* HundredPercentAdorationRating: An actual game mechanic. It's perfectly possible to have a 100 reputation with just about every settlement in the map. The story itself has Henry earning the respect and adoration of both the upper and lower class dependent on the quests they do.

* ChronicHeroSyndrome: At least some quests are done without the explicit offer of a reward or with Henry refusing payment when it comes up. He does it to simply help those in need.

* IntergenerationalFriendship: Henry establishes a rapport with older individuals such as Hanush, Divish, Radzig, and Godwin.

* NiceGuy: Assuming the player avoids the crueler options, Henry is essentially this, HotBlooded traits aside. He'll help out his fellow refugees, strangers, and anyone else who needs help with little to no reward.

* NiceGuy: Assuming the player avoids the crueler options, Henry is essentially this, HotBlooded traits aside. He'll help out his fellow refugees, strangers, and anyone else who needs help with little to no reward. Cutscenes where the player isn't given a choice generally portrays him this way as well with Henry being warm and friendly by default.

to:

* WorfHadTheFlu: Given his skills, he likely could've easily fought his way up to the castle, but he was focused on protecting his wife and the sudden attack means he had no armor had nothing but a basic longsword for protection.

** Those Cumans that are [[BossInMookClothing nearly impossible to defeat]] for Henry with a ''sword'' at the start of the game? Theresa kills three of them if left to fend for herself. With a ''dagger''.

She escapes the Cumans that are [[BossInMookClothing nearly impossible to defeat]] for Henry by stabbing one in the leg either because they're distracted by Henry's escape or he attacks the rapist with a ''sword'' at blow to the start of the game? Theresa kills three of them if left head to fend for herself. With a ''dagger''.get their attention.

* ArrangedMarriage: Her father was trying to wed her to the [[MayDecemberRomance much older Tobias Feyfar]], all the while she's heavily implied to have a crush on the still-with-Bianca Henry. if the player has her avoid being cross to her father when she winds up standing Tobias up, he agrees to discuss the matter with Theresa about it next time, but he makes it clear that he won't give her hand to just anyone.
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Averted like hell. She's filthy by the end of ''A Woman's Lot''.

* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Averted like hell. She's filthy and wounded by the end of ''A Woman's Lot''.Lot''. Played straight in the base game where she looks rather pristine when she saves Henry's life.

* ChronicHeroSyndrome: The last part of her DLC involved her wandering around the Skalitz outskirts looking for survivors to send them to Talmberg rather than just escaping herself.
* CutsceneIncompetence: A rather glaring example at the end of her playable DLC. When she gets to Skalitz, Tinker agitates a looter and gets killed with Theresa only able to watch in horror. To get to the this point, the player has likely had her kill at least a few people via stealth or open combat. If the player had been in control, they could easily have killed the looter and saved Tinker's life. Cutscenes also portray her as unarmed except for maybe a dagger when the player is likely carrying a bow if not a melee weapon of some kind.

* DespairEventHorizon: [[spoiler:In the sacking of Skalitz, everyone she loved was killed--even her ''dog''. After a group of Cumans assault and try to have their way with her, only to be thwarted, all the exhausted, depressed Theresa felt like doing was staying in the ruins of Skalitz and starving to death. But then she saw a group of bandits who were about to kill the one of only surviving friends she had left...]]

* ExtremeDoormat: Depending on player choices, she can be this when talking to her father about her ArrangedMarriage. Despite her obvious displeasure, she tries to act reasonable and not let it show too much. Of course, they can have her be more openly furious instead.

* JerkassToOne: Depending on your choices, she can be rather snippy with Zbyshek, being very short with him and refusing to bandage him up after he's injured. Justified since he's {{Jerkass}} LazyBum who she has to convince to work.

* NiceGirl: A pleasant young woman who helps out her friends and risks her life to save Henry in the introduction. She then spends two weeks caring for him in his delirious state and never asks for anything in return.

* WeNeedADistraction: [[spoiler: Saves Henry's life by distracting Runt just long enough for Robard to arrive. ''A Woman's Lot'' shows that she didn't actually know Robard and his men would arrive, implying it might've even been a DeathSeeker moment.]]

* EvilUncle: Theresa's uncle is not so much evil as he is morally ambiguous. All the millers (or at least the three main ones: Peshek, Woyzeck and Simon, and Theresa's father in the DLC) have a reputation for engaging in thievery on the side. (In the DLC, Theresa's own father was stealing the King's silver right out of the mines!)

