* OurWitchesAreDifferent: The biggest thing unique to these Witches is that their blood has magic capabilities, as shown by whenever their magical circle; The Wheel of Abraxas, is formed. This allows them to enter and leave areas, and also serve as a protective barrier from Stand or Drawn attacks as long as they stay within it. Some Witches also cannot awaken Drawns despite having the Lampad, as shown by Vino and Thin Lizzy, who are the only members by far to have a Stand instead.

* EvilCounterpart: To Mista, since they're both gunslingers in their respective teams and they both have Stands centered around guns.

* FreudianExcuse: The trauma Vino experienced from losing his parents and living on the streets for a year was a huge catalyst for him being bitter and hostile.

** Interestingly, he's also one to [[Fanfic/UnbreakableDiamondProteanRain Fubuki]]. Both are {{Ascended Extra}}s of people that were mentioned by dialogue in their respective parts that were given some AdaptationExpansion to show their childhood times with the character from canon. One was even scared out of hanging out with the other after something they did, but the circumstances are different: Josuke healed Fubuki's broken leg, which was a good deed that Fubuki poorly responded to, while Vino [[spoiler:attempted to shoot Mista's eye with a rusty nail]], an act of malice that justifiably scared Mista out of ever hanging out with him again. Both [=OCs=] would later move away without saying goodbye to the other, but how the characters from canon feel about the other moving away are complete opposites as well. Josuke was emotionally shot because his only friend was shutting him away after desparate tries to reach out to him to the very end, and Mista was glad to see Vino gone after witnessing his violent nature, not missing him in the slightest. As a result, their history is reflected in how the canon characters feel about seeing them again in the present: Josuke is essentially happy to see Fubuki back, and Mista is not happy to see Vino, wishing the enemy was anyone but him.

* SoleSurvivor: [[spoiler:While there were members of the Natale family that were held captive in their own mansion as long as they paid Passione, Burro would have them executed anyway two years after the wedding massacre when they were stripped of everything. Pomodora was the sole survivor of this because her mother used her body to shield her from the bullets. Risotto, who had a different moral code at the time, sneaked her out and took her in for a while before leaving her in his old village.]]

* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: A flashback has him saying this to [[spoiler:Fugo after Narancia sees him contemplating killing himself with one of Purple Haze's capsules, also expressing how he and Bruno wouldn't want to see Fugo gone (which is TemptingFate when you remember Narancia's orignal fate)]].

* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: Despite being TheUnfavorite, he still deeply respected his mother Enya, also seeking her approval despite how she hated him.
* GenderBlenderName: Even if he is NamedAfterSomebodyFamous, it'd be hard to fault someone for thinking he's a girl until it's reinforced that he's the Egyptian man of the group.

** Even then, he voiced Loggins too, and his character basically gets to be on Air Supplena Island again...and they both ultimately die in their respective stories.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: In the moments leading up to [[spoiler:Herb's (supposed) death]], Peaches' skin ends up turning pale, and then she's described to have a corpse-like appearance when it's shown she killed Herb, which was shown to be Fegato's handiwork. [[spoiler:Considering how Prudenza looked leading up to her death, this seems to foreshadow Fegato being responsible for that too, but he denies being involved the night of her death]].

* ThoseTwoGuys

** When Olivia comes across Caesar's memorial, Lisa Lisa says that what's left of him is buried there. This implies that his remains were exhumed after ''Battle Tendency's'' events. [[ContinuityNod Considering how he died though, it's a given that they wouldn't exactly have been in one piece.]]

** ''Unbreakable Diamond, Protean Rain'' first mentioned her to have been the one to deliver Will's letters to the surviving Zeppeli family. The moment is shown in chapter 26. On top of what's already been established, she's pretty important to the Zeppeli legacy.

** In chapter 3, her revealing her pregnancy and expressing excitement about having another child right to Giorno's face is ''full'' of this, simply because of how it's only after all of her neglect and abuse towards Giorno that she seems interested in having another child. (However, [[spoiler:said unborn child dies along with Shiori later on]].)
