* OminousVisualGlitch: It seems it must be difficult to focus a camera on [=JinSoul=]. Throughout her solo video, there are odd glitch-like distortions in the picture, and in [[spoiler: a certain Cinema Theory showing, [=ViVi=] focusing the camera on her [[SmashToBlack causes it to short out]].]] Throughout "Sweet Crazy Love", at least part of her face is always covered by an eyepatch, shadows, or an eye exam lens. It even extends to her dance close-ups; while Kim LIp's and Choerry's are focused on their faces, hers are off-center and only show her arms or lower body.

They seem to be connected to the eclipse, as in "PTT", the girls' signature glowing eye crescents have waxed to full halos.

* TheLeader: While Kim Lip is the one granted the title, [=JinSoul=] seems to take this role in "Air Force One", leading the crashing of the wealthy elites' party.

** This is further supported by "&"-era video teasers. In "&2," her Odd Eye is missing. In "&3," both [=JinSoul=] and Choerry are shown within neon rings glowing in their respective colors -- a parallel to Kim Lip's neon ring when awakening her Odd Eye in "Eclipse" -- which obviously represent their Odd Eyes, but Kim Lip is not. [[spoiler:Interestingly, in the music video itself, Kim Lip has an Odd Eye but still does not have a light ring.]]

Added DiffLines:

* PowerIncontinence: Cherry's power to travel dimensions seems to be something she's only able to access when asleep. She's shown at the wheel of a self-driving truck in "Sweet Crazy Love" while asleep, and her powers in Love Cherry Motion causing her to wake up in different places, seemingly with little idea of where she is or how she got there.

* {{Bishonen}}[=/=]{{Bifauxnen}}: Her extra self in "Let Me In" dresses femininely, with BoyishShortHair, but in extra commentary on the photoshoots, is referred to several times as male and dressed as such. Supernatural Is Purple and Supernatural Is Green have been merged into a new trope called Technicolor Magic per this TRS thread. zero context examples and examples that don't fit the existing tropes will be removed.

* PurpleIsPowerful: Choerry is the most powerful member of OEC, possessing a combination of Kim Lip's red and [=JinSoul=]'s blue. Overlaps with SupernaturalIsPurple.

** "Why Not" features Kim Lip looking confused and distressed in a green field as three moons (presumably representing ODD EYE CIRCLE) orbit around her. She cannot perceive the colors on the moons. She also sings about being trapped in a square room again (possibly the room in "Star"). [[spoiler:She later soars in the air in a parallel to [=JinSoul=] swimming her fish tank in "Singing in the Rain," and the green grass turns purple like with Choerry after she ate the cherry in "Love Cherry Motion," which may mean she regained her powers.]]

Choerry even asks if Kim Lip has lost her Odd Eye when they reacted to the Why Not MV.... She's meant to look distressed and the floating comes at the end, in a blatant parallel to Singing in the Rain (where Jinsoul was *imprisoned* first before breaking free, as others have noted in Jinsoul's entry.) This isn't "less than implied," it's very much an implied trope.

* {{Homage}}: The sub-unit borrows a lot from comic book superhero tropes. The "LOONATIC" music video is probably the most blatant example of this, [[https://youtu.be/XznW8Ti6WWk with its lyrics rendered in vintage-style comic book lettering and the video edited with animation effects that mimic classic comics' action drawings]].

this digression has very little to do with Jin Soul or dark colorations.

* DarkIsNotEvil: [=JinSoul=] describes herself as dangerous, is an AloofAlly represented by a hostile fighter fish, notably has ties to "fallen angel" Olivia Hye, has black as her sub-color, and is frequently in the shadows. Regardless, nothing that [=JinSoul=] has done so far indicates that she is doing anything but promote LOONA's goal of freedom.[[note]]It's worth mentioning that her representative animal, the blue betta fish, is in fact ''perfectly'' able to cohabit with other types of fish. They only tend to fight ''their own kind''. Keeping betta fish with goldfish is indeed dangerous, but likely more for the aggressive-seeming ''betta'' rather than the seemingly innocent goldfish: goldfish can grow up to 12″ and '''eat''' betta fish; goldfish are opportunistic omnivores with the tendency to eat the food of other fish and leave the carnivorous betta starving; goldfish waste puts betta at risk of ammonia poisoning. Not to mention, [=JinSoul=] pours her betta into a tank that's obviously meant for goldfish (that need cold water and are extremely filthy), meaning the water is ''barely'' warm and clean enough for her to survive. Goldfish typically provoke betta by fin-nipping as well, so it's not like betta fish just attack them out of nowhere. This is likely to represent how [=JinSoul=] is seen as dangerous and aggressive even though she herself suffers inside the loop, has justifiable reasons for appearing hostile, and is working for the same goal as the other members.[[/note]]

(This addition isn't necessary; the trope page itself is simply about voice, not necessarily a classical singing role. Also, Hee Jin has a deeper speaking voice but Jin Soul has the deeper singing voice).