All that aside, he does seem to treat Theresa well, though she mentions he wouldn't hesitate to marry her off if he got something out of it.

* InadequateInheritor: The people of Rattay dread the day he'll be declared an adult, as he is seen as totally inadequate when compared to his father or to his guardian, Sir Hanush.

to:

* InadequateInheritor: The people of Rattay dread the day he'll be declared an adult, as he is seen as totally inadequate when compared to his father or to his guardian, Sir Hanush. As Hanush states later when dressing him down, a lord only remains a lord so long as they have the respect of their subjects, and Hans does not have his people's respect.

* TeensAreMonsters: A lot of his initial Jerkass behavior makes sense when you remember he's ''15'' at this point in time. [[spoiler:And according to history itself, already halfway through his recorded lifespan.]]

to:

* PoliticallyIncorrectHero: As expected of the time period, he has a rather dim view of commoners and treats women as conquests. The DLC has him (or rather Henry on his behalf) expend a lot of effort to woo the Butcher's daughter and talks about how she's the love of his life. Come the next day, he dismisses her as a fling due to her station and inability to read.

to:

*YoungerThanTheyLook: Just like Henry, he looks and acts far older than his stated age of 15.

* VocalDissonance: His quiet, soft voice has little in common with his dignified appearance.

appearance. Also a case of RealityIsUnrealistic since his voice actor matches Divish in age.

* {{Hypocrite}}: Henry can accuse him of being one for railing against the decadence of the Church while being heavily into drinking and fornication himself. However, Goodwin states that what he objects to is priests living in luxury, which he does not - the creature comforts he enjoys are ones that are available to the common people of his village.

** He holds the confession sacred and refuses to tell Henry what Lubosh confessed to him because of it. Go drinking with him, on the other hand, and he'll break that seal if Henry agrees to perform mass for him due to being hungover the next day. Henry can call him out on it, but Godwin simply tells Henry not to test him.

* OldSoldier: As the no-nonsense captain of the guard of Rattay. [[spoiler:He's tasked with teaching Henry the basics of combat, and more]]. Make sure you have a good provision of bandages before daring to ask him for combat practice with real weapons...

* BloodKnight: An explicit aversion. When he assumes Henry wants to kill his target, Ulrich shrugs and says he can since he never had a taste for the killing part of his job.

* DarkIsEvil: He's notable InUniverse for being a giant who wears all black.

* TheUnfought: He's not seen after the sacking of Skalitz, meaning that Henry does not get his revenge in this game at least.

* bewareTheNiceOnes: Henry is a pretty NiceGuy who, depending on dialogue options, can be polite and helpful to anyone he meets. This doesn't stop him from being a deadly combatant at higher levels.

* ExceptionallyTolerant: Depending on player choices, Henry can be remarkably accepting of what would be considered shameful in the time period. He can befriend the executioner Hermann, stand up for the whore Adela, comfort an apprentice monk accused of sodomy, and not show a StayInTheKitchen attitude like most men in the time period.

Added DiffLines:

* KidHero: He doesn't look like it, but WordOfGod and the way he's treated by the other characters indicates that he's a teenager during the story. Justified given the time period where people of that age range would be expected to get physical and fight if necessary.

Added DiffLines:

* NotAfraidToDie: Subtly implied. Outside of the introduction, Henry never shows fear or hesitation when wading into combat or sent to infiltrate extremely dangerous locations all by himself where he could be easily killed. [[spoiler:Even when captured in Vranik and beaten to a pulp, he refuses to beg and simply curses out his captors.]] It's indicated that this might be due to his SurvivorsGuilt and feeling like a coward for not being able to save his parents.

Added DiffLines:

* UndyingLoyalty: To Radzig. No matter what happens in the story, Henry will never betray his liege lord. Comes to a head in the Band of Bastards DLC. If Kuno takes Zoul's bribe, Henry will be left alone against Zoul and his entire group of hired soldiers. Despite being given a chance to leave unharmed, he challenges Zoul to a duel and claims that he refuses to walk away due to his loyalty to Razdig. Especially notable since Radzig himself indicates that he would lose to Zoul in a fight due to his experience, meaning he's willing to duel someone who his liege lord thinks would be a HopelessBossFight,
