally shot because his only friend was shutting him away after desparate tries to reach out to him to the very end, and Mista was glad to see Vino gone after witnessing his violent nature, not missing him in the slightest. As a result, their history is reflected in how the canon characters feel about seeing them again in the present: Josuke is essentially happy to see Fubuki back, and Mista is not happy to see Vino, wishing the enemy was anyone but him.

** He can be seen as one to Hol Horse, as while both are gunslingers in their respective groups in their stories, they are also opposites. Hol Horse was smooth and confident, and while cowardly, he had his pride, while Vino is impulsive and hotheaded, which meant he'd keep going in fight even if he recklessly gets himself hurt. Hol Horse also loved women, while Vino's has an admirer in the coven ([[spoiler:Setteveli]]), he dislikes how they happen to be a creep. Lastly, both have opposite circumstances regarding their superiors: Hol Horse was afraid of Dio, who'd exploit this while threatening him. While Pomodora is caring to Vino, even if she had to confiscate his Witch token for failing his initial mission.

* BitchSlap: Gave one to Hitomi in ''Star-Crossed Crusaders'' when Hitomi attempted to call out her neglect of Giorno.
* BreakHerByTalking: She did this to Hitomi leading up to her BitchSlap in ''Star-Crossed Crusaders'', threatening her to not see her son ever again and that she'd make Hitomi's school life hell if she didn't comply. When this reduces Hitomi to shaking in fear, she twists the knife by proceeding to taunt her.
* HateSink: Arguably even more than in the source material. While we know she was a bad mother to Giorno, ''Star-Crossed Crusaders'' gives a lot of AdaptationExpansion to show that she was also a little physically abusive to Giorno, but enough to where Hitomi noticed bruises on him. On top of her cruelty towards Hitomi, even Jotaro had his life negatively affected by her, as she's responsible for Sadao seemingly cheating on Holly, which ended up straining Jotaro's relationship with him.
* HeelFaceDoorSlam: In chapter 18, she begins to feel remorse for how she treated Giorno while clearing out his room, but then [[spoiler:she is killed by Thin Lizzy moments later]].

(However, [[spoiler:said unborn child dies along with Shiori later on]].)
** While she did start to feel remorse over her treatment of Giorno as mentioned above, she still did a lot of other wrongs in the past. While she was [[spoiler:killed before she could go any further with such thoughts]], what pretty much drives this home is how she doesn't really recognize Hitomi when they come across each other, implying she thought ''very'' little of her.
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: She gets away with what she does in ''Star-Crossed Crusaders'' thanks to being SavedByCanon. Here, she's not safe from that anymore as Hitomi's first instinct upon a chance reunion with her is to throw the cappuccino she was drinking at her. Later on, [[spoiler:Thin Lizzy calls out her neglectfulness towards Giorno before he kills her, which gives her karma for her actions towards both Hitomi and Giorno. Even then, her death could also be seen as the culmination of everything she had coming]].
* NamedByTheAdaptation: Her first name was never known in the source material, so here she's given a first name.
